i have purchased a pathology book through adobe and my old hard drive broke, the new computer i have a passport from old one which i back up, when i log into my adobe, the book i purchased, had blank pages, i would like to get my book back please, my exam is in 3 months

Your GMail email is on Google's server, so you should find the same messages there that you saw before. However, any bookmarks, saved passwords, etc. that you did not sync with Weave or another solution that backs up your settings to some place on the web would need to be rescued from your old computer.

When creating a photo book in iPhoto, is it possible to move completed pages to a new book?

I have worked all day on a photo book, used up the allotted 100 pages, and still have more photos I want to use. I am going to create a "Volume 2" but am wondering, in order to make the two volumes comparable in page quantity, can I move some of my completed pages from Volume 1 to a second volume? How?

Start the volume 2 as a copy of the first book.
Ctrl-click the first book and select "Duplicate". That will craete an exact copy the first volume.
Now delete the pages that you want to move to the second volume from the first volume and the pages that you want to remain in the first volume fronm the second.

Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store, so you won't be able to redownload them via the Purchased link. Do you have a copy of them on your iPod or on your backup of your downloads/library ? If not, and if they are still in your country's store, then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

How can I stop Address Book (Lion) from printing an extra blank page when I print an envelope

Whenever I print a mailing envelope in Lion's Address Book, it prints fine but then prints a blank page following. How can I stop this?

HP printers for years have had a problem printing an extra envelope from the Apple Addressbook Application with the # 10 envelope.
Solution: Select a #9 envelop. This prints about the same size and does not have an extra envelop.
How to: From Address book, select print, Style: Envelopes, Layout: Layout pulldown Official 9 then print
Interestingly the two smaller and two larger sizes only print one envelope. You can test this by clicking pdf and open pdf in preview.
Over the years I have called HP and they couldn't solve the problem.
I have told Apple today when I figures out the workaround.

Can I order a book containing blank pages?

I'd like to give someone an iPhoto album as a gift, but with some blank pages at the end so that my friend can add a few of her own prints in the future. Is this possible? Would the blank pages have placeholders or something to hold the prints?

VoiceOver is a great feature on the iPhones. I am sorry you are not able to turn it on. You have come to the right place. When you go into VoiceOver and you hit OK. Then double tap where it says on. This will turn this feature on. If you are wanting to remove the feature you would do the same thing but double tap on the OFF.

No one knows.
The usual Adobe policy in the past is if you purchase a version of Lightroom and within 30 days a newer version comes out, they will give you a free upgrade. The problem is, Adobe never pre-announces when the new version will be coming out. (And of course, Adobe could announce a different policy for Lightroom 6)
So, its up to you whether you buy now or wait.

For example so that I can just press shift or another key to get the German character.

Some may already exist, but you will have to learn them. On my old system these can be found through keyviewer.app For example, if I press option+s I get ß Umlaut is a bit cumbersome as option+u then the actual letter. It may be possible to bind a key to do this function, possibly through System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts
I have old, old references for utilities that let you rebind keys to other functions, and you would have to see if they have modern equivalents.

I can no longer synch music library and audio books, it says can only be synched with one of the libraries, anyone else had this?

i had to reboot my laptop, so reloaded itunes sofware, im now finding that when i'm synching my Iphone to synch audio books ive downloaded, , it says its synched with another itunes library ( my music) do i want to erase this iphone and lsynch with this iphone library, the music percentage at the bottom reduces to 0% in prep to erase.

try a new/fresh apple brand cable and make sure it is the only usb cable in use. this worked for me, i noticed i had no problem with a lighting cable. i did a restore from scratch and from backup and it did not help me...and if you cant sync than you wont be able to get anything but apps back after the restore

It won't show up on your Apple TV until it is fully downloaded into iTunes on your computer, have you done this.

The Keyboard and mouse work great with the laptop lid open but when closed in the docking station the bluetooth signal does not seem to transmit. Is there a setting that can be changed to allow an Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to wake the computer while docked?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
