My Nano 5th g battery was dead, I charged and it play fine but all written material ie play list, music, albums, etc. are backwards.  Help please.  Tx  Tom

Try resetting the Nano first to see if that helps. To do this, first make sure the hold switch is in the Off position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If the issue persists, connect the iPod to your iTunes library and restore it to factory settings.
