"My Perks"

When I'm on http://perks.verizon.com/, I can't see the Dining, Shopping, or Entertainment perks.  Clicking them gives sends me to My Verizon where it wants me to sign in.  I can only click on the Play to Win image.  This gives me a pop-under telling me about chances to win and sweepstakes junk.  If I click that, I'm ALSO sent to My Verizon and asked to sign in.  Signing in and pressing the back button apparently signs me out, and manually typing http://perks.verizon.com/ in the address bar also signs me out.  Is there any way to see what "my perks" is/are???  This seems like a pointless run-around.
Yes, JavaScript is enabled.  All software is up to date.  Cookies are enabled.  Pop-ups allowed, etc.

Perks is a Verizon, not a Verizon Wireless program. If you had a landline or Fios I suppose, you could log into your residential account and participate

  • Mapping of Perk value for Car transfer

    In our Company we have a scheme vide which Company's Car (which are Company's Assets) are transferred to the Employees at the depreciated value.
    As per IT Rules the same shall be calculated as Perk and added to the gross salary of the employee.
    The same is required to be mapped in the Payroll system of SAP.Can anyone suggest how to go about.

    Our Company is offering Security Deposits for housing (mainly in case of Mumbai Employees)  as Interest free loans and getting it recovered in 36 instalments.
    The perk value as per IT rules shall be added in the annual gross salary of the employee.Standard interest rate @ 14% shall be calculated and added in the perk of the employee.
    We want to map the same in our SAP Payroll system.Can anyone suggest how to go about.

THERE SHOULD BE A NOTE THAT SAYS BUYER BEWARE WE ARE PAID ON COMMISSION AND TELL YOU THAT IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY EVEN IF IT WAS A RAINFALL OR BLIZZARD OUTSIDE AS LONG AS THEY GOT YOUR ATTENTION.  AFTER OVER 1-HOUR CHECKING OUT PHONES AND ASKING QUESTIONS I DECIDED I REALLY LIKED THE DROID X2 WITH ALL THE WHISTLES AND BELLS AND THE 4G NETWORK "THAT WAS BEING UPGRADED IN THIS AREA", AFTER SPENDING ALMOST $500.00 AND TICKLED PINK WITH WHAT I WAS TOLD ABOUT THIS FABULOUS PHONE, WELL GUESS WHAT,  FIRST WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD SINC TO MY 08 FORD FUSION STEREO, "DONT WORK" YOU HAVE GOT TO HAVE A CERTAIN STEREO, SECOND, MY WONDERFUL 4G PHONE IS NOT A 4G PHONE AFTER-ALL IT IS A 3G PHONE !!!     After spending so much time looking at phones, did you not notice that SOME phones have 4G on the description and others DID NOT? The X2 was one of the phones that DID NOT have 4G on the description. I would have taken that as a hint.
    Second, the Droid X is NOT a 4G phone. It is 3G just like the X2.
    YES, the X2 has the capability to sync to the radio in the Ford Fusion. NO, not all trim levels of the Ford Fusion. When you bought your car, you were aware that it came in different trim levels, didn't you? Did you think that ALL trim levels had the same features? Did the sales rep go out and see your car? If not, how could you possibly think that the sales rep knew what trim level you had?
    You say that it is possible the sales rep could have been accidentaly gotten the 4G phones mixed up when he said the X2 was 4G. Well after spending so much time looking at different phones, some of which I am sure WERE 4G phones, I would think it is ALSO possible YOU could have gotten the 4G phones mixed up.
    And to finish off, bad news about the ETF. It starts at $350, not $325 for you each of your phones. Good news, though, is that it drops $10 for each month of your service you complete.

  • Posting of Perks with internal order

    We have maintained cost distribution infotype with subtype 01 for all employees. The regular salary as well as perks are posted using this distribution. Now we have a requirement to post mobile expenses with internal order. In FI Side profit centre is maintained in internal order master, one to one relationship. In IT 27 multiple cost centres are maintained, each cost centre is having separate profit centres, So when we are trying to maintain the internal order in It 27, system is restricting us.
    If we maintain another record in It 27 with custom subtype with internal order and one cost centre which is being maintained in internal order master.How to link one particular wagetype with custom subtype of IT27, so that it will get posted with internal order.

  • A custom perks wagetype not getting adding to taxable salary

    Hi experts.
    I need advice on the below issue.
    My client recently raised this issue. There is this custom perk wage type which they pay through Infotype 14. Now while generating form 16 the amount paid through this wage type is not getting added to Gross salary in F 16.
    I checked the configurations for this wage type in table V_512W_D  and found that it doesn't cumulate to anything(Total gross salary, Annual irregular income etc) and hence it is not getting added to Gross salary in F16. Which means due to wrong configuration of this wagetype the problem occured.
    Even if I correct the configuration now, the payroll has already been run and results cant be reversed as financial year 2014 books are closed now.
    So is there a way to add the custom wage type amount to Gross salary in F16. I explored table V_T52D3 and V_T52D4 but it cant be done through it.
    Kindly suggest how to correct this issue by atleast correcting the amounts in Form 16.

    I am talking about Gross salary total on page one and not the segregation of components of Gross salary on pg 2. In the segragation it can be added but can it be added in the total of Gross salary on page 1?

    You can purchase music using multiple accounts within the same Windows profile & using the same iTunes library. I think when you log into the store it remembers the last account name used, but provided you don't let it remember your password then you have the opportunity to enter the correct details for each purchase.
    If you're going to place these purchases on your respective iPod's the following may help.

Rather than regular playlists I set the grouping field to indicate which users should receive which tracks and create smart playlists based on the content of this field.

    "Alice's Tracks" is "Grouping contains Alice" + "Kind contains audio"
    "Bob's Videos" is "Grouping contains Bob" + "Kind does not contain audio"
    Tracks that both Alice & Bob want on their iPods have the grouping set to "Alice/Bob"
    etc.
    I currently manage our family's five iPods using this system, each getting a different selection to suit their tastes and the capacity of their iPod. An advantage of using the grouping field is that it is stored in file tags (for non-wav audio files anyway) so that it is relatively easy to recreate the playlists should the iTunes library get trashed. Also useful if you move files about manually as playlist membership is preserved when you delete & re-import the tracks.

  • Best format to offer video as Crowdfunding Perk

    Hello,
    Seemed the Lounge would be the best place for this, since it is more advice than strictly technical...
    I am working on a documentary which I have am crowdfunding for completion funds.  Perks include DVD copies of the film.  My questions are:
    1. I am in New Zealand, and the film was shot in a mixture of 25 and 50fps.
    2. Due to a mixture of footage sizes (archival, donated, etc), I am outputting at 720 rather than 1080 so I have some wiggle room.
    What is my best option for North America?
    DVD: Frame rate conversion issues
    BluRay: Is this a viable option?  I don't have a BluRay player so I don't know alot of what modern ones are capable of.  Can they play a 25 or 50p 720 disc? Do I convert to 24p?
    Download: Or, would I just be better off offering a hi-res download, though I'm not really keen on sending out something that easy to copy.  I could put a bug on the screen I suppose.
    It is a documentary on kayaking, so there is a lot of motion. I can't really fake my way around this.
    Any thoughts?

    The dvds and blurays I make are shot 25i and released as 29.97i. These will play in almost any player worldwide. About 50% of US players will not play 25 fps discs. I use an Alchemist hardware convertor to do the frame rate conversion, this cost about £300 per programme hour in a London post house. I have yet to see any way on how to make money in providing downloads, if anyone knows a way please chime in.

    I'm sorry, but everytime I turn around Verizon is taking away a perk or two.  Our company used to get an 18% discount and now Verizon has reduced that down to 15%, which is not any different than the other carriers who are invited to our office for business.  More and more I hear from others on this site and other social networking sites about how Verizon gets higher and higher and gives less and less.  I'm about ready to get a pre-paid phone from another (less expensive) carrier so that I can have a paycheck left.     Your company and Verizon negotiate the discount amount - it's not entirely Verizon that determines how much the discount is.  It sounds like your company is giving all carriers equal consideration....

  • Suggestion for Perk

    My suggestion is if you are giving Verizon customers perks, then give us perks. Is this just to sell gift cards or as I suspect to get people to try and buy Verizon Products. You save nothing on most of the gift cards and on others you save 5% which is not a perk. Example California Pizza Kitchen you can get a $25 gift card for $25 or a $50 gift card for $50 and you have to pay shipping. That is not a perk. That is a purchase. You'd better get some good perks because Verizon customers are great people and they deserve real perks.

    Kindly help out in the Hard Furnishing perks Config.
    I need to maintain Hard Furnishing for the employee. So, I have chked the following tables where the values are maintained with custom WT - 5213 :
    -  V_T7INA5 : HI01,HI02
    -  V_T539A  : Default WT 5213
    -  V_T511  :   Checked WT Characteristics
    -  V_ T511K : HFPRC = 10%
    -  V_T7INA7 : Created 5213
    -  V_T7INA9 : RAPS - HI01 - 5213

    FEATURE: 40 LTR , 40ECS MAINTAINED
    So, here when I try to maintain the data in PA30 for the staff, it throws an error as : Hard Furnishing Scheme is not available for (employee code) on (date).
    Please help out ASAP.

  • Income Tax/Annual Perk Computation for rehired employee is incorrect

    Hi All,
               One of our employees retired on 30.9.11 was rehired on 30.11.2011 with the same employee number.  After rehiring we had delimited  IT 581 up to 30.9.11 and further a new entry was maintained from 1.12.2011. In the salary slip for Dec 11, in  the Income tax yearly computation six months Rent has been deducted from the Annual gross, which is not required.
               Kindly suggest how this issue can be rectified.

        I raised an OSS for the issue. SAP support has provided me with a solution. The  steps are as follows:
         1. When rehiring period split for payroll accounting indicator in view V_T530_All  is to be set  for the action type and action reason which you use.
          2. Run the payroll for this person by doing force retro from 01.04.2011. With the force retro, /460(Income Tax for the month) will not change but the projection and all the other things will be changed.The pay slip will not change as pay slip checks the specified month data. But Form 16 will show the correct values (the total amount will be displayed in the Form 16).
          3. The following SAP Notes will have to applied for generating Form 16 correctly:
              1607827
              1614257
              1615579
              1679799
