Every time i tried to update it goes to the middel and it stops thes a feald messeage appears how can i know if its runnig ios6 or not ?

Resolved!
After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

That's quite a title I created! Sorry, I've never submitted a question before! ☺ I do not want to update to the latest iOS (Asian language stuff) which is useless to me and I don't want to waste space on my iPhone 4S and iPad 5. I want to be able to "Select All" updates instead of doing each update individually. It's a real pain in the you-know-what. Does anyone know how to I remove this notification (and any other updates I'm not interested in) from the Updates page? Thanks so much everyone!
Thanks so much for your time! I wish you had a more positive answer, but c'est la vie! I hate the fact that I cannot control my apps and feel like a hostage of the developer(s). I've read other forums and some responses were "then delete the app!" Lame answer! So thank you so much for your respectful and insightful reply! Cheers.

I have a new computer, Windows 8. My old laptop died and I used to Sync my iPad and iPhone on that device. Now I want to update, the new desktop computer states that I do not have permission. How do I change permissions to this new computer?

There were some updates on my Apps. I updated them on my iTunes but my iPad did not get the same downloads/updates thru iCloud. Does the iCloud only works for "New" Apps or Books downloaded from the store but not the "Updates"?

HT4623 How do i update an older ipad's IOS? It does not want to connect to server.
How do I update an older IPAD? When I go to update it gives me a message regarding it cannot connect to the apple server, yet internet service is okay.
I have also checked to see if itunes is listed in program to accept through the windows firewall. All of this is good. Any suggestions?Is this iPad used?

It should be reset to wipe all content from the device and set up as a new device with iTunes. It should update to IOS 7.0.4 -

I have an iPad 3 retina with ios 7.0.4; yesterday (May 2nd) I was going to update to ios 7.1.1 but since i hear from a lot of people saying that it has more issues and battery drain problems than 7.1 (for the ipad 3)
What should I do to update to 7.1 and not the ios 7.1.1 that it has already downloaded on my ipad, and in my pc on itunes?
I want to update to 7.1 since it is said its a good option for ipad 3 owners

Wanted to update the software now available, but it is asking for a pass code. As far as I remember in didn't put in any pass code , how do I settle this issue . Earlier updates were asking Apple ID but pass code for updating the new soft ware not known.

But there is also some problem.totally agree. at this point i could care less if "apple" supports it. i'm not renting my ipod touch, it's mine. i paid for it. and i'm not asking to do anything illegal with it, all i want is to get rid of this POS ios6 and get back to being able to use my ipod touch the way it was before...working.

I backed up my Iphone to itunes so i can do the new Update to IOs 7 and so now that i updated it i want to backup and restore and its not working, Please help!
An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. Updated ios8 on ipad: new calendar entries do not sync to other Apple devices through iCloud
After downloading the latest ios8 update, the calendar function on my iPad no longer syncs as it should with my other Apple devices. Specifically, it will receive calendar entries made on those other devices but I can not make an entry on my iPad show up on the other devices. How do I fix this?
Related to this, some of the support community entries suggest logging out of iCloud and then logging back in. But then I read that what I have to do to do that is to delete my account. I don't want to do that. I want to keep everything I have on my iPad- mail, calendar, notes. I just want the sync function for new calendar entries to work.Check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) on your iPad and make sure it's set to an iCloud calendar. If it isn't, make this change, then test calendars syncing again.
If your default calendar is set to and iCloud calendar, go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Calendars, choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then turn Calendars back on. Test your calendar and see if it syncs properly now. -
Why does't my Audio Bible have Chapter Selection in the new music update on my IPad.
It worked perfectly before but now I can not select the chapters?Because Apple has inexplicably removed support for audiobook chapters in its iOS 5.0 music player on iPad. It makes no sense, but that's what they did. Hopefully it'll return in a future update.

How fast does Apple produce new RAW files for new cameras? I want to buy a D7100 wich is not supported in the present version?

FWIW,
Adobe keeps a quarterly release schedule for RAW updates. The current Lightroom 4.4 RC expires on 5/31/2013 which typically is an indication that the official release will be close to that date. According to the current list of new supported cameras, the Nikon D7100 is not slated to be supported (but that could change on release).

You're welcome, but I didn't do anything. Try closing the camera app completely and reset your iPad and maybe that will help.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Jeez. Trying to view items in youtube. I keep getting a blacked out picture telling me my browser is out of date and I need to download the update. I do that and then it doesn't connect so I'm back at square one.
