My PC broke down, and I bought a MacBook, how do I get all the stuff from my Iphone to Mac?
My computer was completely destroyed, so I bought the new MacBook Air. But I used my old PC to sync everything with my iphone, info, calendar, notes, SMS, etc. How do I get everything out from the iPhone, so I can sync with iTunes without losing everything. And without spending money? Thnx for answers =)
iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer
On your MBook launch iTunes. From the menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer
The only thing that may not sync is the SMS.

Sky is right you can restore the old backup and it will not affect the old iPad
To make sure do this:
1. If you have the old one then just turn off wi-fi and the iPad (that's just for your peace of mind)
2. Put new iPad on airplane mode (just for no interruptions )
3. Connect it (while it's on, don't shut it down)
4. Follow prompts and when it asks if you want to setup as new or restore CHOOSE: RESTORE
5. It will make its magic (just wait for it to sync, restarts, and finishes) it might ask you to update software if it does just accept
6. You can rename your new iPad like that you can have a fresh back up
7. ENJOY your new iPad

1. Do the above steps 1, 2, 3.
2. On step 4 you can choose to set up as new
3. Then you can choose what to sync on it (click on iPad on the left panel then the tabs on top you choose what you want on it (you can also do that if you restore)
4. Follow steps 5, 6, 7.
****If you don't have your old iPad you can remove it from your account ****
****Also when they sync it to a new computer it will setup as new unless they had an old one then they will restore it their old one****
****if you have it connected with your MobileMe or iCloud and you have the find my _____ you can also wipe it as soon as it comes online****

How do I get all the songs from an album to show in the album view? Currently, if an album lists the artist plus a guest artist, those are shown separately and appear to be two different albums on my iPod. How do I get all the songs on that album together on my iPod? If the album is a collaboration wtih many artists, each sond may appear as a separate album.
I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist

These should be separate for each artist
If you write the same album artists for each song by that artist, all the songs should be on 1 album -
I updated my 4S iPhone and now I am getting all the texts from another iPhone on my plan. What do I need to do?
I'm not completely clear on the GSM / LTE network frequencies in US vs Argentina, but I do know that cross-compatibility can be an issue when buying from one country and using in another. Apple products in particular have this problem. What this sounds like to me is that the phone is not compatible with Argentinian networks; or your friend had an AT&T phone and jail-broke it. This is against the end user licensing agreement, and when the phone is next updated is likely to jam the phone.

my iphone has been water damaged and in the mean time ive gone back to using my old phone. But i need to get all the contacts from my iphone i had synced to my laptop, but i don't know where to find them and im not sure if ive backed them up to anything!
If your contacts are synced to your computer then they are in the supported app you are syncing with.
When you set up syncing of contacts on your device, which application did you select? -

How can I delete all the music from my iPhone and reinstall it?
I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it. The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs. I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone. And two of the albums (I only have albums, not individual songs) are duplicated on the phone, though they are not in my iTunes library.
I have gone into iTunes, selected the device at the top right corner, selected all the music that showed up in the window - gone to the Edit menu, selected "all" and then "delete." The list of tracks disappears from the device list. I then synced the phone again, and the albums are still on the phone. What am I missing, please? I've even shut the phone down and restarted it, synced it again, but nothing changes.

Iam new to Apple apart from my IPod. All of my devices have different music on them and I want all of my music on all of the devices, how do I go about this. Some has been purchased from ITunes so that has been fine, but other stuff purchased from other online stores and my old CD's I put onto my IPad via an old PC I have no idea how to get onto everything.

You'll need to get it all onto one iTunes collection on your Mac Pro, then sync the devices to that. iTunes only lets you transfer purchases from a device, otherwise you have to use third party software.
I guess you could also look into getting iTunes Match. -
My contract at Verizon was up so I decided to renew and replace my Droid with an IPhone 4S. I had them transfer the contact information at the Verizon store from my currently active IPhone 4 (an AT&T account) to the new IPHone 4S - this they did and its fine.
Now I want to duplicate whats on my iPhone 4 to the new IPhone S - so I went to ITunes and backed up my Iphone 4. When that was done I hooked up my new IPHone 4S to ITunes in order to restore the apps, photoos and all to the new IPhone 4S.
However ITUnes said the phone will not pair with iTunes??
Whta must I do ?

I lost everything on my computer. My iphone 4 has all the things i need on it when i try to sync it itunes tells me it is going to clear the phone I have already atherized the new computer.
You may be able to buy a program to do this - not supported by Apple.
the ipod is not a storage device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchaes.
The music should be on a computer as that is where they came from in the first place. -
Hi...i bought the new iphone 4 and would like to ask how can i transfer all my data from my old iphone to the new one? If I will do "synchronization" through itunes with the old phone and the plug in the new one will that be the case?

How do I get all the music on my IMAC in one ITUNES folder? We have one IMAC, with 3 sign ons for me and my 2 teens. When you add a song under one of the sign ons it doesn't add it to all 3 libraries. Before I updated to LION, We had one main library with all the songs we bought, imported from cd's etc. Then any of the three of us could add it to our own IPOD instead of buying the song agin. It is one house, one IMAC. It was working fine under Leopard.
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Did you move to iOS 8 via iTunes? Your photos should all be on your iPhone 5s without any issues even if you updated via WiFi. The update should have no impact on your photos other than to have moved any photos in your former Camera Roll to your Photos. When opening the Photo App you should see Photos and Albums available at the bottom of the screen. You can also look at Settings>General>About and looking down the list your should see the word Photos and a Count at the right. This count should represent all of the photos in your iPhone.
