My nicrophone volume is not hard enough when I aM USING skype

On the hpg62 I cannot hear my recording from the Microphone when I play it back, testing skype. Can somebody help?

Thank you! Resetting resolved the issue with terrible sound when trying to use skype. Sounds much better!
I am not sure what all changed when reset was applied to settings --- assume it defaults back to basic settings. I have no idea what I had customized, so will slowly figure out. I have noticed several things. So far I had to add back my wallpaper and reenter password to get back on my wi-fi.
At least SKYPE is now audible.

Have you plugged the USB cable into the computer also as the brightness is controlled over USB. If this does not work, you would need the Apple Display Driver for the version of Windows that you are using. The display driver is part of BootCamp software that you may be able to find online

We are using Citrix Xenapp 6.5 with roaming profile and IE9.
I have tried to upgrade to IE10 and IE11 on a test Xenapp server, when we log off Windows and log back on again any website settings stored in cookies were lost.
The cookies is stored in the roaming part of the profile. New in IE10 is the webcache file database that keeps track of cookie stored in the profile
AppData\Local folder gets deleted when you log off, if you have a roaming profile, and when you log on again all coockies are rewritten. Same problem with IE11.

Sign in problems when trying to use Skype WiFi

I have a tablet that I am trying to connect to Skype WiFi and keep getting looped around to the sign-in screen. It tells me "You're already on line", but I can't do anything after that. I just have the "Learn More" button. I have unstalled and installed Skype WiFi twice and it still will not open. None of your instructions or guide are helping me.

If your dock is connected to an amplifier/speaker system try this:
With your phone sitting in the dock, try to increase the volume, using the volume control buttons of the phone. Set it to max and you should have more sound coming out of your speakers.

Says "Volume can not be found" when I click my Ipod in Finder.

Songs not loud enough when exported to disk.

I exported my songs I recently recorded as mp3's. I uploaded them to Mypace, and unlike previous recorded in GB, they were much softer. I have no idea what's causing the problem. Just to show you all, here's my page.
The two I uploaded today are Drum Demo and Samba Sample. The others were uploaded a pretty long time ago.

Why does my screensaver not kick in when I am using Firefox?

I have a new pc, a pavilion using windows 7. I have set my screensaver to engage after 2 minutes and it does when I am using explorer, but it does not when I use firefox. Is there something in browser settings that I need to change? If so, how do I do that?

Custom colors in FrameMaker 10 not being maintained when printing PDF using Distiller/Professional X

Hello all,
I am working my first tech writing job that requires printed material instead of just PDFs, and I am having problems with the logo colors when it comes to printing them.
I created the two color definitions in FrameMaker 10 (using colors Pantone 485 CVC and Pantone 281 CVC). These colors are used for diagram callouts and doc titles.
I recently upgraded to Distiller X and Acrobat Professional X, thinking that maybe the older versions just didn't support those colors, and I am still getting the same result. Instead of printing the colors I added, the PDF is printed with the default red and blue. FrameMaker is using the CMYK model.
I have a feeling that I just need to adjust some settings, but I don't know whether to adjust Distiller, Acrobat, or FrameMaker. Anyone else have issues when trying to use their company's colors? Any ideas on what might work?

I'm not even sure what printer we use since we send the PDFs out to be printed on a glossy paper (I'm new to the position so I don't have all the details yet). All I use is my Adobe PDF printer. I'm also not using FileMaker, I'm using FrameMaker since I am producing manuals that will be printed, not marketing material or anything with a lot of images. I am just trying to get the logo colors to appear correctly in the PDF so that when it does get printed off-site, the Pantone colors are seen and not the default in the final product. I will post this in the FrameMaker forum as well.

Volume is not high enough on my Nano

I bought my first Ipod Nano 3rd Generation 3 years ago in USA. Everything went perfect, Im fine with volume, capacity, everything is fine.
But now I got the new Ipod Nano 6th Generation in The Czech Republic/Europe.
I needed a bigger capacity and so far 8Gb is enough for me but Im confused. The problem is the VOLUME IS SO QUIET ! Even on the "highest" its still not enough loud for me. Even when the volume limit is "the highest" (off).
Well I read some forums, it might be because of some kind of "European Volume Regulation Law". I really dont know what else to do.
I also read there might be some programs for these Ipod where you can boost your Ipod volume to the maximum, I mean actually, over the maximum. But so far they are probably not updated for these new 6th Generation Ipod Nanos.
Any ideas? I feel miserable

I'll try to break it down quickly. I have a 2011 11" MBA and I am using GarageBand.
I use the Rocksmith jack to usb cable to play guitar and record it too, so far so good, no problem.
So I wondered, can I make it work with a microphone? As I work on a electronic shop I had everything to test it on the latest 27" iMac. For the test I used a rocksmith cable, a jack 1/4 coupler, a male jack 1/4 to male XLR cable, and a shure PG48 microphone.
I just had to put the recording level higher and everything was working just fine, great volume, great quality, perfect. So I bought all those cable that I was missing.
Arrived at home, same cable, this time with the MBA 2011 and a Shure PG 58 instead. Same setting, and the volume is very low. I have to litteraly stick my mouth on the microphone to have a decent level of sound (and have to speak really loud too !). I've checked on the macbook setting, everything was to the maximum, tried with a Shure SM57 to see if it would work, same result.
What is the problem? Is it the soundcard? Or the microphone? (That'd be weird tho') Did I forgot anything? It's weird because the guitar works just fine...

I´m using same config, MBA rocksmith cable and Mic powered by a (singleAA baterry) Ive tried recording in Quicktime (more or less noise, good volume), audacity(way too low volume) SoundtrackPro (same low volume), GARAGEBAND (lot better volume and very decent recording, great presets and much better export options!
when you listen your recording on garageband it will sound LOW volume, im using mac headphones almost at max vol, maybe it lowers the volume so there is no feedback,... BUT whe you export to file and open it on Soundtrack or quicktime VOALA! normal voice recording is hitting 0dbs, so that gives me chance to lower down to -12dbs after doing my edits.
Use GARAGEBAND to recrod voice, or any other intrument, works great with Rocksmith USB cable, mic does require use of AA battery.
Busting my head with this for hrs until I tried Garageband.

Am setting accessoryType property to UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisclosureButton on my UITableCell which is working fine except the clickable area is tiny and can only be selected if you sharpen your finger to a fine point. Any idea how to make it bigger ?
