My netstat has a foreign address. Is my computer hacked?

Under active proto in Netstat there is a foreign address. Sometimes it says "time wait". Now it says "established". Is someone remoting into my computer? If so, how can I stop it?

Now I can make purchases in neither country.
I want to make purchases in the US Store from Japan.
Help! I feel like I am getting punished for being global. (The world should be getting smaller, more interconnected, and more convenient with the Internet --- not the opposite!)

Well, I can certainly understand the licensing argument if I were using a Japanese credit card with a Japanse address and making a purchase with Japanese yen from the US Store from Japan.
When I am making a purchase with US card from the US store with US dollars, the argument becomes a bit suspect (I know it is Apple's, not your argument).
it is just kind of a paradoxical situation and I am hoping Apple will offer some sort of solution. We can always hoe, right?

Foreign addresses connected to my mac?

we have a network of macs (all with static IPs, using TCP/IP, broadband router; basic setup really). Recently, I've been attempting to develop an Applescript that will tell me the local IP address of any machines that have connected to me over the network (it would save me having to ring round the company at the end ot the day asking " are you connected to my machine ...?"
Anyway, I started with a shell script (do shell script "netstat -W | grep -E 'EST|Foreign'"). However, this returns a number of foreign addresses which I don't recognise:
hc6526170.dhcp.vt.edu.44916 ESTABLISHED
cc310752-a.kampe1.ov.home.nl.44149 ESTABLISHED
ucnano9.seas.ucla.edu.nssocketport ESTABLISHED
I've got the Mac OSX firewall enabled, and am a bit concerned about this unrecognised network activity.
Any help/ideas, as always, would be gratefully received.

Hm. One thing netstat won't tell you is who initiated the connection; whether it was an application on your machine, or the remote machine.
With the firewall on, if you have no Services enabled in the "Sharing" panel, it is very likely that some application on your machine opened these connections. If you can't think of any obvious candidate (BitTorrent, maybe?), then you might want to install Little Snitch and see what it turns up...

This post was about having updated the primary email address on an iTunes account via a computer - if you do that you might need to log out of the account on an iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version of the account for that email address change to be recognised on your iPad. If you don't log out and back in then an iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch) might continue to show the old version of the iTunes account id.

BUT as I want to utilise the money spent on the additional memory it would be great to use the initial account set up as my primary HOWEVER as far as I have tried the initial apple ID CANNOT be changed. Bit confused actually any usefull guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you are not in the US then you cannot use the US store, the store's terms say that you have to be in a country to use it - if you are using the US store then you are risking having your account disabled.

How to call a method by specific IP address(if the system has 2 IP address)

In my project I have two N220 systems, which has two IP addresses each. Server has the following IP addresses
172.31.128.93 This IP address connected thorugh HUB
3.3.3.1 This IP address connected through Crossover cable
Client has the following IP addresses
172.31.128.94 This IP address connected thorugh HUB
3.3.3.2 This IP address connected through Crossover cable
In server system I bind the RMI registry in the following way
Naming.rebind ("rmi://3.3.3.1/HeartBeat", this);
And in Client system I lookup in the following way
Naming.lookup("rmi://3.3.3.1:1099/HeartBeat");
Now the problem is, the method in RMI server is not called through Crossover link it is happening through TCP/IP link. Is there any way to call the method by only using Crossover link?
Please help me with this issue...

In solaris 220 machine i am facing the following problem While executing lookup method.
If the crossover cable is properly connected lookup method is working fine.
If the crossover cable is unplugged, lookup method is waiting indefinitely until the cable is plugged in. (Lookup method is not throwing any exception )
Is there any way to avoid this ?
Please help me with this issue..

I have an problem on the email sending. We have application to send email to internet. But many emails are not delivered to the internet. When i see message tracking i can see Sender and Recipient has sender email address. (Same Email address)

Do we have some Transport Rules applied?
Please run following command to verify whether we have some Transport Rules:
Get-TransportRules | FL
Do other users in our org have this issue?
How about the mailflow to internet? If all of the users in our org cannot send to internet, please verify the Send Connector Configuration on Exchange Server 2013.

plug your iphone into your computer with your itunes account signed in to update it, (if you want your own apps ect.) if all you want to do is change accounts signed in on the iphone than simply open settings and scroll down until you see itunes and app stores touch the apple id tip top and signout, sign yourself in. any apps she has "purschased" that you have not.. i imagine will just cease to work.
if you both share the same contacts, it won't be a big deal, however if you have work and her shcools numbers ect, and she just has mom/dad/buddies you may have double numbers and apps and what not by doing this, so if it does become a mess.. just get on itunes log into your account by clicking the store menu in itunes and going down to the account id on the bottom of that menu and just restore your phone.
