My old computer crashed,i have a new computer
my old computer crashed and i lost everything. all my music & apps are on my phone. how do i tranfer them to my new computer & itunes?
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your computer.

Old pc crashed, only have existing music on ipod and iphones, need to re-establish itunes on new pc, how do you do it?
Hi ted846,
For any content on your iPod and iPhone purchased from iTunes, you can transfer it to your new computer's iTunes library via this article:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1848
For anything not purchased through iTunes, you will need to reimport that from the original source or otherwise bring over from the previous disk.
Take care!

My iPod touch is synced to my old Mac and I have a new PC. Now when I plug my iPod into the new computer it will make the connection sound, but will not show up in my iTunes. I do not care to have the content copied over. Any suggestions?

Are you attempting to backup via iTunes on the computer or iCloud? -
Help! My old computer crashed, and I have a bunch of music that I don't have on cd any longer, is there anyway to move the library I have on my iPhone now to my new computer I just bought?
Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

As for you own music and contents, you may have to use a third party software to copy over. A good Free one is called Sharepod which you can download from Download.com here:

My computer crashed and i have a new one. how do i get my itunes back and all my apps and music?
you can get your apps back by looking at you download history after signing in in itunes.
for the songs if they were purchased from the itunes store, same method.
if they were just mp3 files dowloaded from somewhere else, unless you have them saved somewhere, sorry man. -
im looking for help. my kids were playing with my ipod touch and somehow managed to get it disabled for 22,582,766 minutes. my original computer crashed and i have a new one but i cannot get my itunes to recognize it. please help
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

My computer crashed, I now have a new computer, how do I download Adobe Acrobat Professional (I have the serial key)
http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. You may have to work with Adobe (maybe chat) to resolve the number of activations. They are the ones who can reset it if needed.

I have a 2yr old iPad from work. And a iPhone 5 and I have a new iPad of my own now. (Not the air). My work iPad picks up wifi were ever I go. My iPhone and new iPad have trouble. I can't even get them to do it in my own house. Shouldn't they just connect automatically ?
Once you connect to the Wifi Network once, then the iPhone or iPad remembers it and attempts to connect automatically in the future, but you have to tap to connect to that Wifi the first time. Like the first time you get on your home wifi, or the first time you go the a certain hotel, etc.
Now, one you navigate to Settings > Wifi and tap on the network you wish to connect to, if you are having issues there, use this article to help you: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398 -

Hello... I need to authorise a new laptop after my old one completely died (before I could deauthorise it!!). I have 5 computers already authorised and cannot wait until July for the 12 month "deauthorise all computers" option to become available again. Does anyone know how can I authorise this new laptop as one of the 5, in place of the old one? Any help gratefully received!
Go to one of the authorized computers and de-authorize it individually.
The one year limitation is ONLY for the de-authorize all option. -
Can my husband use my old iPod since I have a new one?
I got a new Nano and my husband would like to use my old iPod. How can he do this with his Mac (he currently has a Shuffle and would like to "upgrade"). Someone told me I have to connect my old one to my iTunes library and delete the music.
Just plug it in. No need to delete anything.
It will ask if he wants to sync to the library on his computer. Just click Yes. -
Whats the difference in functionality btw the 2 old ATV"s i have and new
I have had 2 ATV"s since day 1 and love em. i use them in stream mode only.
Is their new functionality in the gen 2 ATV that i wont get with the V1?The only new functionality you'll get is this:
* netflix
* No more fear the unit will burst into flames even if you're not using it.
* The new atv runs the same os as the iphone, touch, and ipad so there's a good likelihood future updates will bring new apps (hulu+, mlb, pandora, etc...) But I wouldn't hold my breath for an app store.
Here is what you will lose:
* If you have a large video library there seems to be a minor video stutter issue during video playback.
* You can no longer browse the iTunes store and pick items to purchase forever.
* Season pass episodes no longer download automatically (You have to download them in your computer's itunes and it never calls home often enough to be useful when you have "automatically check for downloads" selected)
* Your audio/video will now be tucked away inside a sub menu which for me doesn't seem right.
* Your tv seasons will be listed individually in the master list.
* Your movies can no longer be sub-grouped by setting show and episode metadata (get info)
* Captioning text is too small.
If you subscribe to netflix it's worth running out and getting one. If you're not interested in netflix then hold off until the next update and see if it brings any new features you're interested in (and fixes some of the first release glitches people are finding) -
Will it damage a new IMAC keyboard to pound on it like an old typewriter? Old habits die hard.
All those micro switches don't require hammer force blows.
So when the keyboard fails, be ready to get another.
Reminds me of a neighbor years ago with a PC and while
the super-slow dialup internet took long durations to load
up pages, he would be clicking on the mouse button.
And then the computer OS would freeze. After a few months,
happened I was there several times to witness & said zip,
finally I suggested there was a cause & effect going on and
hinted the computer would not work faster while trying to
process a mouse click at nothing, (spinning wheel already)
or his hammering on the keyboard in a rush, with slow ISP.
Of course, half their problem was their cheep PC with windows 1.
At least with a new computer, you could talk the reseller out
of a new replacement keyboard within the complementary
plan. For extensive demands, get the optional AppleCare.
Good luck & happy computing! -
I have my old profile saved in my cloud backup which I downloaded to my desktop. I also downloaded the most up-to-date version of Thunderbird and created a new email address.
'''To make an image of a window:'''
Have the backup window open and in focus.
Hold down 'Alt' key and press the 'Prt Scr SysRq' key
Then open a program like 'Paint'; usually located:
Start> Programs >Accessories
Then use 'Ctrl+V to paste into Paint.
Save image as jpg.
then you can post a reply in this question.
To add the image, click on 'browse', locate image and clickon 'Open'.
You can add more than one image.

How do I Place an image into the center of an activated artboard in CC?
I have just upgraded to CC from CS6. In CS6, I could activate an artboard (double click it in the Artboard panel) and then Place an image, which would by default go into the center of the artboard. With CC, it "loads" the image into the cursor which
