My new mob on EE is paired with my cars Bluetooth but it cannot find my contacts
i have just received my mobile upgrade and have linked it to my cars bluetooth. I can give and receive calls via the bluetooth but my cars display will not show my contacts and says list empty....any ideas?
Have you allowed your contract to be shared via Bluetooth ? It should be in the phone settings

Are you making sure you are in park before attempting the sync? The car won't allow you to do it in motion, whether or not you're the passenger. -
E71 bluetooth does not pair with my car bluetooth

To set automatic bluetooth connections go to MENU - CONNECTIVITY - BLUETOOTH, at the top of the scree you will see the word Bluetooth then abluetooth icon and spanner; curser to the right to the next twin bluetooth icon where it will show all the paired devices. If there are none listed go to the options soft-key and select "New paired device". If you have previously paired a device select it, if not search for devices then connect. Choose "authorise device" to connect automatically in future. Having said all that, and done all those things, my E71 still wont connect to authorised devices!! It must be a software problem with the E71 because my N96 and X6 have all worked perfectly automatically with the same devices the E71 won't!! Come on Nokia give us a software update to fix this problem; PLEASE.

I recently downloaded Mlountain Lion on my Imac. It shows that I have an update for Evernote that should be downloaded, but I cannot find out how to complete this update. It asks for me to sign in with my email address, but does not show how to do this. Please help!
I have done exactly what you said. When I check "update", a screen drops down that asks that I enter my email address to continue........but i cannot find any way to do this.
In the past, all I would do is check "update", and the update would take place. Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, this has changed, and i do not know how to do this simple thing.......the app store shows an update is due to be updated, but i cannot find out how to do it. -

You can only use BT between iPhone & PC for an interent connection to the PC. -

My IPhone 4S with version 6.1.1 will not stay connected to the bluetooth in my 2012 Subaru Outback. The phone is paired and registered with the bluetooth in the car, but each time the ignition is turned off the phone loses connection with the bluetooth and I have to select the device again.

Bluetooth for iPhone 6 still won't pair with my car after iOS 8.1 update
So frustrated. I assumed that Apple knew about the problem and that iOS 8.1 would fix what is clearly a very common/widespread issue. Bluetooth is not exactly a new technology... how is it that Apple creates a highly advanced phone, but it can't make a 10-15 years-old technology work?
I never had any issues with my 5S, but my iPhone 6 has not been able to pair with the Bluetooth in my 2011 Mini Cooper since the day I got it (no phone or BT audio). The 8.1 update has had zero effect on the sequence of events that occur when I try to pair my phone. The car has no problem recognizing the phone, and I can see the car listed under Bluetooth devices, and when I select the car from the list of devices on the phone, the screen to enter the pairing code comes up on my car display. The problem is that the phone never gives me the code to enter into the car display.
I have tried all the "tricks" people have used to get their BT to work (deleting all phones from car, resetting all phone settings, renaming the phone, etc). Nothing works for me. I really don't want to have to get rid of my 6, but since Apple has never publicly acknowledged the problem, I have no way of knowing if this is ever going to be fixed.
Really disappointed in you Apple. This is my 3rd iPhone, and you're about to lose a loyal customer if you don't get this sorted out very soon.The same problem here. iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.2 and bmw 328i 2013 with latest Bluetooth update doesn't pair. The phone will see the car in bluetooh settings but fails to connect. Based on apple tech support I did the following:
1. powered thr phone down and back on- no help
2. Removed all other phones from iDrive- no help
3. Tried with wi if off - no help
4. Reset network settings- no help
5. Restored my phone entirely to factory settings- no help
The phone can pair to other Bluetooth devices and the car can pair with iphone 4 running iOS 7 no problem. my wife's iphone 6 won't pair with my car either.
I sure hope apple is still working to correct this! -

I have a similar problem. I restored my iPhone 5 to the latest available OS. After completing the process the phone never restarted. The phone was fully charged when I restored it but now refuses to charge past the red battery icon. I have been able to get the phone in UFD mode several times and have been able to load the new OS on the phone. The Apple logo does come on and the software fully loads. iTunes tells me the phone will restart but never does. I left it to charge all night but it never appeared to load the battery. This morning I went to the Grand Central Terminal apple store for help. A woman at the store plugged the phone in but it never charged. She absolutely refused to believe that I got my phone in UFD mode and loaded any software on. I don't think it is a battery issue. The only solution I was given was to buy a new phone. Repairing it was out of the question. At this point the phone is completely useless. Thanks in advance for the help.
