My new iPad2 won't start up or shut down and I'm getting an error message OxE80000651

My iPad won't start up or shut down and I'm getting an error message when plugged into iTunes as OxE8000065!

Is it frozen on a certain screen? If yes, this happened to me when I tried updating the software on my iPad. (I have the iPad 1) All you have to do, is hold down the home button and sleep/wake button at the same time, for about 5 or so seconds. The iPad then should do a Factory Reset and turn on. After that, just connect the iPad to your computer and sync it to get all of your stuff back on it. I hope this helped! If not, could you give me any more info?
