Mail on Macbook will not open. When it is open, it won't quit.
Email on locked network on Safari continually times out. If I unplug and replug it connects.
One AOL address does not post some emails, both sending and receiving, on both Mail and Safari

Hi,
this may be a false/positive log record.
First check the services and applications on the effecting machine (NETSTAT -ANO) to see which connections the machine has established or tries to establish.
Check the machine against viruses and spyware.
if you don't find any viruses / spyware or "mysterious" connections, create a connection exception limit in the flood mitigation settings on your TMG Server:

If it's not accepting your answers, then if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use

Mail doesn't support notes. If you use iCloud, you have them in it because Notes is an application

You can only have one email account for each iCloud account. You can create up to three alias addresses, but these will still receive email in the current account inbox. This explains how to create an alias if you want to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.
You can create a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your device by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and entering a different iCloud ID. This will give you second iCloud email account but it will only be fetch email (not push). Also, you can only create a maximum of three iCloud accounts on each device so this would use one of your allotted accounts.

I have just purchased an imac which I am very happy with. In our household we also have two iphones (one mine and one husbands) and one ipod (my sons). We all have individual itunes accounts set up on our previous computer (not a mac). We have sepereate apps and music, although there may be the odd occasion where we would like to share a song (if this is possible) across devices.
I am just wondering the best way to manage these devices using the new imac. Should I create individual accounts to logon to the imac, then from within these launch our own itunes accounts and sync our devices with these. Or should I be using one version of itunes, logging on to this with our different itunes usernames and storing things in libraries.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Though I'm no copyright lawyer, as long as it's within a household, you can share content among users. Such sharing is, absent specific language preventing it not present in the iTunes Store terms of use, generally considered to be "personal use". So you can share apps and music amongst your users on your computer and with their devices. You just can't give any of that content to friends or relatives who don't live with you.
What I am not clear on, it making sure that this appears in each itunes account - is it easy to find the file storage folders that match the itunes accounts and what would these be?
The iTunes library and files are by default in a user's Home/Music folder. But you don't have to find the folder; in fact putting a file into the folder yourself won't add the file to iTunes. Just drag the file into the iTunes window. iTunes will copy it to the correct location.

Is this possible to have a network failover in sun cluster with one IP address ( requirement is in two node cluster, each system having one NIC port. IPMP group will have only one IP address which is also use as logical address also)?

I doubt it. In your cluster setup, one of the nodes would always have no(!) IP address. Actually, before you would configure your logical IP address, none of your cluster nodes would have a valid IP address, as the logicalhostname resource would want to plumb the address.
Re-reading your post, the answer is no. This setup will have all sorts of problems.

I have extended the same material to 2 different distribution channels and divisions but when iam checking in display view of MM for different distribution channels divions should be different as i have given divisions also different but in my case the last saved division only appearing for both different distribution channels.
Second thing in MVKE table iam not able to find the division field(SPART)?
Is iam missing any setting?

Address is wrong in Mail and I can't fix it

I am using OS X 10.7.3 and Mail 5.2. I had 2 IMAP accounts in Mail from gmail--mine and my wife's.
Everything is working fine except for when I send mail. I choose my address from the drop down menu and everything in the email is correct, including my email address; however, the recipient of my email addresses gets my name with my wife's email address, i.e. it should be : Dan<dan@gmail> BUT INSTEAD is always Dan<[email protected]>. So everyone who replies to my emails ends up replying to her address instead of mine. I've even removed her account from Mail, and restarted the application to no avail...it still comes up Dan<[email protected]>. When I send mail to myself from gmail via Chrome, it comes back correctly as my address, i.e. Dan<dan@gmail.
I've checked Address Book to see if there is some weird combination of our names in there and I don't see it. Can't think of anything else. Please help

Only a fraction of the email addresses I have received mail and sent mail to show up i my collected addresses list.

I have thousands of email addresses I have sent to and received from but maybe 50 show up in my collected address list. I want to export my emails contacts but I can't find the majority of those names and addresses.

Address book different on iPhone and mac

I want the same address book on all of my devices and had that before my recent upgrade to lion, os5, and icloud. Now some contacts have vanished from my iPad and iPhone. I thought they were all supposed to synch?

first you should choose in Settings-->Mail, Contacts, Calendar-->Contacts, Sort Order and Display Order. You have the choice of First, Last or Last, First. This is how you prefer your contacts to appear on the iPhone Contacts app. Then you should do the same in the Mac by opening Address Book and going to Preferences. I would recommend that you use the same criteria on both.
That, of course, will be the settings for all your contacts. I have chosen First, Last for Display and Last, First for Sort Order. I particularly like that one which sorts by last names alphabetically but shows the first name first on the display but you should play around and find the order you like best.
For people like John and Mary Smith, even though their home number is the same, their cell phones and emails addresses may be different and I prefer to make a different contact card for each one and list the common phone number in both of them. If you do this and you have the same sort criteria in your Mac, there are likely to be less confusion. Just take care when you enter the details in every new contact card to put each name in the right place.

When hovering over a persons name in an email I receive it used to show the actual email address.
When right clicking on a persons name in an email I receive it used to show a drop-down list where I could choose "find email" and all email from that person would be displayed.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

I will need a little more information order to help out. What is the screen doing when it rejects the password? Are you getting a specific error message or does the screen just remain on that page and does nothing/freezes up? Are you using/creating a password that is a least 6 characters long and contains letters, numbers and/or special characters? Do you already have a printer added to your account with an established email address?

F.18 Balance Confirmation: Print, Send E--Mail and Send FAX in same time ??

In T-Code F.18 we can Print or Send Email or Send FAX to vendor.
To do this, we specified a custom Function Module in FIBF. This function module decides which way the document will be sent. And i set decision mechanism with Vendor Default Communication Type (ADRC-DEFLT_COMM).
But in this way, we can just Print or just send Email or just FAX or etc.
Is it possible to run F.18 with multiple communication methods ?
