My Pc Suite message boxes don't match my 6230i mes...

When I connect my 6230i to my pc suite, I check my phone messages, but they don't match the messages or 'My Folders' contents, could anybody help me please?

How do I add a Message Box if calculations don't match?

I am developing a form where the user inputs an amount on field Amt, then distributes that amount into up to six "funds" fields (Budget1, Budget2, Budget3...), which determine where the money will come from. I created a screen-only verification field (AmtVerif) that allows the user to see if the divided funds add up to the total shown on Amt.
I want AmtVerif to:
1. add up the amounts on fields Budget 1-6 (which I managed to do using FormCalc)
2. match the total with the entered value on Amt
3. pop-up an error message that says "You went over the total", or "Please verify the allocation of funds" in case totals don't match.
I tried using "if" expressions with FormCalc in the Validate and Exit Events, and although they seem to be correct, they do not show the error message. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Thank you for responding! I just re-created my fields in the same form you attached, so now you can see exactly what I did.
The last field (AmtVerify) contains the calculation piece, but now I need to match that total with the amount on the first field, and enable the error messages in case it goes above or below the original amount.

How do I get blue and white boxes and No Matches Found message to stop showing on launch?

This is a very annoying problem. I have a brand new client and right now, the first thing he and every student will see is some ugly blue and white boxes with No Matches Found message. It disappears very quickly. But it happens even when I use a preloader.
If you could help me get rid of this, I would be very grateful!

I tried a small experiment with a few slides that did not have Advanced Actions, using your advice. If I don't use a TOC, the disturbance is very minimal, but as soon as I add back a TOC, even just the default one, it displays the No Matches Found and the blue and white squares!
At least you found the problem area.
Any other ideas about how we could get rid of this ugly thing?

I assume that you have Wireless Security enabled on your AirPort's wireless network. The issue maybe that the PC is unable to use the WPA password itself and will require using the Equivalent Network Password instead.
To get this password, you will use the AirPort Utility from the MacBook:
Start the AirPort Utility > Select the AirPort base station > Manual Setup
Now, before doing anything else, go up to the utility's menu bar at the top of the screen, and then, choose "Base Station," and then, Equivalent Network Password from the drop-down menu. You will see two items: 1) WPA Password, which should look familiar to you, and 2) WPA Pre-Shared Key. It should be a long hexidecimal set of numbers and letters. Jot down this second item.
You will want to use the value you just jotted down when entering the password from the Windows Visa PC.

Messages on the mac will only show iMessages sent from an iPhone, another mac, iPad etc etc...
It won't show SMS / Text messages.
If the messages are green on your iphone then they are text messages... Blue are iMessages

I contacted the IRA account managment company and they sais it's an Apple issue. Any ideas?

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.

Getting Error message ""This set top box does not match the account settings"

Just ordered a new wireless receiver for the bedroom. Installed it and now getting the following error "This set top box does not match the account settings". Service was suppose to be enabled on Monday the 4th, but I recieved the hardware early and turned it on. I've since rebooted and unplugged and tried everything to no avail. Any thoughts on how I might get this to work? Regards, Rick

your wireless receiver is misconfigured (dirty) and need to be scrubbed clean.
A tech (service visit) or tier 2 rep (phone or chat) can do this. The receiver needs to be unplugged, on the bottom of receiver is a GUI (long number) that will be needed to identify receiver, when instructed plug just the receiver in that gave number for, when that one is connected.
Your choice 4 hour appointment window, or time on phone , or chat.
If these have not been activated yet.... When screen comes up, depress OK on receiver, depress button on WAP, when the screen at receiver says try again, Depress OK button (remote or on stb) another screen for update, depress OK give about 10 minutes to load, reboot when checking depress menu to verify recordings, if no recordings menu not finished booting.

should take about 20 minutes per receiver.

I'm trying to share to Media Browser a 20 minute still slide show with music and text. I have tried several times to save at 1080 HD, but just before it's finished, a message box pops up saying "File already open with write permission." What's this mean?

What does this mean? All files are closed; this iMovie project is the only thing open. Does it mean one of the song files from iTunes? And should I just settle for saving it as a "large" file, which is what I'm trying right now?

My Message Box Code Is Not Doing What I want It to Do Visual Basic

I have Written Code To Show A message box "Saying The Address Already Exists" If the Addresses are already in my Database But if the Address is not in My Database then It gets Saved To my Database. (All works Ok so Far)
The Problem I have is, I want to put an If statement inside another if statement.. Because On the Message box I also have A message Saying "Or are you Updating This Address" with yes and No Buttons. And If I chose No Button then Nothing should
happen But If I chose the yes button then three text boxes are enabled so I can make changes to the record if needed. ie change of price or change of Address.

You did not assign a value to the message box. You needed to do:
res = MsgBox(etc.)
However, it is preferred to use the MessageBox.Show() method rather than the legacy MsgBox() function. Notice the difference in the output of ans with each of these boxes.

Initial Time Machine Backup. Event Store UUIDs Don't Match.

This is an initial backup and 25% (about 100 GBs) of the backup completed in 1 Hour. The remaining 75% (about 300 GBs) is stuck at the same place for 9 hours now.
I'm working on a MBP Mid-2009 15", 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X 10.5.8.
All software is up-to-date.
Backup Drive is a Seagate 2GB (USB), Formatted for Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

Spotlight has already been re-indexed.

Time Machine Buddy indicates only that the Event Store UUIDs Don't Match. No error messages. Other discussion posts say wait. Any other suggestions? Is there a way to reset the Event Store UUIDs?

Well, I dislike TM myself, never use it due to all it's quirks, & even IF it appears to work, when it comes time to use it/relly on it, you may find more quirks or nearly impossible to use.

Null pointer exception when message box code is called.

I have an application that invokes a Java Bean model. The java bean invokes a web service and fetches some data.
In my web dynpro app, in the onActionSearch method, I have a message box that informs the user if no results are returned and then they have other options via button actions from the message box that they can take.
Here is when the error occurs,
1) The user types in search parameters in the input fields and enters search, a valid result set is returned and displayed in the table
2) The user changes the input parameters in the input fields that returns no results so the message box should be displayed

But if I do the search the first time around using input parameters that I know won't return a result, the message box appears fine!!!

If you're able to boot, launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Select the most recent panic log under System Diagnostic Reports. Post the contents — the text, please, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header and body of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don't post "shutdownStall" or "hang" reports.
If you can't boot in the usual way, try a safe boot. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.

Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.

During startup, you’ll see a progress bar, and then the login screen, which appears even if you normally log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Safe mode is slower than normal, and some things won’t work at all.
Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you can’t boot in safe mode.

Send XML to client: message box

Hi,
In a BPM workflow I'm putting together, I need to open a message box for information
(title, message, OK button). In the documentation, I found that I should send
an XML document to a client that looks like this:

Which I did: I added a "Send XML to client" action in the "True" part of a decision
node with a message-box element and its attributes, and actionid as a nested element.
When I trigger the workflow, it goes through all the expected steps but the window
does not pop up at all. I could not find the reason why anywhere. So has anyone
experienced the same problem ? If yes, how did you solve it ?

Hi Sudhar.
I don't think your workflow will execute the next node before you mark the current
node as done. Conseqently setting the done in the decision box isn't possible.
