Help my phone deleted my pics from dec2012-about 2 weeks ago and my calendar will not save dated
Why were you leaving images on your phone that long, rather than transferring them to your computer, like you would with any other digital camera?

If the system just Restarted on it's own, Shut down while you were working on something then started back up all those changes, edits, you had done in that app, document, are gone.

hi, i had recently formatted my iphone with no itunes backup. i restored my data with icloud but all the pics didn'y come back. now when i tried to restore again, icloud deleted all my pics from the server too!! is there any way i can get them back??

You choose to not copy them off to a computer as they are designed to be.
If they are no longer showing in iCloud, they are gone. -

Welcome to the Apple Community Hamza.
Firstly, photo stream doesn't save videos, secondly, it may not have all your photos saved in it, it only keeps photos for 30 days.
Back up your photos to a computer or online photo storage facility, before deleting them from your phone. -
My iphone storage is full due to my large photo library. As I want to go on taking more photos, if I back up my phone to icloud, can I then delete all my photos from my iphone to make room for new photos? Or will the next time I back up lose all those previously backed up as it is a 'new' set of data?
I just want to find the easiest and safest way of not losing all my photos while being able to take more than my iPhones storage worth as it is already full - can someone help me please? I thought icloud was the solution to not uploading my photos to the mac but I'm not sure if the way it's going is working and don't want to delete photos or lose my phone and then find out what I'm doing isn't actually storing my photos permanently. As you are clearly aware, it is important for you to have backups of your important data, including all of these photos you are currently keeping on your iPhone. While it is possible to use iTunes or iCloud to do backups of your iPhone, the problem becomes how to access those backups if you have deleted the photos from your iPhone. Once you have done the backup and then removed the photos from the iPhone, the only way to access the photos is by restoring the backups to the phone. Is it possible for deleting all the apps from the appstore which are showing up in the apps not on my phone section. Before I was able to delete them from itunes but now I am not able to find that option.
You can hide them via your computer's iTunes : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support
The 'x' might not show on their top left corner (it might be invisible), but clicking where it should be should hide the app. -

Photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process cannot be deleted direct from the iPhone. These photos are removed from your iPhone the same way - via the iTunes sync process.
Photos in the Camera Roll can be deleted direct from the iPhone. With the Camera Roll selected, select the icon at the top right. Select the photos you want to delete followed by selecting the Red delete button at the bottom right. -

That's not going to help. That article is for moving photos from iOS device to computer, not for removing them. Additionally, photos synced via iTunes cannot be manually removed from the device. You have to use iTunes to 'unsync' them, as FoxFifth stated.
Camera Roll pictures are the only ones that can be imported from device to computer. Album folders cannot be moved from device to computer. -
iTunes Match on my phone keeps saying its expired and deletes all my music from my phone.

You should be importing your pics to your computer as you would a digital camera iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer that way you won't lose any pictures in your camera roll. -
I deleted all downloaded songs from my iPhone but under
Settings/About it still shows songs on my phone.
How do I fix this? I need to use that storage space for other things.First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I have just connected my Ipad to my mac and went to upload all the pics from my mac onto my ipad but doing so it has overwrote everything on my ipad and therefore the pics on my ipad have gone!!!
Help - I have tried the restore but it didn't put back my photos it just started to sync the ones that had overwrote my old ones!!!I took the orginal photos on my iphone over the past couple of years and bit by bit i uploaded them onto my sony lap top in albums... Nothing to do with itunes...
A few months ago as my laptop didn't seem as reliable so i uploaded all the pics onto my ipad from my laptop, it was today where i thought i will upload more from my phone onto the mac then onto my ipad but insted it overwrote all the pics on my ipad.
I had tried to do the back up and it didnt work the photos were lost.
Then my ipad later today was driving me insane and wouldnt delete any of the pics so i just restrored it back to factory settings.
My laptop has had issues so i have in restored all that to.
I will now in the future just upload from my phone straight to my mac and not mess about wanting pics on my ipad.

How can I delete all the music from my iPhone and reinstall it?
I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it. The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs. I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone. And two of the albums (I only have albums, not individual songs) are duplicated on the phone, though they are not in my iTunes library.
I have gone into iTunes, selected the device at the top right corner, selected all the music that showed up in the window - gone to the Edit menu, selected "all" and then "delete." The list of tracks disappears from the device list. I then synced the phone again, and the albums are still on the phone. What am I missing, please? I've even shut the phone down and restarted it, synced it again, but nothing changes.
