I was updating my macbook pro and it restarted but didn't boot up. It made it to the gray apple screen with a spinning wheel underneath it. What do I do?
This was happening to mine as well and I had to take it in a few times and they had to wipe it completely. If your computer is more that 5 years old, it may be that it is time for a new one. I suggest taking it in so they can diagnose it!

Wireless-Card doesn't not work with WPA/WPA2 but with WEP [Solved]
Hello I have a MacBook (late 2007) with a wireless-card from Broadcam, the card works with WEP and the classic configuration over rc.conf very well. But I can't get the card running with WPA and the net network-profiles.

Can I set here the WPA/WPA2-Key also? Why here ESSID? Do I need still a configuration in wpa_supplicant.conf?

i plugged in my 18 month old iPhone to charge it, using the cable that came with it and that I have used regularly all along. I got a warning on my phone screen saying the cable is not certified and may not work properly with my iPhone. Why?
If you updated iPhone to iOS7, it now checks for real Apple Lightning Cable. Your cable may not be Apple, or someone swapped another cable with yours. Make sure the cable end is clean, take a clean dry toothbrush and carefully clean charging port on the iPhone.

Nokia N8 "Phone Will Restart" but didn't
Hey,
I got my phone yesterday and it has been absolutely brilliant until now. I unlocked my phone to send a message and on the screen it displayed "Phone Will Restart". I thought nothing of it and clicked 'Ok'. It turned off and back on and just sat with the white screen and Nokia on it, I left it for 10 mins and nothing changed, I held the power button to turn it off and retry but I got the same white screen.
What can I do?
P.S. The phone is brand new but the sim card & memory card are 6 years old Whether that has any effect.If you want to be sure to have your personal information destroyed, you should try a hard reset before you turn it in.
If I remember correctly, hard reset for N8 is
1. turn it off
2. hold the menu, camera and - keys
3. Turn it on (but do not let go of the three keys)
4. let the three keys go only when you see the country selection screen.

The cable only imported the photos and doesn't read the videos. Am I not seeing something on my iPad mini?
Do those videos follow the naming convention? To be seen all files must have the 8 character name, for example VID_4854.mp4
If they don't follow the naming convention they won't be seen. They also need to be a format that the iPad will play. -
The latest update for Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.3 does not update. Keeps asking for Restart but no update.
Yup, I'm experiencing the exact same thing.
I (and many others) are experiencing the same or similar issues with the 10.8.3 update.
I've sent an response to Apple but have not yet received anything back (yet). -
My MacBook Pro 13 inch (I've had it for about a year and a half) has started crashing randomly. It happens about once a week and it will happen when I'm in the middle of either watching a video, typing a paper, playing a game, etc. The computer clicks loudly and the screen becomes a series of green and white lines. It works fine upon restart, but it's still annoying whenever it happens. What causes this? Is it fixable?
The image suggests an issue with the graphics board.
The issue may happen more when your machine is generating additional heat, as when you're watching or processing video, or gaming. I can't say for certain, of course, but certain things will reduce the chance of the problem recurring:
1. Keep your machine as cool as possible. When there's additional heat, turn up the fan, or use an app like HD Fan Control to reduce the heat. Use your computer the way you see fit, but be conscious of heat.
2. Back up on a regular basis. Logic board problems can lead to more serious issues down the line, so backing up is a good way of safeguarding your data.
3. Look up "Logic Board Woes" on Google for a comprehensive discussion of the issue. -

Computer has Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Firefox has run fine for over a year on this computer. Nothing was changed or updated except Windows update shows that it installed updates on Aug 19. I had computer off for week before because out of town, came back and started on Aug 18, but Firefox worked on that day. Did not use FF again till today. Today on Aug 22nd, firefox will not start, shortcut icon has changed to program not there. Exe in folder when clicked brings up error message say the version of this file is not compatible with version of Windows I am running. Firefox exe shows created Aug 20. I suspect update, either Windows or FF but lean towards windows, happened that broke things. I notice IE 10 updates, .NET framework updates and malicious software removal tool updates were installed. I have tried restarting computer, did not fix. Tried to run as admin, didn't work. I do not want to uninstall FF unless have to because of all the stuff I have in there, bookmarks, last pass passwords, etc.
