My pasword in hotmail is not working

I cannot acces my hotmail account because pasword is not working

Did you have Firefox save your password? Perhaps an error was saved. You can clear the saved passwords here:
Firefox > Preferences > Security > "Saved Passwords"
If you did not save the password and are typing it manually, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache
Firefox > Preferences > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site,
Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
The search box in the dialog should show live.com (it is unlikely to show hotmail.com any more).
After clearing the cookies, reload the page and try logging in again. Does that help?

  • Facebook and Hotmail will not work on my Macbook pro

Facebook and Hotmail will not work on my Macbook pro. I have tried safari and firefox. I have unloaded and reloaded an old version of firefox and still no luck. When go to ebay it opens but looks very weird. I am using Mac OS X Version 10.6.6 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I am so frustrated, I have tried everything I can think of and still no luck.

Good of you to offer the detail you did (a lot of people don't bother) but it still is not quite enough. Texting that it "looks very weird" just leaves me blank. Most basic remedy for browser issues is to use Safari to google "adobe flash" and download a fresh file & install. Can't think of anything else given what you've posted....

  • I am having real problems with my hotmail account not working on my iMac

How are you accessing Hotmail?  Via your web browser?  Are you using Apple Mail?  Outlook?
The answer will be different depending on how you want to access Hotmail.
If you are using an email client (like Apple Mail, Outlook, Entourage, etc.)) then you need to set up a mail account in your email software.
The incoming Hotmail settings are these:
    Incoming server: pop3.live.com
User name: Your full Hotmail email address (aka "me @ hotmail.com" or "me @ live.com")
    Password: Your Hotmail password
    POP port: 995
Use SSL to connect : yes
    The outgoing Hotmail settings are:
    Outgoing server: smtp.live.com
User name: Your full Hotmail email address
    Password: Your Hotmail password
SMTP port: 587 (override the default port if necesssary)
Use SSL to connect : yes

  • Hotmail is not working under ISO 6.1.3 (iPad 3 or iPhone 4S)

My Hotmail account is not working at all it all IOS 6 devices including IPad3, iPad4, iPhone4S and iPhone5 starting today. I get different messages like:  "Checking for mail" or Cannot Get Mail. This has never happend to me since I bought these devices last year. I have deleted the Hotmail account and added a new one without success. I have also rebooted the devices many times. I have tried to create the email account as a Hotmail or Exchange account.  It just doesn't work anymore.
    Two more pieces of info:
    - the Hotmail app doesn't work either
    - the only way to get into Hotmail is via a browser (Safari, Chrome)
    tks in advance.

Seems to be a Hotmail issue.

When I click on reply the return address appears briefly on the screen but disappears almost immediately. When I try to type in the return address I'm tole hotmail is not able to complete.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

  • My hotmail is not working with E72-Help please

I'm having this problem in reverse..
I don't have a Hotmail account and don't need a Hotmail mailbox on my Nokia Messaging.
However, when I installed the Windows Live Messenger app from Ovi Store, it automatically created a Hotmail mailbox in my Nokia Email.  Since i was trying out the Windows Live Messenger only, I removed it after I tried it out.  Right now, there's a nonfunctioning Hotmail mailbox still in my Nokia Email that I couldn't delete nor access...  Still finding a solution on how to totally completely remove it (since the Hotmail mailbox doesn't appear in the settings portion of Nokia Email/Messaging unlike the Yahoo or Gmail mailboxes which I've defined and created on my E72)
Your device has to be online with the NM server to delete the mailbox.
How do I go online with the NM server?
I only use my home wifi to connect to the Internet and update my emails on the E72.
Also, the Hotmail mailbox exists only in the Home->Messaging menu but not in the Home->Email menu.   From what I know, there's a Connect menu option in the Home->Email menu, but there's no "Hotmail" mailbox on my Email menu.

  • Hotmail will not work properly in Firefox 18

I have firefox 18 and for no apparent reason hotmail no longer works the way it should. Worked perfectly fine before I went to bed 9 hours ago last night. The page loads I can check boxes, but I can not open up emails or delete, new email, forward any of that stuff. Other than installing some windows updates last night I have not made any changes to my computer that should be effecting this. It works fine in Chrome so this is something on Mozilla's end. I've looked through older posts about this and none of the solutions worked. I uninstalled fox it reader, added hotmail, live, passport, all of that to my "allowed" list in the security, checked/unchecked the box the content/JavaScript place.
DO NOT post any comments about how stupid or slow hotmail is. I've had this same account for almost 10 years now and I'm not creating a whole new email. If your not going to post anything useful or informative, than do not post at all!

  • The Insert Bar in hotmail is not working. Can't use Attachment etc. Have Silverlight enabled. Please advise.

The hotmail insert bar not working has started ever since hotmail was upgraded. I can attache files to my gmail account but as I use hotmail regularly, it is inconvenient. Sometimes this problem disappears on its own. And it happens with Firefox as well as IE 6.0. Can some one help out please?

I had the same problem and after much internet searching. It helped when I realized they called that an "insert bar" I was looking for why my attachment option was gone. I found a solution that works. Turn off your Silverlight addon. Tools/Addons/Plugins then Disable. The insert bar is not coming up properly because of this addon. I disabled it and cleared my cache and have had no trouble since.

  • Why is Hotmail Calendar not working with latest version of Firefox

iSight is the camera.  I expect you mean that Skype will not recognize the camera.
    (1) Did you restart Mac and try again?
    (2) Did you use Disk Utility to repair permissions before and after installing Skype?
    (3) Because Skype is your only problem app, have you checked Skype support such as
       https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10931/   and
       https://support.skype.com/en-us/category/VIDEO/
There are Skype-specific tips there that may help you.
Do NOT add any drivers.  All needed iSight driver software is included in your OS X 10.6.8
You can also search Skype's dedicated forum for Mac http://community.skype.com/t5/Mac/bd-p/Mac
    (4) Your first download or install may have been faulty.  If you have not already done so, try downloading the latest Skype version again and reinstalling? Remember to repair permissions before and after the reinstall.

  • Hotmail account not working on Yosemite's Mail app

I've tried everything I've found on the internet so far trying to get my hotmail account to work the way it was before my update to Yosemite, with no success. A few days ago it stopped syncing messages properly, and now it just shows them as downloading but it never finishes the syncing.
I even left it working overnight with the mail app open, nothing else, prevented from going to sleep mode or shutting down, and it kind of worked, downloading some of the messages that were pending, but others just won't do it no matter what. I've tried Deleting the Account, restarting and Adding it again, also tried changing the imap server information to different options I've found, no difference.
I also tried Outlook for Mac with all my accounts, and the hotmail account seemed to work better which means the problem is between Mac Mail and the Hotmail account itself. The problem is I don't want to use Outlook for Mac because showed other problems with my Gmail accounts, which renders it unsuitable to handle all my mail accounts. Apple Mail was flawless until my update to Yosemite, not cool.
Does anybody have the same issue?
    Thanks!

Same here.  I, too, have tried everything, including removing and re-adding the Hotmail account and SMTP servers, rebooting, you name it.  Some folders seem to sync sometimes, but some do not ever.  The main inbox does not sync at all.  In addition, the problem seems to be strictly with Apple Mail on my iMac and MacBook Pro.  The issue does not occur on my iPhone 6 or iPad Mini.  I was very pleased with Apple Mail until now.

  • TS3899 Hotmail account not working in iPhone 5 mail app

At first I thought it was a COS, College of the Sequoias,  as in the college I'm going to,  Hotmail situation BUT  it turns out it's a Hotmail in general situation because my other Hotmail account doesn't show my inbox or sent mail at all. I sent up my Hotmail account properly, go to it on the mail app, click on it and the inbox is empty. So is the sent box. Go to hotmail on the browser..there's all my mail! Just not in my Hotmail account in the mail app! I tried to set  my Hotmail account on Jennifer's iPhone 4S.. No luck. Same thing happened when I tried on mum's iPad!
The strange thing is my COS hotmail account WAS set up on their BEFORE then iOS6 update just flawlessly. I get my iPhone 5 and decide to delete my email accounts from the iPad now that I have my phone. When hotmail decided to go all wonky I tried resynchronize my COS hotmail on the iPad again because I know it worked there. But I had updated the software since then. Thus it not working now!
My gmail and yahoo accounts  are working flawlessly on my mail app however the Hotmail..not so much! I've been doing some research on the net..could the update be the problem?? If so, I can't wait for the iOS 7 software update!

  • Why is hotmail is not working with Firefox?

I can log into hotmail then the "Messenger" tab just shows "loading". Whatever I click on nothing happens. If I go to Hotmail through Explorer everything works fine. How to I correct the problem through Firefox?

Thank you for your interest in Adobe Flash Player. Unfortunately Apple does not allow Flash Player to be installed on iPhone or iPad.
May I add, this is the answer I get When I try to Download Adobe Flash Player
You get the message because that is exactly the situation. Apple has not allowed any Flash on iOS devices.
What site are you trying to see? Many sites now provide Flash alternatives. For example, if you want to listen to Pandora, instead of using the Flash on the Pandora website, instead you download the Pandora app for the iPad.
In the future, even if Apple wants to add Flash to the iPad, it won't be able to because Adobe will no longer be making it at all, for any mobile device:
    http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2011/11/adobe-kills-mobile-flash/
If you often go to sites that use a lot of Flash and they don't have an alternative, you should write to them and tell them to stop using Flash.

  • Hotmail will not work right

My hotmail account suddenly will not respond to commands while using Firefox, but it works just fine if I switch over to Safari. How do I fix this??

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

  • The attachment link for the new hotmail is not working - 1 March 2013

    Hi there
I have just recently upgraded to the new hotmail platform on 1 March 2013. Found out that the attachment file link is not active when you compose a new message. When you click on it, nothing happens. My current Safari version is 6.02. Before that, everything was well. I have posted this question on the microsoft community and got a reply with a link to post my concerns here instead. The new attachment link however is working on IE & Firefox browsers (I checked on my friends' browsers). Could someone please advice & help. Thank you
    Cyn05

    Hope this photo helps.

  • Hotmail links not working

With upgrade from Firefox 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 all hotmail links will not open. The hotmail webpage seems to load correctly and shows all emails in the inbox but then no links on the webpage work. Therefore cannot open any emails.
Therefore have to open Internet Explorer to read emails.

I have the same trouble after upgrading to Firefox 11 with the peculiarity that IExplorer stopped working properly with Hotmail, too. The safe-mode did not help, neither the relaxing of overall system internet options
