My original email address is now inactive, how do I delete my original apple email ID or update it?

I can't update APPS on my I-Pad... My original email address has been inactive for quite a while and I don't know the password connected to this email ID.
I do however have another apple email ID, how can I replace the original with this new one? Help very much appreciated, thank you!

You can update the primary email address on your account by logging into it by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com

One, you cannot delete an Apple ID, all you can do is stop using it and let it fade away.
Two, apps are permanently tied to an aPple ID and can never be transferred to another. You must use that same ID to update an app, or delete the app and repurchase/download under another ID.

You need to sign into the old account on your computer.

You don't need access to the email address, just enter the address and your password, that's it.

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store

Do you normally sync to a computer? I ended up in the same boat when I'd synced some photos on, then got a new computer and forgot to remove the photos. What I had to do was set up to sync an empty folder on my new computer, which basically erased the old photos, replaced them with the nothing that was in the new folder.

By default, Acrobat DC for iOS displays recently viewed files. You need to switch to other file location (such as Local, Document Cloud, Creative Cloud) to delete, rename, move, or duplicate files.
You can switch to Local, if you would like to see the files and folders that are locally stored on your iPad.

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.
