My Notes are missing since upgrading to iOS 6. I don´t delete anything. Can it have relation with iCloud?

I have reached the same conclusion in the mean time. I have done a bit of investgation in to other grahics cards and am seeing some that show SPDIF connections from the card to the mother board. I was not familar with SPDIF but it did a little bit of sluething. It is of course a digitally enconded voice. I am guessing that in that case the mother board ( assuming it supports this hardware option) would use this output and be able to translate that digital audio to its other audio outputs. That is a lot of guessing of course. I think my "solution" might be a whole new desktop - a rather drastic course of action! I was in the proceess of getting ready to upgrade this machine anyway with a new graphics card (which I will now return), go to Win 7, and maybe even a new digital TV reciever, and I don't want to throw good money after bad anyway.

Notes in the Notes app are missing after upgrade to iOS 8

I upgraded my iPhone 5s to iOS 8. After the upgrade, all of the notes stored in the Notes app are missing. The notes were not associated with an email address, as I believe they were stored on the "On my iPhone" account. I also tried restoring the phone from a backup prior to the upgrade, but that did not restore the notes. To be clear, the notes app is there, but the notes inside it are missing. Solutions?

spotlight can now be found by swiping down anywhere on the screen below the first row of icons.
you can also go to settings/general/reset/reset home screen

Presets are missing since upgrading to Lightroom 5

Since upgrading to Lightroom 5 a number of Adobe Presets I purchased are no longer available. All of my HDR, Tilt Shift, Dragon as well as other presets are not available within the appliction even though they are still in the Preset folder.
How do I get these back?

Ipad will not activate 3G since upgrading to IOS 8.02

since upgrading my Ipad 2 to IOS 8.02 yesterday, the 3G will not work....I have restored the Ipad but the 3G is still not working....this is an educational/school issued Ipad with 3G via E-rate...

GGo into the 3G connection and put the password back in or unconnect and reconnect to it, you can turn the wifi off on the iPad also. Maybe forget the connection and reconnect when your in range, if you have the I do set it up again. The first thing I would try is putting the password in again just to be sure it is correct, that will force it to check the connection.
when doing something like a IOS update not all info gets translated properly so it will not connect, by redoing the password it makes it recheck it.

Iweb Files are Missing since Upgrade Yeasterday

Yesterday, my computer did some automatic upgrades. Now when I open iWeb, it just brings up a blank new template. Where did my previous iWeb file go? In the past, when I opened iWeb, the files were just there! It was published to .Mac, but I cannot seem to figure out how to open the file again in iWeb. What happened? It just seems to be gone!

This problem of the "disappearing domain file" seems to come from updating to V 2.0.2 and not doing a restart.
You need to try a spotlight search for your "missing" domain.sites2 file to see if it has been moved to another location on your hard drive - failing that, do a manual search. Others have been successful with this.
One of the things you have to realize about iWeb is that it doesn't back your files up anywhere. You have to backup the domain.sites2 file yourself and update it every time you make changes.
If anything goes wrong and you don't have an up to date domain file - you're screwed!

I am completly stumped here, Since Upgrading to iOS 5 on my ipad 2 I can no longer access the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab in settings, meaning I can't add my other mail accounts or change settings, and I'm needing to sort this now.
Basically Going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars results in crash to home, I've rebooted, hard reset and returned to factory settings, non of it seems to remedy it, does anyone know of this bug? or does anyone know a work around etc?, I've had a look around altho there are many Mail issues non seem to directly relate to my issue.

I recommend taking it into the store. Sounds to me like you have downloaded an app that has allowed itself to become the "primary" when sending and recieving images.... Apple is seriously dropping the ball!! Just the other day, I downloaded an app called v-downloader... Its an app that allows you to download videos through a 3rd party browser. Well what it did, was automatically place restrictions on my phone... I couldnt send pics, and it removed access to safari, facetime, messages, etc... so maybe try removing any recent app purchases. Also, I would reccomend that you restore your phone. it will redo the update off your computer and come through with less glitches
But I agree, iOS6 has been nothing but problems... I plan on removing the update when I get home

My notes are missing since I accepted to backup to icloud. How do I find them again?

If I follow your thread correctly, you have enabled Notes to back up to icloud, this turns the association OFF with the default account on the ipad through the mail app. Turn Notes OFF in icloud, leave mail ON. then resync with itunes to confirm the settings. Your notes folder will reappear shortly in the mail app under your default email for the cloud, normally me.com or whatever it was before. - Open Mail App tap on accounts and then the .me.com or whatever is the default email with cloud, to see the folder.
Note the following. In the Notes App - notes are stored on your device separately under the App. Any you do in the cloud are then associated with the defailt email for the cloud.
If you turn notes on in the icloud under icloud settings, you lose access to The Notes folder in the cloud, but you are given the option to keep them on your idevice - at least this is how it works on the pad2.
Now note the following. If you have an email address that runs with windows mail or outlook or a PC based email program, and this is also your Apple ID, AND if you have elected to install your default Apple email with the cloud, ie me.com with that PC based email program, you will have a folder for the me.com email address appear in your personal folders within that program on your PC.
If you then turn your icloud setting for notes back ON, the notes written during this joint email association disappear from the folder in the email account on your computer, and they reappear in your Notes folder that will now be back in the cloud. As you switch between the two settings you may find that you suddenly get notes duplicating/go missing, and it becomes very confusing what is from where.
I now take the precaution of appending any notes i make with either Outl for my PC, iC for an icloud made note and just Note at the end of any I make on the pad.
If you change either your .me.com email, or your main default email for your default Apple ID, then you will break these associations and your notes in that association will then disappear.
Remember too, that if you restore from a backup you OVERWRITE what was there before, whereas when you sync you increment the existing backup at the start of the sync.
If you delete a note from the phone App it is gone for good. If you delete from an email associated Notes it will turn up and be retained in the Trash bin. How long it stays there will depend on what Server time constraints you have put on the emptying of the bin in the cloud, and or your default action for the trash bin in your email on your PC.
Similar constraints on whether you can retrieve notes in these scenarios will depend on how your deleted emails, messages and Notes are handled by various web based program you might use such as gmail.
I have found the safe option to be to turn off Notes in Settings icloud on my pad. and instead add my .me.com account direct to my Outlook email, wich is also my default Apple ID email. Using the icloud control panel download from Apple, I have just turned themail option on, and I do not back up to the cloud at all. Syncing achieves everything i need.
Its all very confusing I know, but take the tip on identifying where you make each note and it soon becomes easy to spot the default behaviours as you play with various settings. Remeber to resyc to confirm settings across the cloud and your devices.

I have deleted photos from the cloud in case it is full but to no affect. I use my iPhone in conjunction with an iPad so this is driving me mad. Anyone else have this problem?

No you're not the only one having this problem in fact many people are having it I spoke to Apple support today about it. First it is my opinion the aspect ratio is different on iPhone 4s compared to iPhone 5s, however I really feel it is a software issue. Just to make sure I am having the same problem you are I will describe my issue. I Have confirmed the following: if I Center an object on my iPhone 4s screen and open the picture while I am still in the app (open on the bottom left it)looks fine. But when I open camera roll and open that particular picture it's also fine
Until I scroll left or right it pulls the image to the left side appearing to cut off the left side of the image. After talking to Apple support today and my knowledge with Apple products I strongly suspect this is a software issue. Apple asked me to do a restore as a new phone but I'm not going to go through all that nonsense when I believe it's a software issue and not a hardware issue. So again to recap to answer your question you're not alone, theses sort of things are expected when they rollout a new iOS just hang in there and let's see if they put a patch out for next update.

I do not mean the entire ITunes folder but, rather, the contents of the ITunes folder prior to September 29th. (90% of the media is missing, along with all playlists) The media that remains says it was added on 9/29 although I know most of it was added many months or even years earlier. There are no playlists listed at all, before or after 9/29. (I know for certain that I added non-iTunes purchased songs on 10/6 although I had not created playlists for them)
I have my iTunes folder backed up on both an external drive as well as Time Machine.
I run iTunes off of an ITunes folder on my computer rather than from the external, if that's what you mean about how I have it set up.
Is it OK to drag the entire iTunes folder from the external drive onto my laptop's drive and see if that fixes it?

go to your settings, and first go to Safari and delete your history by scrolling down to "clear history and website data". Then go to the advanced settings and select ""website data". It should show 0 bytes. If not, clear again.
next go to iTunes and App Store in settings, and touch your Apple ID, the select sign out.
AFter you you sign out of your ID, restart your iPad by holding down the power button and home key simultaneously until you see the apple logo after the restart.
when you are powered up, go to iBooks. You should get a message that you need to sign in to sync up your books. Sign in, and that should do it.

If you are having issues with your iPad not showing location information, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
