my iTunes music wont show up after signing out of a different account and signing into mine
also, could I download two different iTunes accounts music onto one device?

Um, maybe if you further described your problem. It just sounds like (to me) that you must have somehow deleted your music from iTunes but not from it's library (the hard copy of the songs it keeps in its folder). In that case youd have to drag all those files into the "library" icon of your iTunes.

Music wont show on my ipod

However, when i plug it into my computer i can see all my music but it wont sync back to my ipod. Everytime i click on a song an exclamation point appears right next to.
Im not to sure what happened, my bf was downloading some new songs from spotify and it wouldnt sync to my computer. It was taking forever and my itunes frooze so my bf unplugged my ipod without ejecting it properly, and when we tried to put my ipod back into my computer all my music was lost from my ipod, except the ones that were recently downloaded from spotify. But when i click on my ipod on my computer i see all my music but it just wont transfer back to my computer!!!!
My bf was only able to get a couple of songs back to my ipod but not all of them. PLEASE HELP!!!!! I have no idea what to do and i dont want to lose all my songs either because half of my songs where from my sisters old computer and they wouldnt all transfer over to my new computer but they all stayed on my ipod.

- The ! means that iTunes can't find the song file, it just has the title and where the song should be located. You can verify that by trying to play the song in iTunes on the computer.

I recently got a new Gateway desktop with a HP monitor which I previously owned. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes and once it was fully installed and ready to use, I connected my iPhone to my computer. The driver was installed successfully. However, my music is not in the iTunes library at all, and I am scared to do anything because I dont want to lose the songs that are already on my phone. I tried to transfer my purchases, but only 30 songs went through because I do not buy all of my songs. I could not think of anything else to do, so in order to preserve my songs on my phone, I uninstalled iTunes and am now on here asking for any assisstance. So please, how can I mke sure all of the songs on my phone get into the iTunes library?

You need to move your old iTunes music folder to the new computer and authorize it.

My music wont show up, but memory is still taken up

My 20GB iPod Photo "cannot be recognized" by iTunes. Normally, I would just restart it, but most of my 3,500 songs are not on my computer. The memory is still taken up when I go to the 'about' section of the settings section. All of my photos and contacts are still there though. Any help??

Restored iPod, songs wont show?

It started off a few months ago when one of our family computers was stolen. My brother primarily used that computer for his iTunes and I used another one (this one) for my iTunes. Once it was stolen, we tried to transfer his songs to this computer, and no luck. It only transferred my songs to his iPod. This didn't bother him because we had a similair taste in music, but now he wants his old songs back. I made seperate accounts on the computer for me and him, and I basically erased all of my songs off of his iPod. The problem now is pulling up the songs that he previously purchased. I signed on to his account, and they didnt show up. How do I retrieve them.
Long story short:
1: My songs replace brothers songs on his ipod.
2: Made seperate accounts for each of us, restored (deleted) his iPod.
3: Signed into his iTunes account, music wont show up.
Any help or links appreciated.

You created a new AppleID?
Why not simply update your old AppleID so you have only one iTunes account?

I bought an audiobook, but it wont show up in the audiobook section in the music app. When I go to the book in the search in ITunes, it says it is downloaded...but does not show up in the audiobooks section in my music app

If you pull down the centre of the iPad's homescreen (not from right at the top of the screen as that will open notifications) to open the search field, if you type in the name of the audiobook or the name of the author does that find it ?

I have lost all my music and a site showed me how to get it back but the music wont play

My computer crashed and I lost all my music when I tryed to transfer all my music back into itunes the music wont play but it does play the new cds i have purchased from itunes

Media can be restored from the backup that should be kept of your important files. If you do not have a backup, that is not good.
Since you stated you recoved your music, does the music now actually exist on the computer? Do you see it in iTunes? What happens when you try to play it? Details are important, otherwise a lot of time can be wasted on irrelevant troubleshooting.
If the new music is playing, that would lead me to suspect that the old music was in fact not recovered.

I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

Ripped CDs wont show up in iTunes library

I've recently got an iPod touch 5th generation, mainly because my MP3 player doesn't have enough space for my music. I've tried looking on the internet but nothing has really helped my situation.
As I found out, you can't sync the iPod with Windows Media Player, which is where all of my music is stored. I found out that you had to download iTunes and then sync all of the songs from there to my iPod. Most of my songs showed up in my iTunes library after installing it (ones that had been converted to MP3 files on the internet for personal use for free via online websites).
When I ripped some CDs to WMP on my computer, I was quite excited that I could have all of my favourite music on my iPod. All of the music that I want on my iPod is in one playlist together, so I thought I could just transfer them to iTunes and then sync them.
After it had finished syncing to my iPod, I noticed that my ripped CD albums had not showed up in my iTunes library and had therefore not been synced to my iPod.
I would really like for these to be put onto my iPod, for that is the whole reason of getting it, not just for the social media.
I have about 4 CDs which I've ripped to WMP that I want on my iPod, but I cannot figure out any way of getting them onto it. They wont show up in my iTunes library but I can't understand why and I've searched the internet for solutions and nothing has helped me.
Does anyone have any ways of helping me add my ripped CDs onto my iPod? I don't want to have to waste money on having to buy them all again from the iTunes store when I already have them in real life.

I have a similar problem.
This morning, all music was gone from my iPod, just like that. I had been having troubles with playing a couple of songs last night if that's connected. Anyway, I connect it to my Macbook. I try to reset it through iTunes and that was done, I pressed eject and ejected it when it said OK to disconnect -- although when I did so it said it wasn't ejected properly. Now when I connect it appears in Finder as a device (like that thingy that appears when you install stuff, a white thing) but it doesn't in iTunes. In fact, as soon as I plug it in iTunes freezes and I can't open it or do anything in there, the marker just shows that it's loading.
What do I do?
