  • Voice over always on - How can I shut if off?

somehow, voiceover has decided to turn itself, and I can't shut it off....
Disabling voice over in the universal access system preference does not shut it off.
Deleting the user's universal access preference plist as well as voice over's preference plist does not shut it off
Rebooting does not shut it off.
Zapping the PRAM does not shut it off.
How do I stop voiceover from activating itself? It's driving me nuts!
    Thanks in advance

command f5 only works until I log in/out or reboot...
When the computer boots up, it does not automatically log in. So, at the the login window on a fresh reboot, voice over has activated itself. Command f5 will shut it off, and when I log into either user account (there are 2 accounts on the machine) voice over is not active. However, as soon as I log out and return to the log in screen, voice over has re-activated itself.
If I reboot from an account (when voice over is not active), then it will be active after the computer boots and while it waits at the login screen...
    Thanks!

Open your Preference window & click on Universal Access. Make sure Voice Over is turned Off. You may have turned it On by depressing the Command+F5 keys.

  • In my galaxy s4 turned on camera, how do i shut it off

In my galaxy s4 my camera, but don't know how to shut it off

Do you mean the shutter sound? Or the camera its self?
    Shutter sounds:

To turn off the camera from the phone screen, simply push your home key to get back to your main screen. The owners manual is always the best place to find out how to operate your device.

  • Appleworks irritating warnings  - how do you shut them off?

When printing usually a message appears: "Some margins are smaller . . . Your document may be clipped."
The document is never clipped. I know what my margins are and what the capacity of my printer is.
How do I stop this irritating message?
    iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    A couple more thoughts.
If you're still getting the error message on a document you had previously printed with the "any printer" page setting, there might be some imbedded information in the file. Try saving the file as an AppleWorks 5 file & then open it in AppleWorks 6. This is a trick Yvan often suggests & it can strip that info from the file.
You still might have the margins set smaller than the minimums for your printer model. You should be able to find what the minimums are in the printer manual, but I wouldn't count on it. A trick I read a long time ago is to open a new AppleWorks draw document, go to Page Setup... & choose your print & then go to Format > Document you will see the default margins. Of course, if you're using a template you made or have already changed the margins, this won't work.
Since AppleWorks 6 was written & released prior to OS X & is really an OS 8/9 application carbonized to run in OS X, it doesn't understand a lot of OS X. The default printer set in System Preferences is one.
I don't recall if you said what make & model of printer you are using. That info might help with doing more troubleshooting.

    Hi,
The digital camera actions on the computer are controlled by its Operating System.
