After some slight water damage my nokia 106 will only go onto demo mode?

Take it to a store they might be able to help. If not it's a new device that you'll need
Dont say anything about water damage though.

Are you using this digitizer with NI VideoMaster? if not you should probably post this in the Digitizer forums. That said I would suggest using the self calibrate function in MAX for this device rather than the LabVIEW API method just so that you can rule out any errors in correctly configuring the digitizer for self cal in LabVIEW. Also you should ensure that all inputs are disconnected before performing a self cal. If this still results in an error in calibration you could refer to the following document or arrange to return the digitizer to NI for external calibration.

Boot from your install disk and when you reach the Install screen choose Change Password from the Utilities menu.

What do you mean by 'I had two email accounts on mobile me'?
Did you have two separate individual MobileMe accounts? Each needs to be migrated separately; one can be signed into in System Preferences>iCloud and the other in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.
Did you have a Family Pack with subaccount(s), or 'email only' accounts attached to a main account? Again, each sub-account/email-only account needs to be migrated separately, will become a full separate iCloud account and they can be signed into as above.
Did you have email aliases? These should be transferred along with the account. They are not separate accounts, and do not appear as such in Mail; messages to them appear in the iCloud inbox alongside messages to the main address.

Minor Water Damage

The trackpad on my phone is working, but often only when I hold down alt, and when im on the bbm menu I cannot scroll onto specific chats. So, i found out I must have had water damage but I have not done anything serious to it - hence why the water indicators on my blackberry and on the battery are still completely white. So is there anything i can do to fix the tracker pad? Or do I still have to leave it to dry for a few days?

There is also a possibility that the board that contains the power port was affected by the spill.
It would have been better to have allowed the MBP to dry for a minimum of 72 hours before putting power to it. It's still possible that the board still has some moisture on it which is causing it to malfunction. It's possible that once the board has fully dried out, it will work again. If not, it will need to be replaced.
Water is generally the least harmful spill because it does not contain acids or sugars.
To test the charger, simply try one that is known to be good. Or test yours on another Mac. I imagine that the charger is OK, but if the tip got wet, it needs to dry thoroughly.
Look in the System Profiler and see what it has to say about the health of your battery. If it says normal, the battery is likely OK.
It sounds like there hasn't been enough time for anything to actually corrode, but lingering moisture could be causing your problems.

IPod Touch with minor water damage

Hi all,
I was at the beach on a typical windy day in England, I was walking on the pier when a wave crashes over on to the pier and get my jeans wet. My iPod Touch was in my pocket and it wasn't even submerged. So I got back (I'm in a hotel so bag of rice trick) and half the touch screen was unreasonsive. I left it near by a warm place for 2 hours and I tried again, the second half worked tempremental. So I went to asleep thinking maybe the water would have gone over noght. It hadn't, it's even worse. The lockbutton works only maybe 20% of the time and also it does things on it's on accord like poer to switch off, locks by itself etc. Its a second gen, I'm going to be back home this afternoon, so is it too late to do the water in the bag trick or should I just pay £130 for a 4th gen.

I would opt for the replacement. Seawater causes corrosion of like switch contacts and the dock connector and causes other damage that drying will not fix.

Re-booted/restored water damaged iphone 5s, will not unlock or turn off.

my mom recently had dropped her phone in the toilet (she didn't use it yet) and she quickly took it out of the water. We then put in rice overnight, and i rebooted it and restored it after a couple of hours this morning. But now the screen isn't responding to unlocking it or even letting me turn it off. I know that going to my phone service provider is a option one and they can give her a new phone, but is there another way to fix it before going to my service provider?
fyi, my mom has had her phone for two weeks, so the phone is still brand new...

There are third-party firms that do repairs on iDevices, and there are places where you can order parts to DIY if you feel up to the task:
1. iResq or Google for others.

My repaired water damaged macbook pro has no audio with the icon greyed out. i tried all the suggestions but nothing seems to work. however, on my external clone, the output does work. any ideas about this?

I tried reseting the pram, reinstalling the software, plugging the headphone jack in and out, deleting playlist but nothing works. on the external clone, the output works with noise but still no input device.
can i use a sound card instead?

If you just had the system repaired for water damage what did they replace? If it was the Logic board then all parts should work and if they don't, like the sound, then they didn't fix it correctly and you should take it back to them for a proper fix.

Water Damage - Phone wouldn't turn off untill the battery died?

Hello, I'm looking for advice about the water damage my phone suffered today after a swim with it. I checked the flaps were closed, but one was apparently wedged ever so slightly open by a rogue broken peice of plastic, apparently not from the phone. In any case water got in, and the phone started to shoot randomly from one task to another, calling one of my friends at one point, and it began to over heat, so I panicked and dried it as quickly as possible, and put it away. When I came to use the phone not too much later, I noticed the screen was especially dim and the phone was still warm-ish. I tried to perform tasks with the phone but for some reason the camera kept opening and making a start-up noise, pretty much any time I tried to type or to open another app. Later on it got to the point where if I pressed the power button to lock the phone, the camera would open. I couldn't turn it off, anytime or way I tried, it just went straight to the camera. I tried resetting the phone by holding the power button and the volume up button, and it did restart, but the problem persisted. The last stage was a refusal to be on anything but the camera. I touched the home screen button, it would go to the homescreen button for a second or so, then go back to the camera. All the while it was getting hot again, so I kept it as cool as I could. All I could do was wait for the battery to run out and hope that it wouldn't expload... I haven't tried charging it or turning it on again as I figured if there is water in it then it would be best to leave it off, so I'm hoping that the damage isn't too severe. I didn't get insurance for it as I never thought I would damage it, and up until now I haven't, no cracks, no spills or anything, but this is clearly my fault, so I was only wondering if there was anything I could do to repair it without having to pay off the rest of my contract or pay for a repair or something. Water damage to my iPhone 5s and now the battery drains quickly

My water bottle leaked through my bag and got into my phone, when I discovered this I have no idea how long it had been sitting in water for. It wouldnt turn on so I immediately put it in rice in a snap lock bag. After a few hours it turned on again and all seemed to be fine but now the battery drains very quickly, even when no apps are open.
I only got the phone a few weeks ago. Is this something that will be cheap to fix by apple or am I better off trying to do it myself?

Also my finger print thing doesnt work but I can live without that, but i cant live withouth a battery

OK, so no Acrobat 8 after all (so sorry about that hard drive failure, that's no fun at all!). But all hope is not lost.
I think this what needs to happen:
Go to www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html and click Try It Now.
Click Download Now.
After the file has downloaded, double-click the installer file that you downloaded to install Acrobat XI.
Open your PDF your newly installed copy of Acrobat XI.
Follow the steps in the video that I linked to in a previous post.
Note that Acrobat and Reader offer different functionally, so the copy of Reader that you have won't do what you're after.
