My phone doesn't turn on, help!

I will put all my phones information first... I have an iPhone 5s 16g on iOS 8.2.
OK so my phone died (meaning it's not charged) last Thursday evening/night. It was showing the needing to charge with the red battery and the charger on the screen but then later not even that popped up it was just a black screen. My charger had broken and I didn't have one so I wasn't able to charge it until last night (Sunday) with one of those rip off chargers that take a little longer to charge. I tried that and this morning it still doesn't turn on. And YES IVE CLICKED RHE POWER BUTTON AND HOME BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME. That didn't work I am getting a better charger tomorrow but I KNOW this charger works because I was able to charge my iPod. I need more ideas my phones just showing a black screen Ive clicked all the buttons including the ringer and everything my phone just won't do anything. I got my phone in February of this year so I doubt the battery is dead or that my phone is broken. I guess I will wait until I get my new charger hopefully that will help. Please help ASAP, thanks! (PS: I've never used this so idk what a community is)

Similar problem here. Iphone 5 32gb met iOS 8.1.2 keeps blinking apple logo when connected to the charger but doesn't start up. iTunes doesn't recognise it, but i managed to get it into recovery mode. But sadly the update stops with an unknown error 2001. Changing cables, ports or even laptops doesn't help. DFU mode gives similar results.
Any suggestions where to go from here?

I've essentially figured out that my Z10 needs to be returned for some sort of warranty / repair, however I'm really hoping that we can request that the data on the phone be saved rather than it just be lost forever. Is this possible? There are many important notes that haven't been backed up.
Symptoms: Phone doesn't turn on, red light comes on solid for a few minutes and then turns off. Connecting it to a computer doesn't result in anything (no computer connection, no change in phone).
I am with Bell, and I even live in Kitchener (I could personally drop into BB to sort this out) I wanted to check here as a last resort before sending it back.

I used these steps from Geek Squad and it worked for me.
Restore BB10
When a BlackBerry 10 device is only flashing the red light and refusing to boot up, this indicates that the device’s operating system has become corrupted. The flashing light may follow the pattern of 1, 2 or 3 short blips, with a longer pause between the sets.
In order to fix this, you need to re-install the operating system on the device, which will then set the device back to its original factory state.
Please note: this process will completely wipe your device, so please make sure you have a backup of your personal information available to restore before going through this process.
Download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Link for your computer.
Open BlackBerry Link software.
Plug in the BlackBerry device using your USB cable.
At the bottom left of the program, find the device you're having issues with and select it by clicking on it.
The BlackBerry Link application will then ask to either reconnect or reload the device software. Choose Reload.
Confirm the reload when prompted to do so, which will wipe clean any data previously on the handset.
Allow the reload to complete, which can take some time. Whilst this is underway, the device will have a solid green light. This process of downloading and reinstalling the device can take an hour or more, depending on the speed of your internet connection, soplease don't disconnect the BlackBerry until the process has finished.
Once the restore is complete, simply set up your device again, or restore it from a previous backup stored on your machine. However, if you want to restore a previous backup, remember to sign in to your BlackBerry ID on the device first! If you're not sure how to do this, we have a full guide available.
The good news is, this process is almost identical on both PC and Apple Mac. Simply follow the same process as above. Finally, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

My iPhone 5c doesn't turn on at all at the moment, I think its an internal problem with the screen so doing a hard reset and putting a charger in won't help.
I haven't backed up in ages. Is there a way I could back up without it needing to be on i.e. connecting to iTunes perhaps? I'm sending my phone to Apple to repair but wondered if I could somehow save my data first?

I have the same problem, and my Ipod turned off (when I held the home and power button)
but then when I held down the home button (after turned off) nothing happened, the screen is still black.

Phone won't turn on (HELP!?!?!?! PLEASE)

On the way to class I dropped my phone on the stairs about 5 feet in the air pretty hard but it was on its back (thank god it didn't crack) . My phone will NOT TURN ON and the screen is black. I tried the holding down home and lock button method so many times and I held it while I watched a TV show (so that's a pretty long time). Nothing worked. I finally got home and plugged it into my computer. At first it didn't respond then after a while it finally connected to my itunes. On my computer everything is fine, but the phone still will not turn on. It keeps making this beeping noise every 3 seconds too SOMEONE HELP ME????

yea you damaged your iphone on the inside. I would recomend you get it fixed with apple

Hi,
Yesterday I tried to turn on my phone after charging it. It vibrated and the backlight lit up as it usually does when the phone turns on, however, the Sony Ericsson logo does not appear and it stays frozen in this state. I have tried removing the battery for a few minutes but it doesn't change anything.
I also tried connecting to PC Companion, which intermittently detects the phone, as if it was being continuously connected and disconnected. I cannot do an update or anything to it from the computer.
Can anyone please tell me what the problem is and if there's anything else I can do?

Hi Jobitt, welcome to the community!
If the light comes on that is a good sign. Have you tried powering the phone off and making sure it is disconnected from the PC > pressing Start under Support Zone > Phone/tablet software update > Repair my phone/tablet > following on-screen instructions and then connecting the phone when prompted?

Acr update, phone doesn't turn on anymore

I got up this morning and noticed there was an update available for the arc. I downloaded it and pressed install. The phone turned off and on again for moment, it showed a progress bar of the update, but it seemed like it would take a while so I let it be and lights turned off.. After a while I tried to turn the lights on -> nothing and now if I try to turn the phone on -> nothing!! o_O
Pc companion doesn't recognise the phone at all.. So is there a way to either cancel the update and go back to the previous one or make it work with the new one?
Any way at all to make it work?!?

Press and release the Power button.

you have two options 1) lock your bootloader then use PC Companion or Update Service to repair/update your phone
or
2) update your phone with FlashTool

Iphone 4 doesn't turn on help me please couldn't fix it

Well about 1 year and Iam already trying to fix it doing every thing is possible but nothing...here
here is my problem with iphone :
it stopped working and it just wont turn on and gave me all errors in itunes i saw alot of errors

I was just taking pictures of my bedroom at diffferent ISO settings. It was fine. I rested for few minutes. Then I retried again. The phone wasn't responding. It was just dead blank screen. I tried many button combination, short press, long press but no luck. I just tried removing the simm card but no luck. Damn!
I'm very disappointed. I love this phone specifically the UX. If you noticed, I even made a tripod mount for it. LOL. Now it's **bleep** dead!

The problem with bugs is, they can't work on it unless they can replicate it. The problem could be specific to you phone, your version of the phone or something you did. In my case, it happened when I installd and tried to use an app not meant for my region. The problem disappeared when I uninstalled [the app. Same as you, I hard reset without any loss of data.

"error executing the process" rebooted there after it doesn't turn on

I have an important problem with my Lenovo k900 brought in september 2013. It gave an error like this "error executing the process..." I reboot the phone, but since that moment the phone doesn't turn on.
I have tried a hard reset (power + volume(+)) but it doesn´t work.
When I press the power button, the lights below switch on for a few seconds, but the phone doesn't turn on.

This is a tough problem to solve if your not experienced with fixing Mac's, you can opt to take it to a local PC/Mac tech to solve it or you can attempt things on your own.
If you opt for the local help make sure talk to them if you have backups of your data or not, thus may require data recovery efforts performed first before wiping and installing everything fresh.

My iphone 5 doesn't turn on

I was using my iPhone 5 last night, and before go to sleep I plugged it to the charger for some reason this morning my phone doesn't turn on, I tried different plugs and my mac, but still... I tried another cables and remain the same. When I press the home bottom it shows like it's charging, and when I unplugged the cable from the iphone, it ask for charging... I plugged to the computer to see if at least i could transfer my photos to iPhoto or open it in iTunes... but it doesn't work. Can somebody help me on this?

If that doesn't work it may be a hardware issue. Maybe a power surge during the night. If that is the case you will need to make a Genius Bar appointment.

My e5 doesn't turn on

Hi, my name is Guille and I need help cause my phone doesn't turn on. My phone hasn't worked about one month because it got wept and I left it to get dry. When I try to turn it on, it sometimes vibrates 3 times and then nothing happens. Last time it turned on, I used it normally, except the battery charge, it didn't work with the USB port nor the nokia charger, but I connected it to the computer and it worked well, also I checked that every key worked and they do. But I couldn't do too much because the battery was almost uncharged. So I turned it of and placed charged battery from another e5, and it didn't turn on. Now it doesn't vibrates 3 times, the screen stills black.
When I plug it into the comp, my lap doesn't recognize it, as if I don't plug anything. But sometimes appears an add that says it hasn't been installed correctly.
I hope you can help me =)

Did you remove the battery and left the phone without back-cover for drying ? Even that will not dry the phone completely. (Refer THIS ) ...May be the water has done the damage. Though Nokia Care may bring the phone to life again, have doubts that it will stay that way for quite long. Don't know if some parts are already affected but may be just working when they carry out the repairs..and will fail after some use..

Mi N80 Doesn't turns on

I really need help!!
It seems as though the software that was being installed into my N80ie may have been corrupt, thus it not finishing the install and my phone basically being dead right now. I was told I need the software for the phone reflashed on the phone and that I couldn't do this myself and needed to go to a service center. I would really appreciate any help, right now my phone doesn't turn on, charge, or make any indication that it even works at all. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY, GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
Here's a little background on what happened...
While updating my N80 (internet edition), the update was disrupted with a window that stated "Phone Recovery" and it stated for me to remove the battery and charger, then put it all back in and try and power on the phone. After this was done, it still didn't turn on.
What does this mean? Why did it happen? Now my phone won't power on or anything. When I hook up the wall charger to it, it won't even charge.
Nothing happens, it seems as though my phone is just dead. Can this be repaired? I did nothing to it while it was hooked up and randomly this happens, it just updated and then randomly the phone recovery window popped up. The update did not finish though, it was about 70% done. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!
