My OS is windows 7 64bit. My computer will not communicate with my HP Photosmart A 646 portable printer.
It says it is ready but when I go to print a picture (4x6 or 5x7) that printer is not available. I downloaded an updated
driver but no change.

I saw your post about the wireless communication issues your Photosmart C6180 is having when connecting to your computer. I understand you have tried recycling the network devices, and uninstalled and reinstalled the printer to no avail.
I would next suggest this troubleshooting guide below. Click the link and select your OS, Wireless Network, and "Solution two: Manually resolve the issue" and follow the steps in order:

I hope the printer communicates with the computer afterwards and connects successfully!

Windows 7 64 bit service pack 2 not sync with Itouch4g

Windows 7 64 bit with new update of service pack 2 will not recognize ITouch4g 64 when connected or in Itunes 10.1.2 will not see the Itouch 4g 64 attached.
Is there a new fix from apple and when will they send it out??

There is no Service Pack 2 for Windows 7; they just released Service Pack 1. Is that what you meant?

Connected Deskjet 6940 to computer with windows 7 64 bit, duplex print will not work?

I have a Deskjet 6940 model C8970A. The Duplex printer function does not work. It will manually ask me to turn around all the pages to print on the other side. Before it would print front then back of page at a time. I have Windows 7 64 bit on the new computer.

The Duplex Unit is disabled by default, make sure to enable the accessory as following:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers
Right click the HP Deskjet 6940 icon, then click Printer Properties.
Select the Device Settings tab.
Set the Duplex Unit as Installed, click OK.
Now set Print On Both Sides as Automatically from the Printing Preferences Dialog.

I noticed the problem after installing Firefox 4.0.1, but by uninstalling and reinstalling found it was also a problem with the previous version.
There are no boxes displayed on this form, but on my XP desktop computer, they are displayed. I have both open so I know where to type.
I installed Firefox on the XP virtual console on this machine and it worked fine, but not using Windows 7.
None of the posted suggestions for similar questions on this forum worked.

Under Windows 7, 64-bit, Firefox intermittently will not open a new window - all I get is a grey screen, with a tiny part of my homepage displayed in the top left corner of the screen.

The problem began after a recent Firefox update. Occasionally, when I try to open a new Firefox window, all I get is a grey screen with a tiny section of my homepage visible in the top left corner of the screen. NOTE: Firefox stores all of these aborted attempts, as, whenever I close it and then re-open it, the first time I open a new window it automatically opens all of the windows that had originally failed to open.

Got the exact same problem aswell, finally fed up with it now as i just started up firefox and 14 new windows opened because of this bug, luckily my computer can handle them but someone with a slower processor it would have been a nightmare, needs fixing ASAP.
Reverting back to 3.6.3 until this issue is solved. (link for anyone wanting to do the same below)

Windows 8.1 Fingerprint Reader Will Not Work With IE11

After upgrading to Windows 8.1, I am having issues with Fingerprint Reader in Internet Explorer 11. I have upgraded to the latest Lenovo FPR software for Win 8.1 (6.0.0.8102) which has not helped.
FPR works fine to log-on into Windows 8.1.
When I try to activate the FPR in the LastPass Vault (IE11), I get an error message for a missing file - BIOCPL.DLL. I noticed that this file is present in the System32 directory for Windows 8 but it does not exist in Windows 8.1.
I copied biocpl.dll to the Win 8.1 System32 directory but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas??

Sounds to me like you are going to need an update to LastPass that is compatible with Windows 8.1.
BIOCPL.dll is the OS component that implements the Biometric Control Panel on Win7/Win8. But Microsoft moved all the Biometrics stuff from desktop into metro, in Win8.1. That's why this file no longer exists in the OS on Win8.1. Sorry to say, I don't think there is any possible solution to this problem other than asking the LastPass people for a new version.

Try a low-tech solution. Check the condition of the HotSync port connection on both the T3 and the cradle.
Look for any possible corrosion, coating, or bent fingers in the cradle. Sometimes a good cleaning with either Contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol can work miracles! (Use a q-tip swabbed in it, do not pour it onto the PDA).

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Can you check something for me please?
Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?
