My phone was low on battery and went dead ...i plugged in the mobile 2 hrs. ago but still the phone has not switched on.
I have important data ...and i need to use the phone!!!!!
I didnt expect this from Nokia!!..trusted this brand!

Do you atleast get the Battery charging Icon in the display ?
Anyway, try a Soft Reset : Press Power + Volume(down) keys until the phone vibrates (about 8-10 seconds)

Phone has frozen and will not switch on

Twitter was not working so I unistalled it from Iphone. Reinstalled it but the phone then froze. Turned phone off but now it will not switch back on and is frozen on the apple screen. Help

Connect iPhone to Wall Charger and Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart. Usually takes less than 20 seconds time of holding both buttons.
If this does not work you may need to Restore the iPhone Firmware. If you decide to Restore the Firmware, connect iPhone to computer with iTunes open, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone is recognized in Recovery Mode, Restore the Firmware. Again usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

Onboard/discrete graphics not switching properly

I have a 2010 15" MBP i7, and I very rarely can get the discrete graphics to engage. Even when using graphics-intensive processes the MBP would continue to use the intel board. I just installed gfxCardStatus, which does allow me to trigger onboard/discrete whenever I want (or power-dependent), but I'd like to know if anyone else has discovered their MBP not switching, and if they were able to remedy it without third-party software...

I believe so long as the video card you are getting supports this, it is possible. I have never done it myself, but I seem to remember reading about it as part of crossfire.

Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. You might need to hold the buttons for as long as a minute.

If it is only 5 days old, take it back to where you bought it

First plug it in to charge for 10 - 15 minutes and see if it will turn on.

You can try to press the home button and power button and hold them for around 15-20 seconds. This will perform a soft reset similar to pulling the battery. If that doesn't help you may need to restore it.
