My phone contact - phone book number - notifications disappear suddenly

i bought a q10 before 3 weeks ago , it was working perfectly, till 2 days ago, i was using the browser to check some pic's on Google, while i was browsing the internet stop, i closed it and tried to check my facebook, it couldn't even load, so i thought it from my net supplier, i restart my phone, and after it worked i check my facebook, but it was too slow, then i went throw my browser it was to slow to, i went in to my phone book in here was the suppress, that it never showed any calls, it just showed (no recent calls), then i tried to access my contacts, it also gave me (add accounts),
in the same time i lost my emails which my connected to the phone too,
now when i make a fone call it doesn't show it in the phone book
when some one make for me a miscall it doesn't show to
it doesn't save a contact
it doesn't notify me in any notification(bbm,msg,wassup..etc)
can't browser vedio, pics anything from browser or facebook in the time that my internet plane is still working perfectly
i lost all my contacts and linked contacts
can't even link my emails anymore
i which find for my the solution because my life ill get scrow if i didn't get my contact back

8830 phone book number to name matching

I have a BB 8830 World Edition. My service provider is Reliance.
The phone numbers stored in the phone book start with (+91) National Code for India and then the 10 digit mobile number or 8 digit mobile number.
Its the same way on my Nokia E51 and iPhone. When I get a call, the name is matched with the number correctly on the Nokia and iPhone. While on my BB, the name is not matched.
I found that only when the mobile number starts with 0 and then the 10 digit mobile number is the name correctly mapped on the BB. Why does the standard mapping on all other phones does not work with BB? The standard National Code + Phone number mapping used to work with my previous Moto Razr too. Why does it not work with BB?

I'm not sure the "why" is really important.
Set your County code at Phone (press the green dial key) > Options > Smart Dialing. Enter you country code there and national number length and remove your leading country code from the phone book entries.

Book marks bar disappeared suddenly

Hello,
I am using Safari 5.1 on OS 10.6.8 and suddenly while opening a new window the book marks bar disappeard. I restarted the system but it is not coming back. In the safari preferences, the options for bookmarks bar and menu are enabled and in spite of that I cannot see it.
Did any one have a similar problem or how can I debug it?

Sorry guys, false alarm. I must had some how pressed shift+command+B that removes bookmarks bar and there fore was unable to see it. Please ignore my question.

You may have been using the old Multirow Bookmarks extension in Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, which wasn't updated for Firefox 4.0 and 5.0. This is a different version of that old extension, which adds a few new features. <br />

Siri can't found contact number in phone book

When i trying to use siri to call someone which the name and contact is inside my icloud/phone book but siri always said she can't found the contact number. i hope someone can advise on this matter. TQ

Please realize that is only slightly more helpful than it started with a letter in the alphabet and ends in plist. Almost everything in that folder starts with com.apple. That is the default naming convention. It is a reverse domain name system (think reverse web address). So all Apple's preferences start with com.apple.
For anyone trying to fix a similar problem, please don't randomly delete plist files. While most will cause no harm and will get rebuilt automatically, deleting some will cause a little shock and awe. com.apple.mail.plist being the most shocking. If you delete it, you will not see your email in Mail until you recreate your accounts exactly as you had them before you deleted the plist. The email is still there, it is just that Mail doesn't know how to find them.

the same problem happened to me also, i felt that while playing hay day, if some calls came in between and if i answered the call, the setting of all the icloud items turns off. (i have backup of all the items on icloud), after deleting the account and making settings of mail, contact, calander etc on on mode and after rebooting the phone, it again download from icloud server. but it is just a headache. do not know how to handle this.

Has your carrier been having issues with Call Display? Do the telephone numbers come up when people call, or does it just show 'Unknown Number' or 'Blocked' ?

BlackBerry 10 OS, Problem with Phone-book(Contacts) application

I am using my Z30 as bussnes phone, thus I have over 1600 contacts in it. Many clients have 2 phone lines; one is phone only line & another that is FAX for incoming calls and it is also used as phone for outcoming calls, so the first line is not busy all time. When my clients call me at Z30 form the "FAX" line (traditional line-to-mobile voice call) , my mobile does not show my clinets name(shows only the phone number which is calling me), even there is a contact with this number at my phone-book. I meen that the reverse lookup fails. It seems that reverse lookup does not work for FAX numbers!!!
Can this be fixed on the upcomming update ?

Re-enter them.
Once they have been deleted from iCloud they are gone from all devices that sync to that iCloud account.

With my iPhone 5, when I delete a contact from my phone book, why can I still see it when I type in a name to select to text message?

If I delete a contact from my phone book, the number is still there when I go to type in a name to send a text message to, and is listed as 'other number'.
Can anyone please tell my why this is and how I can delete a number completely?

Th einformation is stored in cache memory on the phone. The only way to get rid of it is to restore the phone as new and you will lose data and settings. Eventually the cache will be overwritten so just ignore it

PHONE BOOK CONTACTS DISPLAY ON TMS

I have TMS 14.3.1 running.
I go into Manage Phone books and select a system then select the View Contacts Tab it lists my contacts but doesn't show the column listing the Address (Alias/IP) numbers????
I see the Address column but doesn't list the numbers ...
Now is the MXP phone book the field is "number" and not "address" but that is where the IP or alias number would go ... ???
Same with the Ex or C codec???
Any ideas to get the number to show other than add it along with the system name ie see my attached screen shot of the TMS list.

Dialing a number in the Phone Book from the phone

If I enter a phone number in the Phone Book in the MyVerizon webpage, how do I select that number to dial from my phone?

From your phone there is no way to make a call using the online contacts. You can use your computer to initiate the call. You can read more about. I have copied the instructions below that I have gotten from the user guide at http://www36.verizon.com/fiosvoice/userguide/User_Guide.pdf
To place a call using Calls and Messages Log:
1. Sign-in to your
Account Manager.
2. Click on the name or telephone number of the person you would like to
call from the “Calls and Messages” Log.
3. A pop-up window will appear. Select “Call Back” from the menu.
4. A second pop-up window will appear asking if you want to dial that
specific number or enter a new number. Click “Dial”.
5. Your phone line will ring once the call is placed. Pick up your phone and
wait for the person on the other end to pick up.
To place a call using your Phone Book:

3. Find the name of the person you would like to call.
4. Click on the name and select “Call” from the drop-down menu.

Look under system preferences on the mac at what is be controlled? Look at Mail, Contacts, Calendars. How many accounts are managing contacts? Just the cloud? the cloud and gmail? or cloud, gmail, yahoo, and exchange? If you have more than one contact account, then you will have different contact lists, if John Smith shows up in more than one of your contact lists, you will have multiple entries.
Pick a contact list that is your master, (I use iCloud), only turn on contact syncing for it. The same for your phone. Spend some time on the iCloud webset (www.icloud.com) and work on your contact list there. Clean it up, remove duplicates, etc...Changes will auto sync back to all your devices. Life gets much simplier.
Just remember, if you sync different contacts lists and a large number of people appear in your different lists, then they will appear as duplicates.
