My newest version of Pages won't open previous saved documents. It keeps saying this version not supported please update, but it already is. Please help.
My previously saved documents in Pages will not open. When I click on one of the documents it is saying, "you need a newer version of Pages to open this document. You can download the latest version of Pages from the Apps Store, but when I click on the apps store, it states that is installed and running the current version. Help, I can't open any of my saved documents.
The problem is that you have both versions of pages on your computer - pages 09 is in the dock with the old ink pot icon - pages version 5 (orange pen and paper icon) is in your applications folder. Delete your pages 09 icon from your dock by dragging it upwards in a puff of smoke - and drag the pages 05 icon from the applications folder to your dock and use that in future. This fixed it for me.
I presume I can uninstall pages 09 now. You need to do the same with numbers and keynote.

Sydneybling it does sound like your security software is interfering with the process of installing and utilizing your Adobe Creative applications. Hello, I am stressing out!! I have downloaded the DNG converter and whenever I try to click on the folder to convert it, it says no items match you're search, I can view the pictures in my desktop just not with the converter. I use windows 8 PC and the file type I'm trying to convert is CR2

I am running Yosemite 10.1 and using Pages 5.2. I created a very long handbook document a few day ago and when I try to open it I get "it cannot be opened." HELP!
You need to update Pages v5.2 to v5.5 from the OS X App Store (Updates). The latter version is required on Yosemite. Once you have done this application update, reopen your document with Pages v5.5.

That file is not there. Instead the only two similar choices are:

My concern is I accidentally deleted something associated with the application; I was trying to free up some space on my Mac. I have over 10,000 photos in my iPhoto!! I should figure out how to back up my photos, assuming I can regain access to them.... Why will iPhoto not open....it just spins then gives me this lengthy problem report.

Drag the resulting zip file to your Desktop (as a backup)
Go to your System Preferences and choose iCloud
Turn OFF the iCloud Photos option
Go back to Library > Application Support and DELETE the iLifeAssetManagement folder
Now, in System Preferences, turn the iCloud Photos option ON
iPhoto should now be able to launch. Give it enough time to re-download your Photo Stream content. if you are missing any of your My Photo Stream photos (more than 30 days old), unzip the sub folder on your desktop and drag that into iPhoto. -

For your Mail issue, try the following:
- Go to Software Update to apply the new update for Mail. Not sure, but there may be bug fixes in the new version.
- Go to Disk Utility (In Applications, Utilities) and run a Permissions Repair. Then do a restart of your computer. -

Delete the current copy from your library, Don't hide from iTunes in the Cloud if prompted. Close iTunes, Reopen. Look in iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer, download if available, otherwise go to your account and use the "report a problem" links to contact the iTunes store support team and explain the problem.
