Hello. I just purchased a skype online number today for the usa. paid and complete. however, when you dial it from the usa (or anywhere) you get a constant busy signal. why? how to make the on-line number work? this happens whether i am online or 'offline' skype status. thank you. harlowru
An Online Number is to receive calls. To make calls you need Credits or a subscription.

You can install it on two computers simultaneously, so uninstalling is not needed if it's the only other installation.

I have a new laptop and I am trying to download CS3. The site on adobe gives an error message and the one I tried from this forum downloaded CS3 extended, so my serial number does not work. A.MDoes anyone know how to complain to Skype? I paid $30 for a Skype number, which has never worked. Everytime people call me they are directed to a voice mail. And it's not because my Skype is not turned on. It is!! Just to make sure that the problem was not at the end of my callers, I did a little experiement and called my Skype number (after turning on the iphone skype app), but got the same result as others -- a voice mail recording. It is very frustrating because there is no recourse. Skype is taking us for a ride. It's a scam.

I have had a Skype online telephone number for over two years. However, within the last two months, I have been having a similar problem as SteveCl, as when someone calls my Skype telephone number my Skype does not ring intermittently.
In addition, I use Google Voice, which allows someone to call my Google Voice telephone number, which will then automatically ring all of the telephones that I have associated with this service. For example, if someone calls my Google Voice number, my landline, cell phone, MagicJack, and Skype telephone lines (should) ring. My landline, cell phone, and MagicJack all ring consistently when someone calls my Google Voice telephone number. However, Skype rings intermittently, at least in the last two months.
Until recently, my Skype online number rang consistently when someone called it. This problem has only manifested itself within the last two months. Making the problem even more puzzling is that sometimes my Skype online number will ring through while other times it will not. For example, on March 24, 2012, it worked; however, on March 25, it does not work. Sometimes Skype will not ring through at 3 p.m. but will ring through at 3:30 p.m.; as I said, this is very intermittent. I have the most recent version of the Skype software installed. Skype is configured to allow calls to my Skype number from anyone. I have not changed this setting.
I can use Skype to call out to telephone numbers or other Skype users without a problem. In addition, I have not noticed any problems when Skype users call me; Skype on my ends rings through in this case. Skype-to-telephone and Skype-to-Skype calls are usually good quality, so my Internet connection should not be influencing this issue.
I would also like to contact Skype directly about this issue. If anyone knows how, please let me know. -

I know how to use about:config & have had the usual problems with newtab page tiles but this is more like a bug- using 33.0.1. Doesn't show tiles icon in top right corner just shows a gear that is used to hide the empty tiles that I can't fill with sites. First it would only show 2 rows of 4 columns even though I had it set to 5 & 6 then few days later for no reason they went empty with a serrated line around the tiles & can't drag from the bookmarks---- really bloody annoying!!!!!!! Possibly a setting in the about:config but i can't fig it out?Reset Firefox to its default state

Also, you can only use it on two computers if they belong to the same person, are used only by that one person, and are not used at the same time. To install on two computers for two people needs two licenses. Adobe sell volume licenses, but do not sell an "all the computers in the office" license.

I've added a second in-design to my second laptop but the serial number does not work. What do I do?
Please confirm if the Indesign that you have is a perpetual license or a part of CC.
If it is a part of CC then serial number is not required. Then you can follow http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html
If it is a perpetual license then let us know the exact error that you are recurring.

Our online number is not working when trying to call from Telia mobile phones in denmark. I have checked with Telia in Denmark and they tell us that the problem is a "prefix" that is set wrong from SKYPE's side?
Could someone at skype please help get this fixed, as some of our customers can not call us.

Online number does not appear as caller ID for out...
I have a Skype Premium account and an Online Number based in Stockholm, Sweden.
I have verified the Caller ID for my account is set for the Online Number starting with +468.
When I call my mobile phone (Swedish mobile operator), the ID appears as "Unknown".
When I call the Online Number from my mobile phone, the calling number is shown correctly.

Log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site, using the "Account" link at the top of this page. Once you log in, you will see Caller ID settings. If your number is from one of the countries whose numbers can be used as Caller ID (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), you should be able to select it and save that for your Caller ID setting. If your number is from some other country, it can't be used as Caller ID when calling phones from Skype - and you would need to use a mobile number (except those from Japan or Mexico) that has gone through the two-step SMS verification process from Skype.

My new ipod classic does not work anymore! The music stopped and the display is dead. What now, besides calling support? Useless to say my PC didn't recognize the Ipod anymore either.
Anton, I wish I could help. I had an old iPod Classic (60 KB) as a gift but it went dead, I dropped it a few times accidentally, and it sat carefully saved until I had sufficient resources, energy and time to get the matter addressed. In my case, I actually took the thing (after making sure it was charged) to an Apple store and one of the geniuses at the genius bar at the back of the store took it and did a few things (unseen and un-noted) with his fingers and handed it to me with a sly smile. Voila, the thing was functional. I got a re-functionalized iTunes account and store access when I bought my iMac. I did lose a few tunes along the way because it didn't recognize my new iMac as the source (my old dead PC laptop), but I have a more functional memory than the iPod and recovered them all in other ways. The whole thing is humming better than ever. At over 11 gb full, I have 4.2 days worth of portable listening. Be patient; it took me four years to get musical nirvana in a pocket, but you'll get there faster. Call support.

When I am on a Youtube video that is running and I want to switch to another tab, the Ctrl+<tab number> does not work, is that intended functionality?
This can happen when the video player (Flash plugin) has the focus.
In that case the plugin consumes all the key presses.
You will have to click with the mouse elsewhere on the page or in the user interface to make keyboard shortcuts work. -
Aperture serial number does not work
I just got a Mac Book Air, my Aperture Serial number does not work. it tells me it is not correct. How can I use my software now?
First how did you purchase Aperture and how did you install it on the Air? As the Air does not have a DVD drive it would help to know how you got the app onto it.
Start with Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers and see if that helps.
There is also Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers if you're not able to get your serial number working. -

On my imac it works fine with the same accountsMy mail sounds are all screwed up. I hear the plane fly when I send an email but when I receive mail, no sound. I have rules set up which worked in Tiger. One rule is for mail to play a message "You have a message from "John Doe" when I receive an email from "John Doe" but it only plays when I send "John Doe" and email. Assbackwards.
Sometimes when reading new mail, it just disappears. I have to click on it again. I find this version of email to be very flaky!
