My name is displayed instead of my publishing company's name for my books in iBookstore. I cannot find where to change it in iTunes Connect.
Any suggestions (besides opening a ticket)?

Best to put that type of question to your legal counsel, I think.

Few users of our portal are facing the below issue in standard Who'sWho application.
Users search for their name and the application displays it.
But there is some data inconsistency as the Official Phone number is been displayed instead of Official email ID.
At the back end the data is maintained properly.
When the official phone number is not maintained at R/3 the application displays the email id correct.
But once the official phone number is update the system picks the phone number as email id.

hi,
I found out that there is no RFC which is called instead there is standard infoset query which is fired.
The name of the query is "/SAPQUERY/HR_ESS"
how shall I debug this query please help as I have not worked on it before.
The problem is not seen in quality portal.
Is it possible to create a request for the standard query and send it.

Camera icon displays instead of Trash-Can upon selecting a message in the conversation and clicking on 'Copy/Speak/More...'
After restart, now it shows Trash-Can again.

Many were saying that you just needed to turn your phone off and turn it back on after upgrading to ios8.1, so that you could then delete single messages.
It worked when I did it the first time, but today while sending text messages the trash can disappeared while I was trying to delete some messages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've added some slides from different folios to favorites. When I navigate to the favorites list and tap on any item - the first slide of an article is displayed, but not the slide that was added to favorites.
Why the first slide of an article is displayed instead of the slide that was added to favorites?

Looks like there is some problem in the masthead par. Check the code of it. If you don't have the par with you, download it from system admin->support->portal runtime->browse deployment.

I think what may be your main issue here is that the 2011
server has the Intel integrated HD3000 and is is struggling
to run both a Thuderbolt display and a second monitor.
When looking at specs for Thunderbolt Display, it is stated
that the 2011 Mini Server can only support one. Adding that
Dell monitor with 1920x1200 display may just be too many
pixels for the HD3000 to handle.
You may want to try setting the Dell to a lower resolution
to test the theory to see what happens. It is however,
possible that any additional monitor when using the Thunderbolt
display may over tax the HD3000 graphics.
FWIW personally, I have been running a 2011 Mini Server w/ Thunderbolt
display for almost a year now without any issues. However, I don't
use a second monitor.

I am in the process of trying to send some "photos" from iPhoto to a self publishing company and they want it sent CMYK as opposed to RGB. The "photos" were printed beautifully for 2 books I created at an earlier date. I want to send in the right format

How do you convert iPhotos to CMYK? I want to send "artwork" which are essentially photos to a self publishing company for a children's book and don't know how to do this. The iBooks I created are beautiful and vibrant. Why can't I just send the photos? They want all artwork tiff and CMYK with at least 300dots on resolution?

Photoshop is a very expensive application. GraphicConverter can convert RGB files to CMTK and can set the PPI to what you need:

let me explain you how material master data is maintained and used in the Media / Publishing company.
As mentioned in previous post by Laxmi material master data is maintained in following 3 level.
1. Media Product Family (JP21, JP22 and JP23) : This is the first hierarchy of material master data, which stores information i.e. Brand, Brand Manager, Marketing Manager etc. Lets take an example of ' Magazine' which is a Media Productly Family.
2. Media Product (JP24, JP25, JP26) : This is the second hierarchy in the material master data, which contains information i.e. Media Product Family (i.e. Magazine), Content Category (i.e. Sport magazine or Automobile Magazine), Publication Frequency (i.e. Weekly or Monthly), Media Type (i.e. Online Publication, or Printed etc). The most important things is each media product has a unique relation to its media product family. So most of the data is copied directly from Media product Family.
3. Media Issue (JP27, JP28, JP29): This is the third hierarchy in the material master data, which contains information most similar information as of normal SAP material. Media issues are only relevant for delivery. Example can be lets take a Media Product as Sport Magazine which is published every calender month so the Jan Issue or Feb issue are nothing but the media issue.

In Messages, underscore displaying instead of contact's name

In Messages, for some reason recently some of my more frequent contacts are now displaying as underscores instead of their contact names. These same contacts still appear completely normal in the Address Book. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I removed everything in ~/Library/Messages/ where the message history and attachments are stored. Next I also removed ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/AddressBook.* to force the Address Book index to be rebuilt. None of this has worked. Every time I try to send a message to my best friend, Messages will find the correct name. However, once I select his name, it appears as an underscore. This happens with about three or four other contacts as well. It is particularly annoying since now the conversations get mixed, almost as if they are all with the same person. How do I fix this? This is incredibly annoying as the underscore sync is starting to creep into my iPhone. It needs to be rectified...now...but how?

It certainly is a puzzle.
It is possible it is still a Font Clash rather that anything else about the Font itself.
However we could spend ages working through combination that you might have.
Helvetica Fractions is one that has caused iChat problems in the past.
If you have that Font turn it Off and restart Messages.
I would also use the "Restore Standard Fonts" item in the File Menu just in case something is missing that we are unaware of that is needed for Messages.
In the Contacts App > Preferences > Accounts how many accounts are active ?
Depending on the Accounts you list in System Preferences > Internet accounts you may list several choices here.
You may also show an "On your Mac" option if at one time you had the Address Book here first as it were.
If these fail to help then use the Finder > Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key and select the Library that appears.
In the Library go to the Preferences Folder and find com.apple.iChat.plist.
Drag this to the Trash and then restart the app.

Now the user the wants the name of the Purchase requisitioner to be displayed in the FIORI page as follows.(The below screen shot is from or internal lab system).
But when tried replicating the same in our client system, we are getting the WORKLFOW SYSTEM instead PR Requisitioner name as below.
I have checked with all the authorizations but ended with no clue.

Display blob in bi publisher

I have a report that I"m trying to display an image at runtime. I create the data template, then the word template.
In the word template I have tried:
1. Tried adding the code to the a text form field (form fileld text help)
2. Straight to the word rtf template:

None of these have worked.

How to display images in BI Publisher from a LONG data type

We are storing images in Oracle Database as LONG data type. When I am giving query in BI Publisher and view the XML generated, I am getting the following error.

my problem is, for each job_id there is many users. Oh that's something completlty different...
I Strongly Recommand to_
1.*create 2 tables Jobs & users*
2.*create a relation between them* 1 to many to get for each job more than a user that's the way that Must be -- execuse me the bad design of the db pulled u into this trap -
3.then u can deal with it normally no need to a sample code but just a form with Jobs as (Master) and Users as (detail) with a relation and with a simple query u can display each job_id is for many users.
no null values no commas r needed.

I read zillion threads here on OTN, searched the Internet, but I can't make it work. Procedure created.As suggested in a few OTN threads, I did this too (although I don't quite understand WHY, as I created the procedure in a schema I use in Apex; there are no other users involved). Anyway: I thought that it won't do any harm (but it didn't do any good either).

I can't figure out what I did wrong. It should work, but it doesn't. Could someone, please, point me to the right direction?

I said: while I was trying to make it work, I used "schema_owner.procedure_name" notation too but that didn't help eitherOracle user name is "RADNI" (the one I used to create objects, I was connected to it in SQL*Plus - all my previous copy/pastes were taken while connected to that user).
So I tried with

I just started using Application Express so, basically, every day I discover something new. I purchased a book (based on Apex 3.2) so I thought that I'd rather stick to it until I +get a feeling+ and then, hopefully, move on to a higher version.
