My personal list of things to fix

Hi !
First of all, I really like my Passport: it's a pleasure to use it everyday !
But ... I think some minor problems should be fixed. Here is my list:
Unable to change the volume using my headphones buttons (play/stop buttons works perfectly)
Unable to change track using the Volume Up/Down buttons
Typographic problems in french: see screenshots below. On the first screenshot "Mettre fin à l'appel" text is not centered. On the second screenshot, "Mettre fin à l'appel" and "Hautparleur" are badly placed.
If you fix these things, I would be so grateful !

Personal List Values Being Cleared

Hi There,
We upgraded our system from 4.7 to ECC6 recently and things went relatively smoothly. However a call has been logged on a problem and I donu2019t even know where to start.
One useru2019s personal list keeps getting cleared off without any obvious cause or explanation.
She had built up a last of favourite materials into her Personal List and this had been working perfectly in 4.7. However, a couple of days after the upgrade her list was deleted. She logged a call but we couldnu2019t find a reason so we asked her to build up her list again.
Today she has logged another call saying the list had been cleared off again. This time we will have to find a solution as we canu2019t keep asking her to just rebuild her list.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and, preferably found a solution?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am takling about personal lists like in F4-help values.
It is the list of "frequently used" materials that a user can build up themselves to make it quicker for the user to find the material they want.
The problem is that this list keeps getting cleared off every couple of months with no obvious reason.
Does that make sense?

I do not understand your question. You do not formate an iPod. Please explain better the problem. what lead up to the problem and what you have tried so far.

I have downloaded my family movies captured on Hi8 video through a Dazzle hollywood DV-bridge to the iMac. Everything went well until I tried to finalize the project.

When I export (and I want HD quality) I get the error message that

Weird OSX display issues after going to webpage, only thing that fixes is Perm repair

I have a bizarre issue that i'd love some input on. Late 2009 iMac, Mountain Lion (then Mavericks).
I use Firefox to utilize a real estate website (Fusion MLS) for several months now. A couple of days ago, after i would log into the website and use it for a little bit, the rest of my tabs, apps, windows, would all start appearing as black boxes, or have glitched out (generally black) screen display issues. To be clear, other tabs inside the browser would be black, or partially black, and also the right half of my taskbar icons would be black silhouettes of the icon. BUT, the Fusion MLS website would still work fine. Closing the page, etc, would not fix the problem, it would be stuck like that no matter what i closed or opened, computer would function fine except for the display, but i couldnt see hardly any of the apps so I'd have to shutdown, but a simple reboot didnt fix it. After an hour of troubleshooting, I started off in Mountain Lion when the problem appeared, and in the process of troubleshooting I decided to upgrade to Mavericks to see if that would fix the problem, it didnt. Ultimately I discovered the only thing that fixes the problem is to boot into Safe Mode and Repair Permissions, then i can come back in as normal and everything is normal again (a standard reboot doesnt fix it, when logging back into OSX it would still have black silhouettes and all the app windows would be black).
So after the above I decided to just start using a different browser to go to this Fusion MLS website (Safari). Which worked fine for a day, but now when i go to the website, i have no problems, but when i put the computer to sleep, and bring it back, the windows are blacked out and icons silhouetted. So back to safe mode, repair perms, and then it works again. When i do the repair perms, there are usually no verbose things that it says it repairs, sometimes it says something about the PrinterList being 0 instead of 80, but thats it.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated, I'm completely dumbfounded....

Now regular Repair Perms doesnt fix it, it has to be Diskwarriors Repair Perms. Also it happens anytime the computer is put to sleep for a length of time and brought back, regardless of whether the Fusion MLS website was gone to.

Try b noir's post Standalone Apple Application Support install to see if that can repair the problem or provide futher information, otherwise try reinstalling again as shown in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

Personal List in F4 help

Hi all,
I have a specific requirement in which i need to create a Personal List in the F4 help, which is not difficult.
Now, the challenge is to roll out this personal list created for one user to many other users so that whenver the users do a F4, it is the personal list that pops up rather than the whole list.
How is this acheivable? Is it done by the Basis? Pointers please.

The info that was on the old iPhone can only be retreived either by restoring from iCloud/iTunes back up or syncing from iCloud. You need to chek these places and if nothing is there then I'm sorry that data is gone and you will only have the back ups you see.
But check iTunes back ups:
Windows
Edit>Preferences>devices
Mac
iTunes>Preferences>devices

Matchcodes/Search Helps/Personal Lists

I want to limit the list of values in the Unit of Measure field (MEINS in table MEREQ3211GRID) a user sees when the are Creating a Purchase requisition (ME51N). I know how to do with with a personal list but I don't want to have every user have to create their own personal llist. I would like to have a default for all users.
I have hear about matchcodes and done some searching but I don't seem to find anything about how to actually create one and how to assign it to all users. My searching also indicated matchcodes have been replaced with searchhellps which has added to my confusion.

Not done in ten minutes, but pretty good documentation available with function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE.

System Preferences > Network > Ethernet? If that shows "not connected" that is all your Mac knows. As far as it is concerned there is no cable connected to the port on your Mac, or the other end of the cable is either disconnected or connected to something that is broken.
Try another cable. If the cable is broken you will also get that status message. If you have exhausted all of these possibilities, the only remaining cause is an inoperative port on your Mac.

I didn't do the development, but it was a program (not user-exit) which copied a source User's data to other target Users
I'm pretty sure there will be something online regarding this - search Google..
