My password don't work?

My password don't work and I need to update three apps and I can download.

If your password works on your computer's iTunes and not on the iPad, then try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works on it.
Otherwise try resetting your password via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com

This may sound crazy, but download any free app.  This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

  • Have updated email add now passwords don't work and old email is still displayed so created new apple ID and password ,now app store still using old email /password .wat to do now

Have updated apple I D  and password
Now appstores still using old apple Id and password
    Cannot update or download apps
Created new apple I d and password and now still iTunes using old id and old password doesn't work
    Bbaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

    Hi Mofomon,
If you want to use the new/updated AppleID and password, you need to sign out of the App Store, sign out of iTunes, etc. and then sign back on with the new ID and password.
To sign out of the App Store on your iPad, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, then click on your old AppleID, click on View Account, and sign in with your old password that goes with that ID. Then click on Sign Out. Once you have the old ID signed out, you can sign back on with the new ID and Password.
New purchases will be done with that ID, but if you actually set up a totally separate brand new ID from your old one (as opposed to simply changing it) then any past purchases will still be linked to that old ID, and will require the old password for updating.
If you simply changed your existing AppleID, then the new password will be what is needed for updating.
    Cheers,

  • Have reset PRAM, now account passwords don't work

After my Macbook froze and I forced it shutting down it came up pwith the neverending twriling symbol but not loading up.
I looked up online and found the advice to reset the PRAM.
Then it came back to our normal starting page with the 2 accounts to login to, but both passwords are not working anymore.
    What can I do?
Will this fault now reoccur or is this a fluke? I don't feel like resetting the PRAM every now and then...
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Reset your admin password.
Boot to your Lion Recovery Partition, by holding down the Option key while starting and then selecting the Recovery HD as the boot choice.
Once booted, at the top of the screen is a menu ..., select Utilities / Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window will open. Select your boot volume (your SSD drive) if it is not already selected. Select your username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if it is not already selected. Follow the prompts to reset the password. Restart the computer from the apple menu.

  • Name/Password Don't work

I currently have OS X 10.6.8.  I am trying to install the new OS X Lion.  I have downloaded it but when I go to install it asks me for "Name" and "Password".  I put in what I know to be these and they don't work.  Usually, they ask for the Apple ID and Password, not "Name" and "Password".  So, I don't know what to put in here and can't install the new OS.  I believe I have paid for it, so, I don't want to quit on it.

This is not your Apple ID and password like you'd enter for the AppStore or iTunes.  This is the username and password for the administrator account that you would have set up when you first configured your Mac.

  • My Apple ID password don't work when I try to install Adobe Reader.  I did a reset on my password but still have the same results.  What can I do from here?

When trying to install Adobe Reader, I am being prompted for my password.  The ID was wrong so I changed to to the correct one but the password did not work.  I went on the Apple site to reset my password and tried again but to no avail.  What can I do to install Adobe?

Mac's Safari browser supports PDF documents
Adobe Reader is not good at security issues, if you can, avoid using/downloading it.
    PDF
Safari also includes built-in support for viewing PDF files. When you follow a link to a PDF in Safari, such as a user guide, it's displayed in the Safari window without having to open another app. Safari's built-in find and zoom features work with PDFs too.

I'm trying to clean my ipad of data back to original status but my passwords don't work

It sounds like you want to restore your iPad to factory settings.
You'll need your Apple ID and password associated with the data on the iPad to do any restores.

  • I changed the code for saving usernames and passwords, it didn't work, so I restored a backup of the code I had made, now usernames and passwords don't work at all. Help?

I found a method online to force firefox to save usernames and passwords which the site itself requested not to be saved. I made a backup of the file on my hard drive, moved it to the desktop, changed the code and tried it. It didn't work as expected so, I deleted that file, returned the original file to it's appropriate place and restarted firefox. Now it won't save ANY passwords or user names, even on sites it previously did so. I've tried reinstalling over the existing copy, and would REALLY prefer not to uninstall/reinstall since I have a ton of bookmarks, addons etc, which I don't want to have to restore. Has anyone encountered this issue? or have a suggestion on how to fix it?

Do you still see names and passwords in the Password Manager?
Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
You can still reinstall Firefox. Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected.

  • New installation. XE 11.2 Passwords don't work.

This is my first attempt at Oracle Database.
    OS: Windows XP Pro sp3
Install went ok. Specified a database Username and Application Express Username. Same password for both.
Initially I was able to log in no problem. But have not been able to log in again. I am totally locked out and don't know what password it is expecting.
    Have tried
    c:\SQLPLUS / as sysdba
SQL> ALTER USER SYS identified by newpswd
    didn't work
    c:\lsnrctl stop
    c:\lsnrctl start
    didn't work.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks in advance.

You have change database user SYS password. That is not affecting Apex passwords.
It is not quite clear at least for me , where you are not able to login and using witch user name.
    1. database using SQLplus or other SQL client?
    2. Apex workspace?
When you try login to Apex, try password you did set during install.
If you are able to login to Apex INTERNAL workspace, change there needed passwords.
You can also create another user to INTERNAL workspace so you do not need use user ADMIN.

  • E1200 modem: Username and Password don't work! help!

We cannot allow other devices (computers etc) on our network. the only one allowed is the one thats set up the network originally. I've contacted our internet provider, spyware and everyone else and they say its within the router. And the username and password on the laptop do not allow us in. Other devices say "authentication problem" or they are just not capable of getting onto the Wifi/Network. So, within our wireless network settings/properties we've gotten the name and pass key for going into our modem via the web...but it does not work. Need help with the username and password, the one we were given does not work......help? also, we do not have phone service where we live so calling and being on the computer is not possible....any email or forum step by step is the only capability. Thank you!

    Hello kreardon410,
Try to check if you have the Cisco Connect Software installed on one of the computers. Router's default log in is admin for the password and just leave the username blank. If you won't be able to access it still, you may reset and configure the router again.

  • Administrator username and password don't work

ok , I have a PowerMac G5, I am the only one who uses the computer, I set up a standard accoun and a admin account, now neither work for username or password, I can't even install my updates. I've tried every combination of usernames and passwords I've ever used, but nothing, any ideas

I have the same problem, but Disk Utility can't even find my hard drive! At "select the disk for which you want to change the password", there's a blank space.
Same thing for the Installer. I want to Erase & Install (have backed up my stuff to another harddrive via FireWire Target Mode), but the Installer can't find a hard drive, it can only find its own installer disk...
The strangest thing is that this morning, after 2 days of not being able to login and restarting and having no response from the computer, all of a sudden it opened with our normal desktopimages, as if all was well! However, it again too much time to do an operation, and when I restarted it, it was back at the question mark, next time at the black screen with white letters, up to what I just wrote above.

  • My username and password don't work to access MI424-WR Rev F router

I'm trying to access my router to upgrade to WPA2 and disable Upnp for my FTP client and for some reason the router will not accept my username and password for the router.  Currently the stock WEP settings are in place.  Need to get this done because I need to use FTP to upload my website to my domain online.  Any ideas?  I've tried the username and password several times, both as standalone, and in the form of email.

Try the username of admin, and the password of your router's Serial Number. Failing that, give the Rev. F a Factory Reset, log into the router at the same IP address, and finally, set a new password for the router. The default login, if prompted, is admin/password respectively.
Another good reason to use WPA2: The Rev. F is a Wireless N router, a Draft N that runs at 65Mbps at least. To comply with the N spec and to also get N speeds, you need to use WPA2 with AES Encryption. Use anything else, and you will not get the speeds you're looking for.
