My Nano was STOLEN by some punk at school!

Would like some advice on how to recover my Nano that I registered. I've filed a police report and had an officer interrogate the person I suspect (who undoubtedly denied, denied, denied!), but I did register the serial number, in hopes that the idiot will try to register an Itunes account with it. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you set up the Find My iPod service before the iPod was stolen, then if circumstances allow (the iPod is on, connected to WiFi, and the thief hasn't restored the iPod or otherwise disabled the service) you could wipe the device. If you didn't set up the service, though, then there's nothing you can do.
I looked at my apps and realised that I don't need them any more so I deleted them. It made a note that the content would be removed from ALL my devices.

That only happens when you sync the iOS device to your computer. It does not remove anything from a non-connected iPod. So there's no need for you to remove your music, nor your apps, from iTunes on your computer since doing so has no effect on the stolen iPod.

How do I keep my music from my old 1st gen ipod mini when the computer that I originally loaded it with was stolen more than 5 years ago and transfer all the music onto my new ipod touch? My fear has always been that plugging my mini into another computer and attempting to download more music onto it or take what's on there off will end up erasing all of it because of file sharing regs. My daughter lost (or possibly was stolen) her I pod touch

My daughter lost (or possibly was stolen) her ipod Touch (4th gen I believe) We've done everything to retrieve it but can's seem to locate it. I've ordered a new one, what is the easiest way to get her previous paid apps on the new ipod (also a 4th gen) I have the original case to the old one so I know the SN (not sure that's helpful or not) I have the find my ipod app but unless it hooks to the web i'm guessing that's not very helpful.
What I want to do is just get the paid apps from the old ipod to the new one. I'm not that swift with itunes but I'm guessing there must be a way to transfer them. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to do this?

No, there is no other way to track it. If you have a pass code set and are using iOS 7.x.x then the thieves simply have a bricked iPhone that is useless to them.
