My phone is activated but I still cannot get calls or setup my VMAIL. According to the service bar, I do have full service, but for some reason it says "unable to setup voicemail, try again later".

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Ok, so you said you've already right clicked on each song and "created a MP3 version?"
If so sort the library's music by "Date Added (if it is not there right click on the other sort bars and add the column "Date Added". The mp4 versions are the ones in the playlist. You will have to find the newly added mp3s by sorting by Date Added. Hope this helps!

Ensure you are using the SMC reset for an Intel iMac. Sometimes it take several tries back to back for the SMC reset to work. I've included a link to the correct instructions for an Intel iMac (just in case) , click https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3603.
If you still have issues then run Apple Hardware Test in Extended Mode at least 3x, it's also possible you may have a damaged fan or fan sensor.

I just corrected my problem. After connecting to the TV, go to System Preferences, Sound, and select the HDMI rather than Internal Speakers.

I would strongly suggest updating Firefox to 3.6.6 to begin with by following these instructions: [[Updating Firefox]].

Welcome to the Apple Community Willy.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

This happened after I got my carrier to unlock my phone.

Hi, I tried all the steps listed in these forums and they didn't work (I deleted the apps and added them back, I dled a new app, I signed in and out of my acct, I synced my phone, I did a reset holding down the power and home button, etc.). Finally I just restored the phone and added back the apps I wanted. That took care of it. Thanks.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I would recommend signing out of your Apple ID for iMessage on your son's iPhone, instructions for which are found here:

To sign out of your Apple ID
Go to Settings > FaceTime, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out.
You may also want to make sure his phone number is deactivated for your Apple ID:

The Help page you came here from gives you all the information; without the previous owner's password or his removing the phone from his list of devices you cannot proceed and I'm afraid your phone is useless.

You can go to the Apple online store and purcahse a copy of Mountain Lion. This will give you a redemption code, which you can use to download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Unfortuantely, I'm not aware of any other way to legally purchase it. I have never seen Apple release Muontain Lion on DVD.
In terms of Apple Service, they just need the serial number of the machine to check the purcahse date. It is usually correct, to within a few weeks. A quick Google search should give you the correct number to dial.

I would delete the account and try to re-enter it. Also, you have to let your firm's IT department know that you want to sync work email on your personal devices before they actually work.
