My iphone is not being recognised when I connect to itunes on my pc anymore. Can anyone help please?

Do you get any response from the computer when you plug the phone in? I'm guessing that you are going into Computer to see if you find the phone? If you go into Device Manager, do you see any errors in the USB area?

Why does deleted content reappear on my iPhone when I connect via USB?
I recently upgraded from a 3GS to a 4S, and I'm having an issue that's never been a problem before. I notice that music or video that I delete from my iPhone reappears when I connect to iTunes via USB. Nothing is moved over, either: the videos are just listed as if never removed.
I am deleting this videos by swiping across after viewing on phone. They disappear, so I am not overlooking anything on that front. Similarly, I don't sync video or music -- I have manual management checked in iTunes.
Any ideas what might be happening, and how I can fix it?And almost 2 years later this is still happening - I delete TV Shows and Movies from my iPad 2 (iOS6) or iPhone (iOS6) and as soon as I connect the devices to my mac by USB they reappear (even though my setting is to manually manage everything). This then screws up syncing like this morning where I tried to add 2 new movies - as it was syncing I realised that the previous 2 had reappeared so I wouldn't have space to add them. I deleted them via iTunes and the sync appeared to be successful - until I turned on the iPad on the train to be greeted by a message saying that the 2 items couldn't be synced.

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. Have a BETA version of 0S-7 that was on my iPhone5 that I bought from my son. Activated it with my Apple ID and it's been working great for over a month.
Last night my phone came up with a screen that said "Activate iPhone". So i've tried to no avail.
When hookup up via USB cable to iTunes on laptop, a message pops up that says: "The software on my iPhone has expired and must be updated to a newer version".
How do I do that?

I have a Canon LBP5360 laser printer connected via USB cable to my MacPro running 10.6.8
I have downloaded the latest UFR II driver. (UK Version)
I am trying to connect to the printer but the printer is not appearing in my Print/Fax Preferences.
When I click the box "More Printers" under the Default printer the drop down box gives me a heading "Canon IPv6 (UFRII) with the option to add or cancel. (The add is highlighted). But there are no printers showing in the box. Nothing. Can anyone help?

My MacBook Pro shuts down when i connect a USB cable, only when its a 30 pin apple cable. Well one USB shuts it down and the other one doesn't work at all.
it only happens when i use an apple cable. It has no problem with my external drive nor with other things.
Ps. i did use different apple cables and they all shut it down.What are you connecting? iPad, iPhone, what?
When you say a 30-pin Apple cable do you mean a Lightening to USB cable?

My Macbook is getting freeze when i connect with USB cable
After I updated to OSX 10.7.4 Lion (Default 64bit).I try to use the touch panel device that I using before. But it keeping occur system freeze when I connect the usb cable.
Sometime I can operate it normal but the percentage is very low.
What 's the problem on?Could be a bad cable or the device isn't compatible with Lion and it is causing problems.

I've seen older threads on this issue but I don't think I've really come across any solutions. My issue started yesterday; now before reading further I have to ask that you please keep in mind that I did perform the latest upgrade on my iPhone a bit earlier in the day.
When I connect my iPhone to my vehicle sync system and announce that I'd like to connect via USB, the voice recognition repeats my request and then the music on my iPhone shows to be playing on the display in my vehicle. The problem is that though the music appears to be playing and the minutes played are being displayed there is no audio coming through. When I switch to the Bluetooth Audio option all sound comes through.
Now, as a 2nd test, we connected my sons iPhone 5s via USB (he has not taken the latest update on his iPhone) and the same issue happens with his. Voice recognition changes to the USB format as requested, music appears to be playing but no audio is heard. When we change his phone to Bluetooth Audio the audio comes through nice and clear.
I'm not entirely convinced the update caused the issue so I wanted to put this out there to see if anyone has run into this and were able to actually resolve the issue.
I know the USB cable is working fine because when I do plug it into either phone the phone makes the little connection sound and pops up a brief battery percentage box. I also know the cable is working because when we announce USB as our audio of choice the system recognize USB via the iPhone.
One other thing I tried looking for was the option on the phone to switch from Docked to Synch - I know on my iPhone 4 I was able to switch back and forth through iTunes and would also have the option if I tried to watch anything via You Tube when connected to the dock; I cannot find this anywhere on the 5s when connected via USB.
Help is greatly appreciated!!!I have had similar troubles with wifi.. some improvement removing BlackBerry desktop software & drivers & reinstalling after reboot... I used the same installer I had previously, but a fresh downloaded installer couldn't hurt...

I am trying to connect my iphone to my pc via USB to get my pic's on my pc. I have done this before with no problem. I simply plugged in my iphone and a pop-up came up in the bottom right corner of my computer screen saying device recoginzed (or something like that). I clicked on it and hand no issues. Now when I plug in my iphone all it does is show on the phone like it's being charged but no pop up on my computer. I even went into itunes and it doesn't recognize it there either. Usually I go to my library and in the right top corner there is a "Device" button to click on but it's not there anymore. What should I do?

I do not have audio output when my guitar to usb cable is plugged into my ipad
I have a guitar to USB cable, I have the USB adapter for my iPad. I am trying to record my guitar in garageband, when the guitar to USB cable is plugged in I cannot hear anything, not even the metronome. If I try to playback what I recorded I cannot hear it, even with headphones. I unplug the cable and I can hear. I don't know what I am missing so that I can hear my guitar through the amp while I am recording.

My computer (windows) is not recognising my new iPhone when plugged in. It was fine with my old iPhone 3. Any suggestions?
My girlfriend had this same issue. It ended up being her cable.
It was very weird and confussing as the first cable would allow the phone to show up on my laptop but not my girlfriends. So we thought the cable was fine.
Further the first cable would allow the iPhone to sync with itunes on her laptop but not show up in her "My Computer."
By chance we tried a different cable and it worked fine on her laptop and instantly showed up in her "My Computer."
All very weird but try a couple different cables and see if that fixes the problem first before resorting to other time consuming steps.
