not possible to update your software offline. i know that in current Nokia Suite and the older Nokia Software Updater, if your installation file download is interrupted (by Internet cutting out for example), then it will save what has been downloaded already and only download the remaining parts of the file.
other than that, your other option is to take your phone to a Nokia Care point and get them to carry out the software update for you.

Try booting in "safe mode". If that stops the restarts, launch the Console utility and look through the categories in the column on the left for crash reports or kernel panic logs.

after a lot of research finally updated to fp1 successfully .update is not available here via nokia suite.
after tagging this post i downloaded the update again and faced the same problem as i said. i removed the sim card and memory card. then i switched the power button and surprisingly my phone started to take update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont know how, but it took update. enjoying it. this is just more than ossum and apps are working perfectly except x-plore.

Mac Pro Mid 2010 keeps restarting after installing OSX Mavericks

my Mac Pro Mid 2010 started quitting and restarting after installing the Mavericks OSX. I was thinking about wiping out the drive and reinstalling OS X Mountain Lion but thought I should see if anyone else is experiencing these issues before going that route.
It just intermittently restarts and it tries to restart multiple times before it will actually start up again. It's not issuing a crash report. It just quits out and restarts. It started doing this just at initial startup. It now will quit and restart at any given time and it will take multiple times attempting to start before it actually starts up. I've even had to shut it down because it would going through that startup sequence without starting. No perceivable pattern as to why this is occurring. No specific programs that it occurs in. The only thing I know for certain is that it started happening after installing Mavericks OSX – OSX Mountain Lion was fine. I also made sure to unistall Mountain Lion before installing Mavericks with those potential issues of trying to install one operating system over another. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Specs for Mac Pro Mid 2010:
- 2 x 2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
- 14 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC
- ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB
- OS X 10.9.2

I followed your instructions. I have information for the BOOT_TIME and for SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS sections. I've included all within one post with heading separators between the two sections. I wasn't sure if you needed this posted as two separate posts or not. If this isn't correct, please let me know and I'll do again. Hopefully I didn't pull too much content for the BOOT_TIME section. I was trying to search for enough diverse content that would clearly represent what might be occurring. It was also challenging to choose content for the BOOT_TIME section though because there was no time-stamped content close to the time of BOOT_TIME time stamp. The last time I restarted my system was hours before I attempted your exercise. And, I haven't experienced "crashing" more than it just automatically restarts in the middle of things. MacBook Air won't restart after installing Mavericks

My MacBook Air (v Fall 2011) won't restart after installing Mavericks. I have done the instal several times, done the disk repair, I have had 2 visits to the local Apple store where they installed Mavericks with their software only to return home and have it fail again. Does anyone know of issues with the SSD or memory?
Next visit to the Apple store is Tuesday morning 12-17-13. Anywthing that can help us would be appreciated. Tks David

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

Computer automatically restarting after installing iPOD

I installed my iPOD yesterday and since I did, my computer restarts after I close my browser windows. No matter what time I go on any program, after I am done doing whatever, internet, itunes, my documents, whatever, it always restarts. Whats going on? Also before I installed ipod, it would charge no problem. Now it only charges when updating files. Called tech support, no help at all. I have a 1.1 usb port. Please help. I am very disapointed. Also I have 30GB ipod.

i would recommend a usb 2 card they dont cost to much. this will more than likely be the cause of your problem

Windows will not restart after install of itunes & quicktime, what to do?

I installed itunes and quicktime from the disc provided. After install the installer asked to restart the computer and I clicked yes. It has not booted since. Windows 2000 Pro locks up about 75% through process. I did hear the speakers activate then nothing. I have attempted a hard boot and restart in safe mode without success. My emergency disk did not work. Where should I go next?

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button. (if available on your site, MS doesnt have this)
*Please upload them to a file sharing service like Skydrive or"Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.
Please also run MSinfo32 and upload the output as well.

Must restart after installing firefox and kde...WHY????

Every time I set up an arch box, when I install firefox or kde (probably others) I must restart the computer before I can even execute them. This is mighty inconvenient and un-linux-like, I noticed that during the bootup, the Updating Shared Library Links takes a little longer after installing firefox or kde, is there a command I can run that does this after installing firefox or kde that dosen't require me to restart?

I wish pacman or the .install files would check to see if /opt/foo, the path that the package was just installed to, is in $PATH and automatically source /etc/profile if it's not. I'm pretty sure most do - however, that only sources it for root, not the user running - I have no idea, off the top of my head, if this works correctly under sudo.
However, the important part is that your WM/DE is running under a totally different environment setup, and the 'export' stuff does not reach it.
I can't really think of a good way to get around it - I know it's rather irritating to some people. I wonder if adding something like "/opt/*/bin" to the PATH by default would work... I don't think it globs properly though...

IMac won't restart after installing OS X 10.6

All I get after installing Mac OSX 10.6 Lion, is a spinning wheel of death. What is going on that it won't restart properly?

Nevermind, I have found a work around. Have to start in "safe mode" then the Setup Assistant will launch properly and the Software Update also works properly.
On to Lion & 10.8!

Won't restart after installing updates

Hi everyone,
I downloaded the 10.5.2 upgrade through the software updater, and my computer crashed during installation.
When I tried to restart it, it got stuck on the grey apple logo screen, with the progress cycle spinning. It stays stuck like this for an hour.
I tried safe mode restart then (with the shift key help down), and that didn't help anything. Is there anything else I can try?

I have had the same problem after installing the update. The system hang at this position with all fans running for which I have shut down the computer each time but with the same outcome after new booting. Lastly, I booted holding the C key and this worked. Might be a coincidence, worth a try.

Mac stuck restarting after installing Yosemite

My 2011 MBP has been stuck "restarting" for about an hour now after installing Yosemite. The striped loading bar is grey and stationary but the charcoal circle is spinning underneath. Any suggestions? Do I leave it run overnight and call support in the morning? Thankfully this happened after Midterms, but I'm afraid I'll lose everything if I turn it off. (I decided to upgrade on a whim...I know...and the last backup is from the beginning of the summer. :/ )

Same thing happened to me - except, of course, that I made a back-up before installing Yosemite. I could not get my machine to boot - it would get stuck exactly the same way as yours. I tried for hours - and nothing...
I finally wiped my HD and used time machine to install my latest back-up. Without such a back-up, I don't know what options you have. Your best bet is probably this:
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
