My phone is disabled....?

can anyone tell me how to "recover" my phone..
i had it stolen 10 days ago and i put it in lost mode on the app find my iphone
i did however get it back today and i did stop lost mode from my ipad, but it still says iphone disabled connect to itunes.
have tried connecting it to a friends itunes cause i dont own a laptop my self but it wont connect and it says that the phone is locked
and in lost mode still....
how do i get my phone back??
