My phone app goes back to main screen after 1.5 seconds.

1) When I try to open the phone app I get a white screen w/ blue banner for 1.5 seconds and then it goes back to my home screen.
2) When I get a phone call, there is a green banner at top of screen that says "touch to return to call". NEVER saw this before.
These two things started happening at the same time.
Have done "hard" restarts and downloaded/installed newest OS. STILL have the same two problems.
Looking for a fix.

Well i´ve been having this problem too, but just reinstaled the app and worked fine again, or just with reboot the OS. But yesterday it was the worst...I just downloaded the Aurora Feint actualization and no apps worked anymore, but the worst part was that my ipod listsong was gone...i can see it in the computer, but not in the iphone...so ill have to restore my backup...i´ll feedback to apple

Selecting app, any app goes back to main screen

All at once today all of my installed apps behave the same way. I select the app, the app comes up briefly and then goes back to the main screen without giving me a chance to use the app. I have had such a problem a few times in the past but rebooting has always solved the problem.
Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

When i open an app, it is kicking me back to main screen after 5-10 seconds?

such as Facebook, Weather channel, etc. Email seems fine. Wireless is strong signal.

Shut down all programs that are running in the background.
1. Double-click the Home button to see Apps in the background
2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minu sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close program
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo
If the above doesn't work, try this:
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

Some games it just stops and goes back to main screen

Has anyone ever had this happen? There are a few games lately, Angry Birds, Hanging with Friends (haven't even played it yet, just got it) and they get to a certain point and the screen just goes blank then goes back to main screen.

My Ipod Touch keeps going back to main screen and won't let me play games, read my ebook, etc.

My IPOD Touch was working great until about 2 weeks ago. Now when I try to play a game, read an ebook, etc. it automatically goes back to the screen showing all my apps and won't let me stay and use the app I have selected. Is there anything I can do?

Try a hard reset of the iPod. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Help! On my new iPhone 4S, I can see all of my music and vidoes that I downloaded from itunes that I had previously purchased on my iPhone 4, BUT I can not play any of the songs! When I hit "play" from my 'albums' and 'playlist' or 'songs' it looks like it is going to play the song when the song screen comes up showing the album but then the screen starts flipping from album to album or song to song randomly. Then after flipping thru anywhere from 10-15 songs, it stops and goes back the previous page showing my list of music.... I have synched my phone, restored it and downloaded all of my music and videos. The only things I can get to play from my iPod on my iPhone 4S is my videos, no music. Can anyone help me? When I try to set up e-mail accounts the mail settings icon goes back to main screen. I have tried restoring and the same thing happens.

I have a new ipad2 3G and have a vodafone sim. Internet is working, but when I try to follow instructions to set up e-mail accounts (Settings/Mail Settings) it pops back to the main menu screen. I have restored and checked that restrictions are set to off, but still the same thing happens.

If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other.

Goes back to home screen after 2 seconds of trying to load music, videos or even iTunes

This happened awhile ago when trying to download the new Software for it (4.2), but wouldn't let me and stuck with Software 2.2.1. I put my music back on it and worked fine. Till I tried to open Music, Video or iTunes App on the iPod.
Anyways I gave up on it and didn't care till now. I've restored it (Power+Home Button) and tried Erase All Content and Settings. Still doesn't work no matter what I do. I can't restore it from iTunes because it tries to update it and that won't work.

So there are no apps at all on your home screens? Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. If you don't see anything after that, take a look at all of your home screens and folders to see if something is hidden. It that doesn't work, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
