often people have problems with lowercase vs. uppercase on the type of password input that the appletv offer
if you have an ios device you can try to use that as remote for putting in your appleID password in a more nautral way for you

My screen opened, and with every click the page (letters/images) got bigger. I can not get it to return to normal image size. I have to use the slide bar to read across the page. What do i do to correct it back to normal size???Hi jholzworth,
It sounds like you might have accidentally hit the zoom button. Try hitting ''CTRL + 0'' to return it to normal size. Just so you are aware, ''CTRL'' and ''+'' will zoom in and ''CTRL'' and ''-'' will zoom out.

Hello. I have an ipod touch 4th generation. I have been trying to work facetime and imessage for 3 days, i sign in with my user ID and it says signing in and verifying but then it goes back to the sign in page. Can anyone help?
I disabled all my computer's firewalls and sure enough, IT WORKED!! My iPod is updated and just now finishing restoring! Thank you SOOOO SOOO much. : D

Heat up the bottom rubber mat with a hairdryer for 5-10 minutes to loosen the adhesive, then pull the rubber mat away from the bottom metal plate carefully.
Then use a screwdriver to remove the 10-12 screws to open up the case. -

i don't have any experience with DLNA TV's but i recently moved my iTunes library to a NAS. streaming content to airport express remote speakers and TV2 works great. however, i have all my gear hardwired to my time capsule (except the airport express) so i'm not sure how well streaming e.g. HD movies to TV over wifi works.
i have a Synology DiskStation 411j and am very happy with it. -

I believe Gmail has an option for Two-Step verification that may require a different password for mobile devices than for your computer.

FaceTime was working fine then stopped. Wants me to sign in but fails to activate. I rebooted my IPad but that didn't help.

I've tried everything to do with connection problems in the Help article re: the iTunes store with no results. Also contacted Support, which referred me to the Help article and to the Support Communities i.e. here; no dice. I get the idea that something's mixed up here; they told me it was probably my internet connection rather than an iTunes issue, but according to my diagnostics the network is working perfectly fine. It has to be something on the far end - especially since there would appear to be no less than four people with the issue.

Built-in iSight not working-black screen with every application
I have a MacBook laptop version 10.6.2 and just recently my built-in isight stopped working. i've had this laptop for about 2 years now and there have never been problems with the isight. i downloaded skype because i tried using ichat and my friends computer wouldn't video chat when i used ichat, but when i used skype it worked. so i've been using skype for about a month now... and just recently, i'd say like 2 weeks ago i went to use skype and the screen was completely black. the sound works, my friend said she could hear me she just couldn't see me. so i went into photo booth to see if the camera worked with that, and its a black screen on that app too! and when i take a picture it counts down like it normally would, but it doesn't even produce a picture, just a blank in the line of pictures at the bottom.. i also went into ichat and it has the same thing-black screen. i think the computer detects the camera, because it never said that it didn't... just the screen is always black.
just some other info.... when i go to use an application that uses isight, the green light on the right side of the camera lights up.. nothing else really happens though.

Homesharing not working with my Apple TV2
I can't get homesharing to work. I type in my username and PW in iTune, I authorized my computer, but then Apple TV2 keeps telling me I need to turn on Homesharing on my computer? What's the deal?
After much groaning I think I have finally figured this out. My Apple TV worked fine for more than a year, then after an update it kept losing home sharing. I finaly noticed that this coincided with my computer display going to sleep. So after some investigation I changed my energy saver settings to NOT put the hard disk to sleep whenever possible. That seems to have taken care of it. I don't know why Apple couldn't figure this out.

I get info from Firefox that updates are available, or I go their website to get the latest updates. When the process starts, I get to a screen that says that I am connecting to the server. Nothing ever gets beyond this screen.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox. -

1- Watching HD video causes the image to flicker on long shots. My TV is a 40" Sharp Aquos from 2010. SD content seems fine. Tried several HDMI cables and no dice.
2- At random times, the Apple TV 2 will lose all the information from my itunes libraries. It'll still connect but give me the message "There are no items" or something similar. My current workaround is to disconnect from home sharing, then reconnect and enter my username and password with the Apple remote (remote app on iPhone no longer works at this stage) which is a pain, because my PW is complicated.
Any solutions?

There may be a couple of reasons for this. It may simply be poor encoding. Alternatively stuttering can become quite noticeable on panned shots when the the framerate of the video does not match the TV output frequency.
2- At random times, the Apple TV 2 will lose all the information from my itunes libraries. It'll still connect but give me the message "There are no items" or something similar. My current workaround is to disconnect from home sharing, then reconnect and enter my username and password with the Apple remote (remote app on iPhone no longer works at this stage) which is a pain, because my PW is complicated.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.
