My Notes are randomly disappearing on IPhone 4

My Notes are randomly disappearing on IPhone 4; is there anyway to retrieve them?

I have a Verizon iPhone 5 and just had a note disappear before my eyes...
I opened the app, was looking at the note, and it simply vanished...the app did not crash, and it is no longer listed in my list of notes...
This is not the first time my notes have gone missing with this new phone...never had this issue with my old iPhone 4...
Frustrating to say the least...

Control-click on the background of the view all pages window and select "Preview Calendar" from the contextual menu.

It could be something with your iCloud. Go to iCloud.com, sign in, and see if your contacts are there. If they are, then try going into Settings > iCloud and turning off Contacts, restart your phone, then turning Contacts back on again. If that doesn't work, delete your iCloud account from your phone, and add your iCloud account back on. If THAT doesn't work, go to settings > reset > reset network settings, reconnect to your wifi network, and that should do it.

Folders inside a share are randomly disappearing

I am having a strange problem with folders randomly disappearing off my server share. Here is my current setup:
XServe running 10.4 connected to 3.5 TB Raid Array via Fiber
Folder inside RAID shared out for client access via AFP and SMB
All clients have automount setup in netinfo.
Clients work fine for about a week, then folders start randomly disappearing. Not files so far, only entire folders. If we try and recreate the folder, it says that the folder already exists, but no one can see it, even if I log in to the server console and access the folders directly on the raid.
I am not very mac savvy, so I am a bit lost as to what I should do next. This would be easier to diagnose if the whole share would become inaccessible, not just pieces.
Anyone have any suggestions?

We just started experience disappearing files. Running Server 10.4.11 (build 8S169). It happens with Autocad files when running Autocad on Parallels. I've been having flaky permission problems on the server, so I am thinking it's time for a (sigh) re-install of the server software.

Vector elements are randomly disappearing when saving a PDF file

I wondered if anyone could help us with this.
We make PDF files from Illustrator all the time to send to our clients for approval. We've found that occasionally random elements of the document will not be embedded within the PDF file.
There seems to be no consistency with this, an outlined word on one side of the artwork will vanish one time, it'll be fine for the next 10 iterations, but then a totally different element will drop off on a different part of the document the 11th time I PDF it.
All seems to be fine within the Illustrator document, layer/item visibilty is ok, overprint settings are correct etc.
I have imported an affected PDF file back into illustrator to see if the element was gone or just not appearing, and they're completely absent from the file.
This seems to be particularly happening with items that are coloured with spot colours or white elements sitting on top of spot colours, but this is not certain.
This problem is very concerning for us as we deal with quite large packaging files and it comes that we can't trust the files that we're sending to our clients to be accurately representational of the actual documents. We can't be spending the time to be having to check every individual element on a PDF file every time we make the slightest amend to a file.

What pdf preset are you using (eg: smallest file size). Are you mac or PC, the pc works pretty good printing to the pdf writer. During your 10 iterations, are you making any changes to the files, or are you saving the same file over and over and the result is different each time. What happens if you go to another computer and try to make a pdf form the same file?
You large sized files, scale a troublesome one down to fit on smaller paper size (eg: letter or tabloid) and make a pdf. Are your PDFs taking a long time to make? Try cleaning up nonused spot colors, and making them global.
I make lots of PDfs and can remember 2 cases where things were acting funny, but resolved this
Embedding a placed 1 bit tiff that was being colorized to a spot color - the pdf span forever and never made itself prior to embedding
Creating outlines on a complex appearance stacked logo, where the corners were missing triangles.

Icons in the dock are randomly disappearing.

I installed the Installer update last night, plus one other update, and now some icons are vanishing in my dock. They aren't removed—the icon is just not displayed. So when I started my Mac, clicked Chrome to restore my session, and the icon disappeared I knew something was up. Then when I updated VirtualBox the icon disappeared until I ran it again.
Now when I look at my applications folder it looks like this:
I've updated none of those applications recently. I'm thinking there's another bug that got through QA on the installer update.

Might be corrupted dock preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy / paste: ~/Library/Preferences
Click Go then move the com.apple.dock.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Retart your Mac.

I have items in my contacts that are randomly disappearing. I need to find them.

I have been recently been loosing items from my contacts. Ironically, it seems that things just go away. In the last month i have had a problemrn with being able to add to my calendar too. I type something, but it didn't stick. When I called support, they thought it was because I had low memory on the ipad. Then the ability has come back, but te appointment is purple. The recently they have turned to dark gold. I havent changed anything on the ipad.

I created a dummy contact in iPhones and tried to sync it with iCloud.
I now get an error message on my iPhone which says, "iCloud Backup Failed: Turn off Airplane Mode or use Wi-Fi to enable iCloud Backup".
The Airplane Mode is already off, and I am right now connected via Wi-Fi.
Why do you think I am getting that error message?

NOTES are all stranded on my iPad

I wish to transfer my 1500 Notes from my iPad to MacBook. I have been backing up to iCloud for at least a year, maybe 18 months (my notes actually date back 4 years) but only 2 months of notes appear on my iCloud account. And even then, individual notes are randomly missing, so that from a given day, only a proportion of the notes on my iPad show up on my iCloud.
How can I transfer all my notes to my Macbook? Given that my iPad is old (MB293B) and I cannot install ios 7 (I am on 5.1.1) I am unable to use Evernote as a file transfer device, since it needs to be on my iPad as well as on my Macbook. Perhaps there is another way, short of emailing to myself every note laboriously one by one?
Also I cannot see how to download the few Notes I can see in my i-cloud account to my Macbook, which I should like to do. Nor does the Help section [denoted by a ?] open up.
My iPad is an early model (MB293B, ios 5.1.1) so that means I cannot, for example, transfer them to my Macbook via Evernote. Evernote needs ios 7 which my iPad cannot run.
In case this is of relevance, my iPad capacity is supposedly 28.5 GB with 3.9 GB available. My iPad tells me that I have used 0.2 GB only of my allowance of 5.0 GB.

I use Mobile Me. Notes are correctly synching from iphone to MAC..
but NOT synching from MAC to Iphone and Ipad..

That's just a difference in how Outlook interprets email characters from the Mac. You shouldn't rely on using tabs for spacing, since you can never be sure if any of the text will align correctly in the recipient's email program. A better option is to use a monospaced font and plain text formatting.

Album artwork randomly disappears

it took me 5 days to make sure all of my 2000 songs had album artwork. now some of the songs are randomly disappearing. is there any reason to this, or a solution.....i dont want the 5 days i spent putting artwork to be for nothing. thanks.

correction, the songs arent deleting but the album artwork on some of the songs.

Bookmarked pages randomly disappear

Upgraded to FFox 4 and I have rather strange situation. I've bookmarked 3 pages during same session. I've turned off computer (regular shutdown - no errors) and when turned back on - only 1 bookmark is here while other 2 are lost. Now I started bookmarking pages and they are randomly disappearing from bookmarks. NO PATTERN at all. Checked Profile - OK. Now I'm confused what to do ? How can I be sure that bookmarked page will stay bookmarked ?

I opened the app, was viewing the note, and it just went away...and is no longer listed with the other notes...
Not the first time this new iPhone 5 has randomly disgarded notes from my notes app...very frustrating...
All the old notes made with my previous iPhone 4 are still there after being carried over from the upgrade...

Music randomly disappears during sync with iPhone

When I sync my iPhone with my MacBook Pro, music randomly disappears from my iTunes library. The first time, 100 items "could not be found," then the last time 10 items "could not be found." Songs are still listed in the library, but they will not play and they have an exclamation point next to them. I have everything backed up on an external drive, but it's a pain to have to keep dragging songs back over. This problem began after my most recent OS X update. The items are very random and incude songs purchased from iTunes, songs from CDs I own and "digital book" downloads included with albums I purchased through iTunes. I would very much appreciate any help. I'm afraid to sync music anymore!

Unfortunately, this does not fix my issue. The battery indicator still disappears sometimes (not always) when syncing and I always have the sidebar showing. BTW, this only happens with my 5S not with my wife's 5 or my iPad 3. It used to happen with the 5 that used to be mine until I got the 5S and gave the 5 to my wife. Because of this I think it has something to do with some app I have loaded (but since I have many apps it would be very hard to track down).
