Mutt phone keeps saying no service because of a SIM card error? What does that mean and how do I fix it? It has done it twice I today's now and it very frustrating as I cannot make any calls.
Try reseating the SIM card or replacing it.

you need to contact the provider of your old phone and find out 1) if the provider unlocks phones and 2) what the procedure is to get the phone unlocked.

Have you done a reboot? (holding the on/off and Home button at same time until the Apple logon appears.)
Also, have you tried closing all apps? (double click Home button and swipe up with your finger.)

When trying to delete messages in mail, I've been getting this message:“74608.emlx” couldn’t be copied to “Messages” because an item with the same name already exists." The numbers at the beginning are always different but the ".emlx" and the rest of the statement is always the same. How can I fix this problem?

In the US you can purchase 'iTunes' or 'App Store' cards for cash at many retail stores, and apply the code from the purchased (validated) card to add credit (money) to your Apple ID account for online music and App purchases. It is my understanding that such credits can be used for US purchases of any online content, including music, apps, and movie rentals. Are such cards sold in your area?

Need to reboot airport because safari keeps freezing. Multiple times per session! How do I fix this?
When using the internet on my MacBook Pro, it often freezes up and the only way that I can get it to work is to turn my airport off and then on again. Can anyone tell me how to stop from needing to do this? It is very irritating and I have taken to using an ethernet connection just to avoid having to deal with the problem. Thanks!

I got a new phone and did the "restore from iCloud backup" and now none of my new stuff can sync to iCloud due to amount of storage. Is there anything I can do besides buying more memory? I had a gb or 2 left prior to getting the new phone
If you no longer need the backup of your old phone, delete it to free up the storage.

There is the physical storage on your iPad, then the 5 GB of storage in the cloud for backups.

This is your backup storage, which you can also view by tapping

Show all apps
Now you know what is using space, you can transfer photo and video to computer, delete unused apps, delete the data in apps you don't need to save. -
My imessage has been sketchy lately. One text it will say my iMessage has been delivered the next I have to send it as a text message. I've tried turning my phone on and off and turning iMessage on and off repeatedly. How do i fix this problem?
It takes two to tango, maybe it's your recipient that has weak Internet/Cellular connections.

I just updated my iTunes and now I get a message that the application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. What happened and how do I fix this? I can't access any of my music now.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I Keep getting 'The file iTunes cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes' how do I fix this so iTunes will open on my computer. I am running Windows 7 and I think the last time I synced or tried to open iTunes I was running windows XP, but I am not sure.

Have you previously synced photos to your iPad ? If so try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314
In terms of iOS5, what version of iTunes have you got on your computer ? You need iTunes 10.5 to be able to download iOS 5 -

i have an old i phone 3s and was using it as an ipod. at the last update i got got a message saying there is no sim card in the phone. i do not want it to be a phone anymore. however the device has a locked screen saying it has no SIM card. how do i get back to unlocking the iphone and using it as an ipod again.
thanksiPhones require a SIM card for activation, regardless of whether it is being used as an iPhone or an iPod.
Put a SIM in the device for the carrier it is locked to and activate it. The SIM can then be left it it or removed.
