Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID. -

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

I am not able to access the "Settings" on my iPad 3. I just get a gray screen for about 30 seconds and then the app shuts down. I am also unable to access the App store, iTunes, or any app requiring an internet connection. Any thoughts?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

I put my Walgreens reward card in passbook and now whenever I open the passbook app, the Walgreens card is on the screen and I am unable to access the passbook App Store

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -
Old computor crashed and burned. purchase new lenovo lap top with windows 7. got new itunes account. with new usename and password. how do I retrieve my old music libraries from my old itunes account.
Why did you start a new itunes account? This will just cause problems.
Your library will only be where you put it.
It has alwasys been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good at all, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:

I just detatched a first generation I pad from and old Apple ID and an now unable to add this ipad to my account and of course I cannot download my updates
In iTunes on your computer, select the Purchased section under STORE in the left column. Click on the first track and choose "Get Info" from the "File" menu.
In the "Summary" tab you'll see details of the purchaser of the track. Click Next to go through all your purchased music one by one until you find the ones you need to get rid of.
Unfortunately, there are no smart playlist rules that can filter tracks by the purchaser that I know of. -
My old laptop crashed and I want to re-establish my iPhone with a new laptop. I had no chance for backing up just before the crash, so I need some other way of transfering ALL files, contacts, calendars, photos, etc simply. Can I transfer any data out of my old laptop HDD ? The iTunes on the new laptop doesn't like the idea of me using it for the old phone either !!
If the hard drive in your old laptop still works you could put it in an external enclosure in order to copy your entire iTunes folder to your new laptop. If that isn't possible, the first thing you would need to do is copy any music you didn't purchase from iTunes from your phone to your iTunes library on you new laptop using 3rd party software such as Touch Copy. This can't be accomplished with iTunes (iTunes will only transfer purchased music from your phone). You would also need to do the same thing with any Photo Library pictures on your phone that were synced from your old computer. These can't be transfered with iTunes either. Once you've done this, carefully follow the steps in wjosten's post here in order to sync your phone to your new laptop without losing data: https://discussions.apple.com/message/13356770#13356770. Not sure what happened but after I downloaded iOS 6 to my iPod touch 4th gen i was unable to use the app store and go on certain websites like yahoo.com, cracked.com and other websites I ussually visit. On top of that the yahoo weather app does not update and always says it fails. I just restored my ipos and nothing changed. Does anyone have an idea of whats going on here?

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I am using pse 11 0n windows vista for years and it has suddenly started freezing on starting, I am now unable to access the organizer it freezes on the blue screen, the editor can be opened. Have removed and reinstalled but is still occurring. Have changed the files as suggested, am unable to open as administrator

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
It wont let me do anything on the phone except make emergency calls and it has a message saying "restore needed. iphone cannot make or recieve calls. restore from iTunes." The tech people i called and verizon didnt know what to do. i'm very confused. i restarted the phone, restarted my computer, updated my itunes and everything and nothing has worked.
Hmm, well... iTunes trys to activate your iPod using the Apple server to make sure you have bought it legit.
Two things come into my mind:
1) Your iTunes can't access the internet.
2) Apples activation servers are down.
That's just my cents, maybe anyone else has an idea. -
