My pc crashed and I want to reinstall software

I purchased a note book sometime in December of 2013, I attempted to install an updated version of windows 8 but it caused my pc to crash. I now wish to reinstall the original version of windows 8 but I dont know what exactly to do. Can anyone help me please?

If you created Recovery Media you should boot from them to reinstall Win 8. If you didn't make a Recovery try the process here titled "Recovery when Windows 8 does not open correctly"

OK, I can tell I'm annoying you, for that I apologize. I am not a pro at this. I purchase LR 3 yrs ago and used it up until my computer crashed. It was the one I told you about. My hard drive crashed and I restored my computer with my daughter's hard drive (her battery was dead) and I want to install my personal itunes on the new hard drive. Thank you.Without a backup of your "crashed" HD you will have to download your iTunes purchases again. Make sure your restored computer is running the latest version of iTunes.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On your restored computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
When you want to play your newly downloaded music, you will have to "authorize" it. Don't worry about the lost HD until enough of your computers crash that you reach the limit of 5. Then you can "deauthorize all" and re-authorize as necessary.

My desktop crashed and I had to reinstall itunes software. My iphone has all my apps with their data, contacts, photos, videos & music. How can I import all of the information and data on my iphone into itunes? I downloaded one app that is a to-do-list but it indicates that if I sync with my iphone I will lose all data on my iphone and it will be replaced with the data on itunes. I do not want to lose my data! I have a lot of information and I cannot understand why Apple would not have a way to restore my data from my iphone to my itunes. PLEASE HELP!
It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. The loading bar at the bottom of my Firefox browser has suddenly disappeared and I want to reinstall or reactivate it. How do I do this please and what is this bar called? I use the latest version of Firefox 3.6.3 and Windows XP. I have many add ons and I usually automatically install the recommended updates.
