My new comp won't upload my songs from my iPod

Does anyone know how to upload songs from an iPod? My old comp crashed and now I only have the songs on my iPod. I have a new comp with iTunes installed, but have no idea how to access them. Can someone please help?

An iTunes account or a computer account?
You can continue to use the AOL account./ Just change it to a regular account.

I would highly recommend you do not create another iTunes account if you have any purchased music on this old account.
You cannot transfer music between accounts.
You need to authorize the new computer to play that music.

Transferring songs from my Ipod to new hard drive

I had to remove work related programs (and my ipod library),from an office laptop computer I brought home. I transferred some stuff (including wife and kids itunes libraries), from the old home computer to the new (old)laptop,downloaded itunes and it restored their libraries. When I plug my ipod in to it I get the "itunes can only be on one computer" message and asks if I want to erase ipod songs and replce with this library (pretty sure it means my wife and kids). Can't get songs from my iPod into the library on my new mac

I recently had to get a new hard-drive on my dell laptop, and iTunes was uninstalled from the computer. When I re-installed iTunes, my iPod was not being recognized by the laptop, so none of my songs on my iPod were in the library anymore.
Now I have a new MacBook, and my iPod is being recognized, but I can't get most of my songs from my iPod into the library in iTunes.
I'm sure there is an easy solution, but I can't figure it out!

Just got a new computer, and I want my songs off my iPod and onto my iTunes

So, I just got my new computer, and I have about 400 songs on my new iTunes. However, on my iPod, I have around 3,000. Some of the songs, however, I no longer have the cds for. I really don't feel like buying or tracking down ALL of those songs again. Is there a way I can get the songs off my iPod and onto my new iTunes? Hey, I had the exact same issue. The way that Apple explains to do it is change your iPod into hardrive mode by messing with the preferences. While your iPod is hooked up to your old compuer, go into preferences and check the box saying enable disk use. Then your iPod will appear on the desktop and you can drag the song files into it. I don't know if you can transfer them all at once or not. Anyway, then you hook up the iPod into the new computer and drag the songs into iTunes. I had trouble doing this and it erased all my songs one time but I think it was an error on my part. Another way to do it is to send the song files through AIM. Have someone on the old computer and you on the new one and send them in large bunches to the new computer. Yet another way is to e-mail them to yourself and download them on to the new computer. The sure-fire way (and the way I finally succumbed to but it worked!) is to download the program iPodCopy on the new computer and follow the instructions to have your music quickly and easily copied. It does cost $17.00 dollars to download but I was willing to pay the price to have my music transferred hassle-free. Just type iPodCopy into google and it should come up. After months of trying and searching how to transfer my music to the new computer, this was my last resort and it was well worth it!
