My new desktop charger DT-33 disappointed me

It won't fully charge and it charges for more then 6 hours I guess. I said I guess because i really don't know when the charge was finished. There is no instruction in the Manuel. There is instruction on my phone manual saying around 2 hours of charge if i use the phone charge. In 3 years i never over charge my batteries, i set alarm for it.
But right now i have no idea when the charge completed. And there is always 1 bar missing. So its not fully charged. So that means it needs more then 6 hours?
E63 phone happily using 2 batteries. I have no problem when i let the phone to charge

-They don't fully charge the batteries? NICE! I ordered 4 and they are on the way. And they were very expensive, not to mention that they don't charge on their own...I had to buy 4 chargers(AC-15E) to connect to each DT-33.
-The phones nowadays(5 years ago at least) need too much power, so one battery is not enough for a couple of hours of taking pictures, so when will NOKIA think of a charger just like the common chargers for the common batteries that are used on cameras or remote controls, etc. I mean a reliable desktop charger that is connected directly to the wall power socket and that can charge at least 4 batteries at the same time and with the option to charge only 1 or only 2 or only 3 at once?

People want a desktop charging cradle for their phones. Why can one not be produced? A lot of us purchased the phones under the assumption that a dock was being produced. Are you going to allow Incredible owners to exchange their device for Droid X's? You can't get any manufacture to produce a dock that can charge? I really don't think people care THAT much if the home screen doesn't auto rotate. If the clock application is launched it works fine in landscape or you mean a dock that works in portrait isn't possible?????

how difficult would it really be for them to just place the micro usb plug slightly lower to fit the inc? i love this cradle if the could duplicate it to fit the inc. it can't be that tough to do. and with minor tweaks you could lay it on it's side for landscape. it would be perfect....postrait AND landscape AND it has a slot underneath for an extra battery. the manufaturer would have a gold mine because they'd be the ONLY ones with anything to sell us!!!!

New Desktop sync download not working

Downloaded the new desktop software ver 7. will not complete sync just states processing sync preview. Had to remove old version and add new ver 7 would not update automatically.

What I learned last evening, in case you don't know to do this:
I placed a phone call to BB (RIM). They told me to contact my phone carrier so as to halt BB tech help charges. My carrier is Verizon. I got lucky. The CSR that picked up my call at Verizon in Chandler AZ was super great and patient. He told me that Verizon had "flag" notifications since last week that 7.0 a problem. He stayed on the phone with me, because technology challenged is my middle name, and he helped me uninstall 7.0 and reinstall 6.1. 57 minutes later I was back in business for my computer and my BB Storm speaking to each other again. Amen to that whole scenario.

Charging Playbook with Desktop Charger

Ever since the upgrade to 2.1, I haven't been able to charge my Playbook using the desktop charger. I can use the cord that came with the Playbook; but that doesn't help at night when I usually have the device on the charger and use the Playbook as an alarm clock. When I put it on the dock , the charging symbol comes on; but it actually starts to drain the battery. Ideas???

The Rapid charger should have no effect to any OS update as its run direct from your home wall socket plug but however if its the other type of desktop charger that runs from USB as opposed to the small 3 pin dock port on the rapid charger then yes you will have this problem as a lot of us have since the update as RIM has changed the charge allowence through USB to lower the amount taken in to the Playbook disregarding any other threads on here saying otherwise, as we all know the USB Charging worked just fine before this 1032 update and now its a no go zone due to the OS change so if you are lucky enough to have a Rapid charger then you should be ok but if not then i would look at the charger rather than the playbook on this one? As to the Calender and Contacts that is reported on another thread here http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-PlayBook/Update-2-1-0-1088-is-released/td-p/196374... following a prompt RIM update to 1088, sadly im not updating at the moment so cannot comment on the New OS Update.

How do I turn off desktop charging mode on HP Pavillion DV6

My pavillion prompted me to turn on desk top charging mode to preserve my battery life 'cause it noticed I had the laptop plugged in most of the time. I accepted / clicked OK. Since doing that my battery will not charge !!! It is a new battery and new charger (2 months old +/-) I dont think it is a hardware issue because everything was working fine till the software prompted me to turn on desktop charging mode ?

You’re having a problem not being able to charge the battery for you laptop.
I’m not 100% sure where the setting for desktop charging mode is, but ill give it a try.
First I’d do a hard reset.
Power off the computer.
Remove the power cable and the battery
Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth power sources are removed.
This should reset the hardware in the computer.
Next reset BIOS defaults.
Turn off the computer
As you turn it back on tap the F10 key. This will load BIOS setup utility.
Press F9 to load defaults
Press F10 to save and exit
When the computer boots back up, check to see if everything is working.
Also go to power options and reset defaults

Can you advice to a configurations of a new desktop to work?

I´m not an expert in computer specifications (at true I have just an overall knowledgment about this) and I do not want to compare computer manufactured by specific companies (this is not the intention of this post).
We work with Dell computers since 2005. Now we are thinking about buying a new desktop computer for work. We are focused on social movies, like weedings, birtdays and so on. We record and edit in FullHD. We work with Premiere, After Effects, Encore (also other Adobe softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and sometimes we do some work with 3Ds Max to make some animations.
Well, acessing the Dell´s website we perceived there´s two models of computers that has a similar price (but a considerable difference in configurations). The first is a New Dell XPS 8700 and the second is a workstation Dell Precision T3600.
New XPS 8700

if you would choose from one of them, which one would you choose? Why?
With my poor expertise about computer specifications, I tend to choose the XPS, because of the bigger Ram memmory, the bigger HD...should I assume the video board and processor of XPS is worst than the Dell Precision??? this is why the price becomes similar?

As configured, the XPS is much better.
The GeForce GTX 660 blows away the Quadro 600. The Quadro series, being more "pro" or better specced, is false marketing.
For either system, I suggest at least two drives: one for your OS/system, the other for your footage. (Check out Harm's guide here.) If your budget allows, using a SSD for your system drive would be beneficial (not sure the 32GB in the XPS would be large enough).
Also, the more RAM the better. The 16GB in the XPS should be sufficient...but I personally have 32GB and sometimes it's not enough.
Just curious...what format are you primarily shooting in? AVCHD, P2, etc?

Based on what you've posted, your computer does not have the right tuner. You need a QAM tuner to record locals from FiOS, or a CableCard tuner to record all local and cable channels from FiOS.

This is bad and I am sorry to hear that you are running into these issues.
Let me connect with you, so right now, the current state is that you have installed copy of PSE 8 in trial on your windows 7 machine, and when you are trying to enter the serial number from your PSE 8 Box, it is saying the serial number to be invalid?
It might sound pretty obvious, but please make sure that you are entering the serial number correctly and of PSE 8(in case you bought a PEPE box)?
Have you tried the steps mentioned below by Barbara?
If possible, you can send me the serial number through PRIVATE MESSAGE and I can check it on my end that whether the serial number is indeed invalid or that the issue is with your machine?

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.

I need to sync a new desktop to my laptop and android device. I have tried everything in your help section and cannot make it happen

I just got a new Comp and my old one tanked. I am trying to recover my firefox setting and book marks and such. I have tried doing the sync.... but it doesnt seem to want to. I am trying to sync it with my spare laptop. What I really want to do is sync it with my old laptop whose hard drive I actually had installed as a backup drive in the new system. Its complicated. I actually have the old comp synced to my android phone... but can not get it to sync with the new comp either. Its making me nuts, I have so many book marks and to add them all by hand is going to suck!!! I got through firefox's walkthrough, and it says to go to the Firefox button and select Options, then select the Sync Panel... that is the first problem! there is not "Sync Panel" on either the new or the old comp. It does not exist. I can select "set up Sync" but that is not under options, it is separate... and get the choice Create new account, or I have an account... then I can either enter my account info and a recovery key (which i dont have and cannot find) or I can get a 12 digit code to enter to sync the other device. problem is, both computers generate a code, when one is supposed to have a blank space so I can enter the sync code. Some times I get the blank space on the comp that I am trying to sync the old one too... and I enter it and nothing happens. HELP.

Thankyou. I actually figured it out partially myself. I simply opened a new Firefox sync account so that I could sync my backup laptop to my new desk top. The issue here is that I am dealing with 4 devices.
1.'''Original Laptop''' (which is no longer functional, though I have the harddrive installed as a backup drive in my new tower... it was cleaned of all bugs prior to install)
2. '''My backup Laptop'''. I have been using this device for the last 3 weeks. Was unable to sync it with my old one before it went down, so I have since added many bookmarks as such to the onboard firefox browser.

The reason I started a new Sync account with a different email address is because I could not get anything to work as the Firefox instructions said to. So once I setup a new one everything worked perfectly as far as syncing from the backup laptop to the desktop. I finally was actually shown the previously mythical "Sync Pannel" which would not show before.
My question is this now:
I see that one of the options when sycing allows you to blend the saved data with both devices (assuming that both have bookmarks and browsing history etc.)
I need to be able to add in the sync data that is stored on my android to the other devices, most importantly the desktop. Now that this data is in two separate sync accounts... is that possible?
I had issues with both the desktop and the backup laptop being able to log into my old sync account even after I was successful in resetting the password. I tried to use the recovery key once I reset the PW and i copied it exactly and even regenerated a new one. The sync system would not accept the copy and pasted exact copy of the recovery key, it kept saying invalid key?
I would really like to get my sync data from my android to sync and blend with the new sync account as I have many many bookmarks on the android that were on my old laptop.
I hope that this makes sense... It is very tough to explain!
Will appreciate all help.
