My O/S clock has gone back 1 hour

Hi,
I am using 11.5.10.2 on AIX box. On all the request O/P the time shown is 1 hour back. This is because O/S time is showing 1 hour back.(If the actual current time is 2:00 PM then on O/S and requests O/P the time is 1:00PM). Can i add 1 hour to O/S clock(after shutting down application services and db). Does it have any consequences on applications. like conc. programs...
Coz i have read some where we should not change time in applications.
This is a one node impl.

Changing the OS clock does not have any affect on the applications. If you are in the US, the 1-hour change occurred two weekends ago. Other countries also change times at different points in the year. Pl verify with your hardware system admin to ensure that all of the latest OS timezone patches have been applied. If that is the case then this should not be an issue.

Latest IOS 7.1 Release - How can I set calendar events to the minute. This was enhanced in ios7 and now has gone back to 5 minute blocks. Why???/

In IOS6 you could only set calendar appointments at 5 minute intervals. This was fixed in IOS7 but has reverted back in the latest release of IOS7.1. Why? IS there any way to override it. It means I have to go back to my old method of putting my actual golf tee time in the description of the appointment.

After closing firefox, the next time I open it my homepage has gone back to the default homepage and not the one I tried to set as my home page.

I've tried multiple times to set my home page to Yahoo.com
It works as long as I have Firefox open, but if I close Firefox and then re-open it, the home page has reverted back to the default home page, not the one I set.
This has not happened before updating to 3.6.10.

HT201210 feeling a little lost. i was updating to new phone software now phone has gone back to new mode. it recognises my phone but wont allow me to ststem backup from itunes as it does not like the passwords i use as it says system restore already done

IMac has gone back in time, deleting important files!

Hi, my iMac has sent many of its settings and files as they were months and months ago, and many other files have simply been erased completely, including all my school HSC files and my entire music collection.
more seriously is that although i have had a time machine back up set up for a long time now, it suddenly has deleted all recent up dates, with my earliest one being around april this year!
Has anyone had a similar problem lately? can any one offer some advice on what to do?

Time Travel on Mac or The Clock has Gone Mad...

My time zone is 4+... the time displayed on Leopard is 8:00am... Then I reboot to Windows XP... everything continues just as normal, the time is still 8:00am... When I boot back to Leopard my new time is 4:00am... Did I just time travel 4 hours back in time?
How can I avoid this?

IPod clock has gone wrong

Here it goes,
I restarted my iPod, and now, when I go into "Clock" ( under Extras ),the time is all wrong ( for instance, if it's 1:28 AM on the iPod, it's actually 6:28 PM on my Mac's clock ). How do I correct this?

A quick way (though this is just a short term fix) to get the meters to sync up is to reset the iPod by pressing the menu and center buttons together for a few seconds. The longer term fix is to follow fullcream's suggestion; letting the iPod battery completely die every couple of months helps recalibrate the battery meters.
I have noticed that the problem of non-matching meters has gotten worse with the latest firmware (1.1.1).

I have an iphone 3Gs, no longer on contract and unlocked by network provider. I've tried updating the software and it has gone back to factory settings, but it's telling me that it cannot activate the phone due to activation server is unavailable. Is there anything I can do to get the phone working again?

Was your iPhone hacked or jailbroken prior to the unlock attempt?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
