My new iphone 5c does not have an "alarm" on the clock function. My iphone 4 does and it works perfectly. What's that all about?

I recently purchased a new iphone 5c unlocked in the States and have moved to Doha, Qatar. When I went to set the alarm in the clock function a message came up saying I didn't have an alarm on the clock. This is strange as my iphone 4 does and it works fine. How can I add this feature to my clock?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

We don't know anything about what is wrong with your device or how Apple can resolve it. It's possible that Apple consider you at fault if you did something wrong or maybe the reps have made a mistake. We don't even know if you spoke directly to Apple, an Apple store, Applecare or a third party?
You should look at how you purchased the device and what protections you get through that payment method. Consumer law will cover you as an individual but if you used a business credit card etc you may have a different set of limitations.
The original supplier may be responsible for returns & replacements - where did you buy it?
You have my sympathy, but this is a user forum and we can do nothing about this unless you want to know where to look for help or support.

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them.
Start up in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.
If you still have problems, then from the Font Book menu bar, select
File ▹ Restore Standard Fonts...
You'll be prompted to confirm, and then to enter your administrator login password.
Also note that if you deactivate or remove any built-in fonts, for instance by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.

The iPhone includes a one year warranty. If an Apple store is not nearby, you can call AppleCare and handle an exchange under warranty over the phone. this conversation has help me, today I had the same pop up scam announcement, I was searching in you tube yahoo and google about this no one apparently had this issue before, first I was going to call the original apple phone number because to me this pop seem awkward but the announcement had the apple name I gave it a try but using the call app phone booth just to see if it was the official apple phone number and if it was not who ever was asking me to call wont get my actual phone number, to my surprise it wasn't apple official phone number because I have called the apple official # and is nothing a like, I hung up all worried and sad with only one option in my mind called the apple support number, then I stop and thought for a minute and one clever thought came to my head that is brain lol, the clever thought was this "let me put this phone number in the web to see if it takes me to the official apple website" so I did it and the first pop up search was this article this conversation of you guys read it and follow the instructions they were very successful fix my issue, thank you so much guys, keep up the great work.

I got a new iPhone 5 about a month ago and i was just sitting in my room, on instagram, on my phone when I suddenly heard a pop and noticed my iPhone cracked. I showed my friend who didnt believe me untill it poped again in his hands as well then a third time when it was placed on the table. I never dropped it or was never placed under any extreme temperature changes or anything. I noticed some other people having this problem as well and its not just me. Please let me know who else has this problem and how you resolved it. Apple is clearly doing something different and with less quality that screens are just popping and cracking.

Whether someone else has had this problem doesn't really matter. It happened to you, make an appointment at the Genius Bar and have the device examined. If Apple determines it is a manufacturing defect, they will replace the phone if it is under warranty.

I get a tab opening that says that I have won and to click on the button to get my prize, I am unable to close that and therefore uninstalled Firefox... What is that all about? It appears to be malware.

The tab that opens does so in a second tab after the home page tab has opened, but it does not allow access to the home page tab, and it will not allow closing of the tab. It says that you have "WON", and you need to click on the button to collect your prize. It is clearly malicious software, but what, why and how to avoid it is not at all clear. It does not corrupt Internet Explorer.

I have an elder statesman Pro. This morning he restarted himself to a folder with ? Restart was "on his own" no one touching anything. What was that all about?

A couple months ago, I went to work on my Mac Pro. I found that there had been an apparent restart - for which I was not present - and the screen now was blue, with a folder on which was a ?, as in the Pro could not find a startup folder.
After an agonizing morning of trying various things, I finally got the computer to start on a DVD. From there I could access my hard drive and used Time Machine to go back a week and restore everything. Shortly after that, I got my heart back into normal rhythm.
This morning, at 0600, while I was doing something completely un-computer related - the computer being untouched since last night - when my Pro shut itself down, then restarted itself. Again, the startup was interrupted with a ?folder, "I cannot find my brain this morning" icon.
I shut the computer down completely and left for a couple hours. I have now restarted the computer, feeling like, although I would lose a couple hours work, at least I knew the situation wasn't hopeless. To my surprise, the Pro has started up as normal and all things seem normal.
What is this "I will simply restart as I wish" routine - seemingly at 0600 - and why can he suddenly not find his startup routine?
As a possible clue, I offer the following:
While I did not see the original restart, I believe it too was at 0600; I was in the office shortly before that time, left, and returned about half an hour later. I have the computer set up to awaken and grab my email at 0600, so I can sit down and go to work.
Also, I have noticed since the first incident, when the computer awakens in the AM, I frequently have to reconnect my wireless mouse and/or keyboard. Sometimes I actually have to re-add them to my bluetooth list. Sometimes they remain listed as favorites, sometimes not.
This is an older Pro, dual-core Xeon processor, running 10.6.8 - mostly to accomodate some of my software.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Can't sync as not enough room in itunes? what's that all about?

I've just tried to sync my iphone to do a back up (hasn't been done in ages) as my new iphone should arrive tomorrow. It did all its syncing (I thought) then gave me the message that there wasn't enough room (in itunes) and it wasn't able to sync. Looking at previous comments on this subject I've managed to solve the problem myself by deleting apps off itunes and then deleting the same ones on my iphone. Had to do it a couple of times to get enough space but it seems to have worked.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position.

The easiest AND quickest way would be to reset the iPad and start over.
Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

My rue la la app for ipad suddenly dosent work so I deleted it now when I try to reinstall it the app store says that it not available in the us. It is still on my Iphone and working properly. What is this all about?

My rue la la app for ipad stopped working. I deleted the app and tried to reinstall it, it is no longer available in the app store and when I research it on safari and find it when i try to install it says that it is not available in the us store. What is that all about?

My app did the exact same thing. It is still unavailable on the App Store and when Rue La La's site directs you to download their app, the "not available in the U.S. message appears. This happened to me last night. The app wasn't working, I deleted it and was just going to reinstall but was unable to find the app. I figured it was some glitch but I have tried multiple times this afternoon to no avail.
