    Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it.  So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
    Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID).  If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

    Yes it is possible.
    After you activate the apps on all of your devices with your Apple ID - you then have to add another email address at which you can be reached on all but one of the devices - and then remove your Apple ID email address as the contact address on those devices. You can keep the ID on one device as the address at which you can be reached.
    It is really very simple to do, but this user posted this some type ago and it explains how to do it. You can also Google it and find other sites that explain it. But here you go ....

  • IPhone won't let me log onto any site which requires a username and password

    Hi there,
    My iphone 4 (ios5) has stopped letting me log onto any website which requires a username and password. They have all worked in the past but have stopped working. My iPad is fine.
    It happens if i am connected to wifi or 3g.
    Has anyone else suffered this?
    I have restarted the phone and done a backup and restore.
    Any advice would help.

    Sorted it.  In settings - safari - privacy was set not to accept any cookies.  I have changed that to accept from visited.  Now working ok again.

  • My new iPhone 4S won't let me recieve/make calls or texts.

    My new iPhone 4S was delivered to my house this morning and I put in the SIM card and left it off for an hour...an hour or so later I turned it back on, set it up and it said that I was connected to my network (3) and that I have full signal. However, my phone will not enable me to receive/make calls or texts and everytime I go to call, this error messages pops up: "Sorry, you've not been given access to this service" and immediately ends the call. Also, everytime I switch on my iPhone, it says in the corner that I'm connected with my network and next to it will appear a small UK but it will go away in a second. Ive also looked on my settings for the iMessage but it keeps saying it's waiting for activation. I don't understand what's going on with it :/ Please help me, thanks so much.

    My iPhone 4 is not letting me sign in with my Apple ID. I have my phone synced up to my sister's computer (who has a 4S) because I don't have Internet on my computer. And ever since I updated my phone to iOS.6, the App Store asks for my sister's Apple ID password. I log out in settings (even though it says its my Apple ID) and login again and my phone accepts it. Then I try to download something and it STILL asks me for my sister's password. This has never happened until I updated to iOS.6
    Please help~ :'(

  • HT204053 I want to change the apple ID for iCloud in my iPhone so that it's the same ID used with my iPad and Mac. When I go to settings and iCloud in the iPhone, it won't let me change the current apple ID - how can I do this?

    I'm hoping to sync iCal via my four apple devices through the iCloud.
    Unfortunately, I used two different Apple IDs when setting up the iCloud accounts on the devices.
    How can I change the Aplle ID associated with my iPhone so that it's the same one used for my iPad and desktop?
    When I go to settings and iCloud in the iPhone, the apple ID that appears is greyed-out and will not let me click on it to change it.
    Any suggestions?

    To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the other ID.  When you delete the account it will prompt you about what to do with the iCloud data.  If you need to migrate it and merge it with the data in the new account choose Keep on My iDevice; then choose Merge to upload the data and merge it with the new account.  If your data is already in the other account and you don't need to migrate it to the other account, choose Delete from My iDevice.

    Are you trying to sign into your iCloud account?  If so, what happens when you try?  Any error message?
    If not, what are you trying to sign into with your ID and what happens when you try?

  • Safari won't let me log in to a MOO that uses enCore Express 4.0.1

    In my uni course we are using a MOO hosted on one of the uni servers, based on the open source enCore Express program.
    It used to open up fine, but now refuses to let me in, and gives me "session expired" messages instead.
    I have checked and all the right boxes are checked to allow plug-ins and Java.
    Any clues??

    I found the solution.
    1) Go here: http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/manage/
    2) Click on Sign in to manage your Apple ID
    3) Click on Manage your Apple ID
    4) Type in your Apple ID and Password and click Sign in
    5) Select Addresses from the left hand side
    6) Click Edit
    7) In country region type United Kingdom
    8) Click Save at the bottom of the page
    9) Go to your Apple Device Settings - General - International - Region Format - Select United Kingdom
    10) Press the Home button
    11) Log into Facetime and iMessage with your CORRECT APPLE ID AND PASSWORD

  • So my daughter just bought an iPad mini I have my account set up for purchases and app downloads, I made a new email and verified it for her to use facetime and iMessage

    As the question says. So I sent a text to myself from her ipad it then popped up her name with the message but then also my name. I am trying to make it so she can send texts out but I will not get them also. I don't have my number or email checked under send and receive but it is still sending to me. iCloud is disabled on her device.  Any ideas?

    Why not just create an Apple ID for her and then you wont have any problems. Login on iMessage and Facetime using her ID and do the rest with your ID. It will work i tried it on my iPad

  • I kept trying to log in my apple ID to use FaceTime app but it always shows me that an error encountered while logging in your ID try it later,but I am using the same ID on my iPad as well as on my iPhone they are working perfectly fine tell me solution ?

    I kept trying to log in my apple ID to use FaceTime app but it doesnt allow me to log in for using facetime. Whereas I have been using the same ID as I am using here on my Macbook pro but it doesnt go through especially for using facetime app.

    None of this has worked.
    My Apple ID and password work with everything else. I have a good Internet connection. No Firewall active from my IMac.
    LIke I said, I haven't installed anything recently and FaceTime ver. 1.0.5 on OS X 10.6.8 was working fine prior to yesterday.
    I restarted my IMac to run Mavericks and FaceTime 3.0 under OS X 10.9.4 is working and I was able to login and use FaceTime on Mavericks with no problem.
    For some unknown reason FaceTime on IOS and on my Mac were asking me to login into FaceTime when I haven't had to do this for quite sometime.
    Older FaceTime 1.0.5 all of a sudden has decided to be a problem with login on my IMac under Snow Leopard.
    The only thing left I am going to try is the two-step Apple ID verification process where I can use a app specific password, but Apple makes you wait three days before completing the two-step verification.
    If this doesn't work, then I do not know what will solve this issue and now I made my Apple ID login process more complicated than I really wanted it to be.
    I purposely stayed away from using the two-step ID verification login.

    My brand new ipod touch won't let me download apps.  I put in my password and then get a screen that says "Download Now".  I can't press the okay button to start the download.  What should I do?  All of the other buttons on the screen work, so I don't think it is broken.

    Try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
