My new Dell Win 8 PC does not recognize my CS5 installation disk.
I'm willing to download from the web, but I can't find the right site.

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

  • I transferred CS5 to a new computer using PC transfer program. CS5 started up on the new computer OK, but now does not recognize raw files. Should I uninstall and reinstall again?

I transferred CS5 to a new computer using PC mover ultimate. CS5 appeared to start up normally, I had to insert the serial number from my original CD. However, now the program does not recognize CR files and Adobe bridge is not working properly.  I get messages that CS5 needs to be updated, but the updates fail. What should I do? Should I uninstall CS5 on the new computer, uninstall CS5 on the old computer using the original CD, and then reinstall CS5 using the CD on the new computer?

Transferring programs does not work well with Adobe applications.  You should install them.
As far as having the program on different machines goes, you are allowed to have two activated installations so if it is working on the original machine there is no reason to remove it unless you need the space.

  • I am trying to create a new Apple password but Apple does not recognize my one and only email so stuck on a merry-go-round. Any suggestions?

I am trying to create a new Apple password but Apple doe not recognize my one and only email address, so I'm stuck on this merry-go-round. Any suggestions?

you haven't told us what "Park" the "merry-go-round" is in
tell us what actions you take to get Apple not to recognize your email address...
Are you formatting it correctly? - username @ someDomain .com <- NO Spaces (I did it so the system wouldn't make an email link out of it)
Tell us what happens when you realize  that Apple is "not recognizing" your email. What message do you get, exactly? Take screenshot of the entire screen for context

  • Snow Leopard Installer does not recognize Hard drive in disk utility.

I first at the suggestion of apple technicians because of other problems erased and partitioned hard drive. Now when I go to reinstall Snow Leopard it does not recognize the Macintosh Hard Drive, not even in disk utility. Any help will be greatly appreciate.

To make sure we understand everything correctly, you are saying that when you start up from the Snow Leopard DVD & run its copy of Disk Utility from the Utilities menu, it shows only the DVD installer disc itself in the list on the left of Disk Utility's window? There is nothing else there?
Also, what are you booted from when you try to make an image of the installer DVD, the DVD itself or something else? Are you using Disk Utility or something else to make the image?
This seems very weird for sure. If you were running from some hard disk copy of the OS, I would suspect that its copy of Disk Utility or some OS support file was corrupted, but if you are doing this from the DVD that is extremely unlikely unless the DVD itself is physically damaged.
Apart from that, pretty much the only thing left is a damaged hard drive or other hardware failure in your Mac.

  • My computer does not recognize Photoshop CS5 Extended disc

my computer does not recognize CS5 Extended disc. Can anyone help me?

if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
    and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

  • New MacBook Air 11" 2012 does not recognize 3G dongle

    Hello,
Bought the new 11" 2012 MacBook Air last week. Unfortunately I can't use my 3G dongle with it. (it's a T-Mobile branded Huawei E173) The Air just doesnt recognize it. Even not as disc image. When I plug it into my 15" 2009 MacBook Pro it just works fine. Disc image with the pre-installed software pops up and it can be used to access the internet. It works fine on my 2008 Mac Mini as well and tested it on my dad's 2010 iMac as well. It just won't work in my Air. Any idea??
Thethering from my iPhone is not an option because T-mobile has blocked that. Mifi is too big for my pocket and I don't want to think about charging it all the time. So a dongle is the way to go for me.
    Thanks in advance.

Ok, I solved my problem. It cost me some money but I can use a dongle in my Air now...
After reading on another forum how someone else solved this I went the following road: I walked into a Vodafone store and bought the dongle they offer with their dataplan. It's a Vodafone k3770 which is actually a Huawei as well. It has no simlock so it works with my T-Mobile sim. It got recognized immediately by the Air as a drive station and offered the Vodafone software (which cannot be installed on OS X 10.8) But the stick is being recognized as a modem in the network settings of OS X itself. The only thing I did is enter the phone number of T-Mobile *99# and I could connect! If you tick a box there to have to modem status displayed in the menu bar you can just connect by clicking the icon in the OS X menu bar. Awesome! Much better than the crappy software that comes with these dongles.
I made a deal with the Vodafone salesman: if it doesn't work, money back. But it works. But note: in different countries it may be simlocked. I live in The Netherlands and over here it's not locked. It cost me € 60,- but it's worth it because I can't work otherwise....

And why I dont have anymore drivers on support and then drivers its say no product, btw... F60-10K driver page dont exist anymore !
    Thank you, vfranges
    Btw.. Sorry on english xD

    Hi vfranges,
Yes, you dont need the Toshiba recovery disk because you can use the HDD recovery files to reinstall Windows. But to be on the safely side you should create the disk before you start HDD recovery. If something goes wrong, you can use the recovery disk.
Back to your question: The HDD recovery feature you can start in advanced boot menu of Windows. So press F8 key before Windows starts and select Repair My Computer and follow the screen instructions to start HDD recovery.
By the way: All these information you can find in user manual! ;)

  • New laptop with Windows 8 does not recognize my Playbook. I had it working before on Windows 7.

I have had my Playbook connected in the past and was able to transfer files with the WIFi switched off. On my new laptop with Windows 8 there is no recognition in "Computer" and Blackberry Desktop Software shows no connection.
Is this a Windows 8 problem?

  • Organizer problems with Elements 12---running a PC windows 7 ---cannot set up new places subcategory and elements does not recognize that I am on the internet

Has anyone had similar problems to the above and what is the fix??
    Thanks

The fix was to completely remove all Apple Software following guides in previous posts.
Then download and re-install latest iTunes 64-bit, making sure to Run As Administrator.
This fixed it. Now the next thing seems to be that as I move from one device to another to close and restart iTunes between each one. Treat it gently. It seems to break easily and a lot.

  • Bootcamp does not recognize windows 7 installer disc

I am trying to install windows 7 on my mac using Boot Camp.   I have a bootable version of windows 7 that is NOT a branded version on a usb flash drive.  No matter what I do when I hit install, I get the following error:
The installer disc could not be found.
Insert your Windows installer disc and wait a few seconds for the disc to be recognized.
    Why isn't it recognizing this?
    Thanks in advance,

Actually, it is the Option key that you need to press to get the boot startup manager.
Is the partition mounting in the Finder as a disk? When you do GetInfo on the disk, what does it say in the General section at the top? My Vista partition mounts, and the GetInfo General section has the format listed "Windows NT File System (NTFS)"--I can double click to open it and see all the files, and copy them to the Mac partition.
Also, you might want to post further in the Boot Camp Installation forum:

  • Bootcamp does not recognize Windows 7 Installation USB

I have a 2010 iMac running the current 10.10 Yosemite build. Bootcamp version is 5.1.2.
I want to install Windows 7 via Bootcamp on a partition on one of my internal hard drives.
I created an installation USB drive using bootcamp resulting in a MS-DOS FAT formatted USB flash drive containing ~4.75GB of data. The OS installation and the current Bootcamp tools. The drive is named WININSTALL .
When I start up Bootcamp to do an installation I get an error saying "The installer disc could not be found."
How do I tell Bootcamp to install off of the USB instead of looking for an installer disc?

You might wan't to ask in the Boot Camp forum where the Boot Camp gurus hang out.
    https://discussions.apple.com/community/windows_software/boot_camp
It sounds like you have not yet completed the Windows installation process by installing the Windows drivers.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize ipod

My iPod classic is not recognized in windows 7 (new PC).  I can see my iTunes and all the music on line, however, I cannot synch any new music as the PC does not recognize my iPod.  I have tried all the help FAQs that are on-line.

Does the iPod appear in Device Manager when it is connected?
To access device manager, click Start and then right->click on Computer and choose Manage.
It might be listed as unknown or under the USB host controllers section.
