My Palm Z22 will not type in calendar or contact mode.

My Palm readily typed and deleted until I downloaded an update of Nevada Casino for Palm from Standalone.com. I initially purchased the programming disc at Standalone.com. I played it for a few days until the bank roll ran out. It stopped playing because there was no way to reset the bank roll. At Standalone.com, I was instructed to download an update to correct the problem that was inherent in the program. I downloaded several times because I still could not reset the bank roll. After receiving several instruction emails from Standalone.com this week, I was able to reset the bankroll through Hold'Em Poker, which was also on the disc. For a while I was able to play the games.
I also downloaded some solitaire games from Standalone.com. I was able to play them for a few days. Last night I had some problems tapping cards with Pyramid. The tapped cards would not disappear.
I discovered a new problem today. I can no longer type or delete anything in the Calendar and Contacts modes. I am at a loss as to how to correct the problem. I rely on my calendar and contacts lists every day. I also just discovered that when I tap on the screen to play any of casino games, nothing is happening. PLEASE HELP!!!

If you have all your information backed up via HotSync to your computer, you can try a Hard Reset - since your problems seemed to start with the download of that game, it could be the source of the problem!
After you do the Hard Reset, DO NOT Hotsync right away, but test to see if your screen is working correctly. If it is OK, then the problem is software-related and still on your computer in the /Backup directory for your Palm information.
Rename the /Backup directory to /BackupOLD then do a Hotsync and choose your original Hotsync name. All your PIM data will return, but not the problems.

I have been following the forums and this seems to be consistent issue and no one seems to be able to give a straight answer as to what to do. I like to consider myself a biut of a techie, but this blows my mind. My computer recognized my z22 twice and synced twice, but ever since it synced with it the second time and i installed my belkin wireless key board it stopped working. I don't know why but my computer will no longer recognize the device, i've tried everything i've seen discussed i've installed different versions of palm desktop i've tried restarting my palm in everyway possible, there is no way on earth i am going to reload vista or wipe my hard drive or any crap like that i've got to much stuff and i don't have the disks for it anymore anyway. so what am i supposed to do. i'm trying to keep cool but this is sort of something i'm counting on working to help me keep organized while i go through college, and i think it's understandable that i would be a little frustrated.

Check out either MusicTones or MiniTones, both free programs that work similarly. Available from freewarepalm.com.
They will scan your SD card for songs, then let you edit out a slice right on your Centro. You choose the Start and Stop locations of the "slice". When satisfied, click the "Add" button, and it will appear in your list of Ringtones.

MobileMe will not push my Calendar or Contacts with 2.1

I cannot get my contacts or calendar to push back to my phone since the 2.1 upgrade. As it stands now, I have nothing in either db. They sync fine between desktop and MobileMe, but the iphone never populates with data. Gmail pushes fine. I have deleted the mobileme account and re-added it, reset the phone, powered down between changing settings. The MobileMe Account is on for all 4 dbs, and push is on for everything as well. Fetch is set to 15 mins. I've waited over 12 hours and nothing.
I am syncing with the desktop now just so I can have my data back on the phone. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've tried every suggestion I have seen on these boards so far and nothing works.

I was able to finally get push working today for my calendar. It turns out that my main calendar was too large to sync. When I exported it during testing, it was over 5mb. All the rest of my calendars were under 70k. Big difference. In my main calendar, I had 3 events that repeated either daily or weekly with no end date. I gave all 3 an end date and then exported the calendar again to check the file size. It was down to 52k! I initiated a sync to mobile me and within seconds, by main calendar arrived on my phone as well as the rest of my push data.
Very strange that one of those three events was causing the problem because I have other repeat events on other calendars with no end date (plus birthdays and such) but adding the end dates fixed it for me. Hope this helps someone else.

Firefox will not display Yahoo Calendar.

Are you using Firefox 3.5? I am not sure whether Yahoo Toolbar still supports it.. Have you considered upgrading to Firefox 3.6.x or Firefox 5.0? :)

Try going into settings - mail - outlook account - then uncheck the sync for calendar - then sync it back and see if that resolves the issue.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. All your preferences are reset, but your data and media aren’t deleted.

From what I've read it's a problem with a recent update. I've never had a Mac so I'm trying to learn and fix it.

I just had an issue like this. I was able to boot up with an external firewire drive, although it was a lot of trouble. I think doing an option boot finally worked; holding down the option key, I eventually got to see the firewire drive was bootable, and booted from it.
I put the thing in verbose boot mode (command - v , I think; but please look it up. I have no Mac books at work to check). In verbose mode, you could see that the hard drive could not mount; the OS tried to do fsck, but it failed around 2/3 of the way, and the CPU was halted.
I was occasionally able to boot normally, but never in safe or single user modes; these do a disk test first, which invariably failed.
I could see from the system and console logs when I managed to get the firewire boot going that there were repeated errors trying to access drive s03, the internal SATA drive. The logs on the SATA drive showed huges numbers of errors. At a wild guess, for some reason a lot of sectors went bad all at once. There had been a some erratic behavior before, but I'd put that down to the single processor G5 problems. (these were non video related, just freezes).
Applecare wanted me to carry the huge thing into the local Apple store, but I persuaded them to just send me a replacment hard drive, which they did. The new one works perfectly.

Do you really mean the Nikon D60 which shipped in 2008? Was it purchased secondhand?
The Nikon D60 was first supported in Adobe Camera Raw 4.4.
Photoshop CS4 ships with Camera Raw 5.0 so it can read D60 NEF files out of the box. No updates required.
If you do mean the D60 then something else must be going on. e.g. are you using Nikon software to transfer files from camera to computer?

If you open your Contacts app and do a search on that newly added contact, does it NOT appear?

Why does Lion KEEP reversing changes you make in address book and other applications without your consent and without wanting it to??? Plus address book will NOT import old address book contacts from Snow Lepoard 10.6 and keep them. This Lion OXS 7 is .. becoming very frustrating ... it will NOT keep changes made in the Address Book and it has destroyed my contacts which I only have electronically since 10.4 in my address book. I am NOT happy with this OS7 it has a lot of issues and faults. How can one stop automatic reversing of data when inputting???

Relax. Your address book database is corrupted.
If you are syncing your Contacts with MobileMe or something else, disable it for now.
Backup your address book by going to File>Export>Address Book Archive.
Quit Address Book.
Open your Library by holding down the Option (alt) key while selecting the Go menu in Finder. Select Library. Navigate into your Application Support/AddressBook folder and delete the addressbook-v22.abcddb file.
Open Address Book. It will recreate the database from the raw data.
See how that works. If it is ok, then reenable syncing and see how that works.
