My MuVo V100 won't work in my computer anymore.

My husband just got a new mp3 player. Since we hooked it up to our computer, my computer doesn't reconize my MuVo V00. I no longer have the hardware for it. Is there anything I can do to get my computer (I have Windows Xp) to reconize my mp3 player?

I have a 5th gen Ipod and it has been working fine for the first month I've had it but recently I can't seem to get it to work with Itunes or even be detected on my computer. I've already tried all the things it says to do on the support page and none of it seems to be working. I've reinstalled everything and tried the Ipod updater but it won't work. iTunes 10.7 does indeed work on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Do you mean you have Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard? If so, and you updated your iPhone 4S to iOS 6 on some other computer, then you may be out of luck synching to your 10.5.8 system, but you can get and try 10.6.3 here:

HELP!!! iTunes 8.1 won't work on my computer.

ever since i've downloaded the most recent version of itunes, every time i open it it shows me an error message that says "windows - no disk," and it says "exception processing message" followed by a bunch of numbers.
i've already tried restarting my computer, uninstalling itunes, and reinstalling it, and it still won't work. can anyone help me? i'm desperate.

Magic Mouse won't work in Windows 7 anymore

I've got an iMac running OS X 10.6.8 and Windows 7 via Boot Camp. I just updated a bunch of the Apple stuff on Windows -- iTunes, Quicktime, "boot camp" (I assume that meant drivers and such), and whatnot. Now my Magic Mouse won't work in Windows 7. It was fine before, so I assume the update screwed something up. Help? I know nothing of retrieving old drivers and stuff like that.
Note: I am running Snow Leopard, NOT Lion.

my ipad mini wont connet to my computer anymore, i plug it in i see the battery for a second then it says not charging and it will not connect with itunes. it has worked fine up until now.

If you are running a Mac, the repair for your iOS device not being seen by iTunes could be very simple : repair your permissions. Create a bootable USB keychain drive with the latest version of OSX on it. Boot from it. Use Disk Utility to repair the permissions.
NOTE : Please remember to continue running permissions repair until it returns zero fixes. This fix also assumes you have diligently updated your Mac to the very latest OS and other software available from Apple.
Then just boot from your internal drive as normal, and see if it works. I don't know if this will work for you, but it is another possibility to try, and worked for a Mac Pro tower (running 10.8.5 and the latest version of iTunes 11.1.x).

Muvo V100 Won't Connect - How do I install the driver alone? Where on the disk is

First of all, I've read through the FAQ, etc., the Creative Knowledge Base, searched the forum, and read the manual, etc. and I cannot find an answer.
In short, all I want to do now is try installing the Muvo V00 driver alone to see if that fixes my problems with the PC not fully recognizing and communicating with the Muvo V00. And then maybe try using it on a friend's PC to see if it works. I'd have done that already except the friend li'ves quite some disctance. If that doesn't work, this thing is going back and I'm not sure I even want to try an exchange.
I'd be very appreciati've of any help you can provide. Thanks!
My tale of woe:
I have a Windows XP Home PC and I cannot get the PC to fully recognize the existence of the Muvo V00. I've installed and uninstalled the software (Creative Media Explorer and Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer and I guess the driver) several times and the PC doesn't recognize the existence of the Muvu V00. I follow the installation instructions exactly and it just doesn't work.
I have tried using the Muvo V00 after uninstalling the software, and the PC recognizes that a "mass storage device" is attached, but it won't provide a dri've letter until I try to "Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device". And during the Safely remove process, which strangely gives me an hourglass for many minutes, it finally runs the Autoplay routine, but that gives an hourglass and never finishes and I have to cancel it. And then the "Safely remove routine" finally comes back and safes it can't be safely removed, try later, even though no other applications are accessing the Muvo V00. Then, surprisingly, the PC displays a dri've letter for the USB Mass Storage Device (the Muvo V00), but when I try and access it, all I get is an hourglass.
By the way, I'm in Information Technology so I somewhat know what I'm doing. So far, tech support has been less than helpful and has only provided a link to the Knowledge Base!

I have the same problem with my new Muvo V00. Before installing, I tried turning off all antivirus and every program I could think to turn off that I usually have running. My computer refused to recognize the Muvo V00. I called customer service, they sent me directions to do a clean install. This involves editing the things that load with windows so that nothing interferes with the installation. I tried that. (Now I get a nice boot up message asking if I want to load windows or go to the Restore utility.)
I found information in the Creative knowledge base about permissions. So, tried editing the permissions to the USB and USBSTOR. After everything I tried, either my computer would recognize the Muvo for a few seconds and then forget it existed, or my computer acted like I hadn't installed it in the first place. I've gotten the dri've letter after one reboot and lost the whole thing on the next reboot. The Creative software either didn't find the Muvo, or if it did, it froze when I tried to access the device from the menu.
I've used restore points to revert my computer to before installation, and tried reinstalling. I tried updating my bios (which got it to recognize the Muvo for the longest time ... about an hour. Then, my computer froze.
I tried downloading the dri'ves for the NOMAD as was suggested here. But that didn't work either. First, I got the message that I had newer drivers on my machine and the whole installation program closed. (Uninstalling the drivers and using the downloaded ones didn't work either.)
The weirdest thing is that my friend's computer recognized the device immediately. AND my computer fully recognizes her Muvo TX--even the creative software recognizes it perfectly!!
I'm at a loss. If my friend wanted to trade devices, all would be well. But she loves her TX.
Before I realized that my friend's Muvo TX works perfectly, I was convinced that my Windows XP was corrupted or something. Apparently, it's not.
If anyone can give me any advice or help (there might be something out there that I haven't tried), I'd appreciate it. The thing is that the V00 was a gift. I'd hate to have to ask for the receipt to return it, but that's what I may end up having to do.

My Macbook keyboard won't work and the computer is shutting down at random. Any advice?

I have a Macbook that is approximately 2 years old. It had water spilt on it but since then everything else is working fine.
The keyboard won't type at all, it did on the original start up after the water damage was assessed within the computer's shell. Now not at all. I'm using a USB keyboard for the time being.
Also, it shuts itself off at random. There is a dull click and the screen goes black, then when you attempt to restart it it loads a little and then it clicks and screen goes black again.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

First I would try closing the app from multitasking and then launching it again. To do that, double tap the Home button and then swipe up on the app to close it completely. If that does not work, then I would restart your iPhone.

Won't work as a startup anymore.

I have been running my Imac with Snow Leopard on an external Lacie disk and backing it up on another disk with Time Machine. Today the power went out for a couple of minutes and my computer will no longer allow me to select it as a startup disk. Fortunately I had another hard drive which will work as a startup but how can I access the Mail, Time Machine and the items on the desktop from the now unhappy operating system?

Yes it mounts and shows up in startup Disk in System Preferences but is faded and won't let me select it.
I've am not familiar with Diskwarrior but see I have Techtool Pro 5 which I have never used - would it do anything usefull?
Also, if you have a time machine back up on another disk then you can easily restore everything from the TM back up on the new disk you are using, think I am missing something here.
I went to Time machine and was able to move documents to the hard drive I am now using but when I tried moving the system folder and put in my password it said it couldn't restore the system folder because there was already a system folder there. (But I am not restoring it to the Hard drive that is actually running the computer now.)
What I really want is my email and the desktop documents on my screwed-up OS. Where can I find these in Time Machine?

Netflix won't work on Apple TV anymore

Hi there - bought my Apple TV a few months ago and signed up for Netflix over 30 days ago. Everything worked fine.
Now everytime I try to start Netflix I receive an error message "We're unable to connect you to Netflix. Please try again later (ATV-ui113)
Any idea?

I also have the same issue and I have done all that restarting, resetting, unplugging everything. In my case none of that stuff works. I have the latest software. It is connected wired to ethernet port from the router because I gave up trying to make it work with Wi-Fi. There is no connection problem! Everything connects just fine. Even when I connect to the Wi-Fi network. It simply won't stream Netflix. I get sound but the picture either goes black or freezes. Apple!! Make the **** thing work with something other than iTunes Store and don't make us buy your overpriced router (Airport Express or Extreme). I'm betting I can go out and buy a Rocu right now and it would work just fine.
