My number reads blocked, or unidentified

my number shows up as blocked, unidentified, or a different number from a different area code when i call a cell phone from my online number. This was not the case until I reactivated my number. Some landlines that do not receive calls from unidentified numbers have stoped taking my calls. i can no longer call my sister's house because of this, and very few people answer my calls on their cell phones because of this. How do I get my online number to show up on other people's caller ids like it did in the past?

If you just reactivated the number, it is likely you will need to reset your Caller ID settings to display that Online Number again.  You should be able to get to that setting in the Skype program on a computer, or log into your Skype account using the "Account" link at the top of this page where you can see the Caller ID settings.

  • Pacman -U reports package needing a crazy number of blocks

I'm testing a package provided by a reliable 3rd party and it fails to install on one system, but succeeds on another (both 32-bit systems). On the failing installation, pacman reports that the package requires a crazily huge number of blocks:

I can install other packages with pacman fine and have never encountered this problem before. My root filesystem is not full:

namcap showed nothing unusual about the package (which is not open source), and checks on my hard drive show nothing amiss.
Would be grateful for any pointers to solve this unusual problem!

Leonid.I wrote:Can you actually extract the package and measure the occupied disk space? Also what does pacman -Qpi <package> say?
Yes - extracted it to a temporary directory and it occupied 6.2M of disk space, according to the du -h command. Directories and files looked fine.
    pacman -Qpi =>
    Compressed Size: 2485.82 KiB
    Installed Size : 6692.00 KiB
All seems reasonable, but .... !
(Also re-archived all the extracted stuff into a .pkg.tar.xz archive and got the same problem.)
Edit: But both the .tar.gz and .tar.xz packages install without error on a second system, upgraded with pacman -Syu today to exactly the same level as the first system!

  • Maximum number of blocks for a bigfile datafile?

    Hello,
In 10g, when using bigfile tablespaces, the maximum size of a datafile can be between 8TB to 128TB depending on the block size (2K to 32K). The formula given to calculate the max size of a bigfile datafile is:
Maximum datafile size = db_block_size * maximum number of blocks
So my question is how do you calculate the max number of blocks? Oracle documentation states that the max number of blocks is 4,294,967,296 (4 billion) 2^32. But where do they get this number from? I read, on a different site (not Oracle), that it is the addressing scheme used in ROWID that changed permitting the possibility of addressing 4 billion blocks instead of 4 million:
This is due to a new addressing scheme Oracle uses internally. Oracle ROWID, addressing a database object stored in a traditional SMALLFILE tablespace, divides the 12 bytes thusly: 3 bytes for the Relative File#, 6 bytes for the Block# and 3 bytes for the object. The same rowid addressing an object stored in a new BIGFILE tablespace uses the 9 bytes to store the Block# within the unique file, as there is no reason to use the 3 bytes for the Relative File# since there is only one file in that tablespace. Thus the new addressing scheme permits up to 4Gblocks (4,294,967,296) in a single data file and the maximum file size can reach 8 TB for a blocksize of 2K and 128 TB for a blocksize of 32K.
But, even with this explanation, 4 billion still makes no sense because using 9 bytes equates to 2^72 addressable blocks, not 2^32. Am I missing something?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Thanks for the answer.
I'm almost tempted to accept the explanation that the 4,294,967,296 addressable blocks is a 32bit platform limitation... Do you or anyone know of any official Oracle documentation explaining where they get this magic number from?

  • If a number is blocked on an iPhone is it also blocked on the iPad it deals with?

If a number is blocked on an iPhone, is it also blocked on the iPad associated with that number?

There is a button on the left side of the green "Call" botton with a "+"
Tab a number and then tab on this botton. Then your are shown your options for saving the number.
Much better than just saving a number automatically.

  • If I send a text and my number is blocked will it still say delivered at the bottom of the text?

If I send a text and my number is blocked will it say delivered at the bottom of the text?

Yes. If another iPhone user has blocked you, you have no way of knowing.

  • Getting my number permanently blocke

I have called customer services is India several months ago (March I think) to get my number permanently blocked.  I was told this was done but the number is still coming up on people's caller display.  We do not use our phone for incoming calls EVER and the ringer is permently turned off but folk have written down the number before thinking this is the right one to contact us on, then complained that it doesn't get answered.  I can't keep putting 141 infront of all calls as I have a very poor memory and it is hard enough to hold the other numbers I need to dial in my mind without demented rhythmic singing!
    Please help.

  • "ERROR: Could not read block 64439 of relation 1663/16385/16658: Result too large"

    Hi,
I've already archived a lot of assets in my final cut server but since one week there is a message appearing when I click on an asset and choose "Archive". The pop-up says: "ERROR: Could not read block 64439 of relation 1663/16385/16658: Result too large"
Does anyone know what's the problem and/or have any suggestions to solve my problem?! I can't archive anymore since the first appearance of this message.
    What happened before?
-> I archived some assets via FCS and then transfered the original media to an offline storage media. That system worked fine for the last months and my normal server stays quit small in storage use. But now, after I added some more new productions and let FCS generate the assets, it doesn't work anymore...
It's not about the file size - I tried even the smallest file I found in some productions.
It's not a particular production - I tried some different productions.
It's not about the storage - there's a lot of storage left on my server.
So, if someone knows how get this server back on the road - let me know.
    THNX!
    Chris

I would really appreciate some advice re: recent FCS search errors.
We're having similar issues to C.P.CGN's 2 year old post, it's only developed for us in the last few weeks.
Our FCS machine is running 10.6.8 mac os and 1.5.2 final cut server with the latest
    OS 10.6.x updates.
FCS is still usable for 6 of 8 offliners, but on some machines, searching assets presents "ERROR: could not read block 74012 of relation1663/16385/16576: Input/output error."
Assuming the OS and/or data drives on the FCS machine were failing, I cloned the database drive today and will clone the OS drive tomorrow night, but after searching the forums and seeing similar error messages I'm not so sure.
FCS has been running fine for last 4 years, minus the recent Java security issues.
Thanks in advance, any ideas appreciated!

I would really appreciate some advice re: FInal Cut Server search errors.
FCS has been running well with our Linux based raid Editshare for 4 years, notwithstanding the recent Mac OS Java security issues.
Our FCS machine is running 10.6.8 mac os and 1.5.2 final cut server with the latest
OS 10.6.x updates, ancient I know.
FCS is still searchable for most of our offliners, audio, gfx and onliner machines running 10.7+, but in some cases, searching FCS assets results in "ERROR: could not read block 74012 of relation1663/16385/16576: Input/output error."
Initially assuming the OS and/or data drives on the FCS machine were failing, I ran disk utility's repair, verify. time machine, and cloned the database drive. I'll clone the OS drive tomorrow, but after checking the forums tonight and seeing similar error messages I'm not so sure it a degraded drive issue.

Refer to the SQL documentation of the database server how to query a subset of records.
This has certainly nothing to do with JDBC nor Java, but with SQL.
