please helpNot to my knowledge. They do not have a supply of SIM cards. Do you have a cellular phone at all? Do you have a friend with one that has the same size SIM as the phone you have? You can use one of theirs. Why would someone get you an iPhone as opposed to an iPod if you do not have a cellular account?

My new iPhone 5 is currently having problems with the wifi. I can't connect to my home network unless I am right next to the router. Even then there are only one or two bars. When I am in a public place like Starbucks, I can't find any wifi networks. I plan on bringing it to the Apple Store and getting it replaced. Can I just get the iPhone replaced, or do I need to replace everything (box, manuals, headphones, etc)?

I have to leave the plan I am on so I thought about just switching carriers, but a friend suggested that I flash my phone to Boost mobile. However, I am not sure I want to do that because I am not 100% sure that I'd be able to walk into an Apple store and receive help.

I'm upgrading to OS X Mavericks because the App Store notified me. I'm still downloading it and it's a long way until I can upgrade it. Do I need to back up the files using Time Machine? I don't have any external hard disks with me right now and I'm worried if my data will lost after upgrade. Please answer. Thank you!
You need to backup files if you are trying to write the new OS X on the previous OS X partition. You will end up loosing all files & data if you replace the Mavericks with the old OS Xon same disk. But if you have another partition ready for the Mavericks then no worries. I did the same when I downloaded 10.9 from Apple. I too had Stellar Drive Clone software ready to backup my entire hdd. Actually, you should have a backup utility for one or many reasons.

I got my iphone replaced in august as it was faulty and my warranty ran out in September . If I go see them again about several faults that have since appeared with my phone will Apple still replace it as I've only had the first replacement for 2 months? Thanks :)
Your replacement phone came with a 90 day warranty or the balance of your original warranty, whichever is longer.
